Claims (5)
- 1.ベースステーションによって意図された利用者に送信されるときに拡散スペ クトル信号を含むアウトバウンド情報を受信して復調する受信機と、別の意図さ れた利用者への転送のために拡散スペクトル信号を含むインバウンド情報を前記 ベースステーションに送信する送信機とを有し、前記ベースステーションで受信 されたときに実質的に一定のレベルで前記インバウンド拡散スペクトル信号の送 信機の信号パワーを制御するためのパワー制御システムを有するトランシーバで あって、前記ベースステーションは前記インバウンド拡散スペクトル信号の信号 パワーを測定し、予め定められた受信されるインバウンド拡散スペクトル信号パ ワーレベルに関する前記インバウンド拡散スペクトル信号の前記測定された信号 パワーの変化に応じてパワー調節命令を生成し、前記アウトバウンド拡散スペク トル信号で前記パワー調節命令を送信するトランシーバにおいて、前記パワー制 御システムが、前記アウトバウンド拡散スペクトル信号で送信された前記パワー 調節命令を前記受信機から受信し、予め定められた閉ループパワーレベル値に関 する前記パワー調節命令に対応した値を累算し、対応した閉ループパワーレベル 制御信号を生成するための前記受信機に結合された制御プロセッサ手段と、前記 制御プロセッサ手段から前記閉ループパワーレベル制御信号を受信し、前記送信 機による送信のために前記閉ループパワーレベル制御信号によって決定された第 1の利得で前記インバウンド拡散スペクトル信号を増幅するための前記送信機に 動作的に結合された節1の増幅器手段と、前記受信機によって受信された信号の 信号パワーを測定し、対応したパワー測定信号を供給するための前記受信機に結 合された自動利得制御手段と、 前記受信機によって受信された信号の信号パワーを決定し、予め定められたレベ ル設定パラメータに関して開ループパワーレベル設定信号を生成するための前記 受信機手段に結合された変換手段と、 前記パワー測定信号および前記開ループパワーレベル信号を受信して比較し、対 応した開ループパワーレベル制御信号を供給するための比較器手段と、 開ループパワーレベル制御信号を受信し、前記開ループパワーレベル制御信号に よって決定された第2の利得で前記インバウンド拡散スペクトル信号を増幅する ための前記送信機に動作的に結合された第2の増幅器手段とを具備しているトラ ンシーバ。
- 2.前記受信機はアナログ受信機部分およびデジタル受信機部分を有し、前記自 動利得制御手段は全ての受信されたアウトバウンド拡散スペクトル信号の広帯域 信号パワーを測定するために前記アナログ受信機部分に結合されている請求項1 記載のトランシーバ。
- 3.測定されたアウトバウンド拡散スペクトル信号パワーの増加は前記開ループ パワー制御レベル信号の増加に対応し、前記第2の増幅器手段が前記第2の利得 を減少するためにそれに応答し、測定されたアウトバウンド拡散スペクトル信号 パワーの減少は前記開ループパワー制御レベル信号の減少に対応し、前記第2の 増幅器手段が前記第2の利得を増加するためにそれに応答する請求項1記載のト ランシーバ。
- 4.前記デジタル受信機部分は前記アウトバウンド拡散スペクトル信号から前記 パワー調節命令を抽出し、前記制御プロセッサ手段は前記閉ループパワーレベル 制御信号を生成するように前記パワー調節命令を受信するために前記デジタル受 信機部分に結合され、各パワー調節命令が前記閉ループパワーレベル制御信号の 変化に影響を与え、前記第1の増幅器手段が前記第1の利得中の対応した変化を 与えるように前記閉ループパワーレベル制御信号の各変化に応答する請求項2記 載のトランシーバ。
- 5.前記節1の利得の各変化は、前記送信機の利得の予め定められたdB変化に 対応している請求項4記載のトランシー発明の詳細な説明
