Description

【考案の詳細な説明】 〔産業上の利用分野〕 本考案は、エンジンが車両後方に設けられたリヤエンジ
ンバスの後部構造に関する。
〔従来の技術〕
リヤエンジンバスの後部には、エンジンが搭載されてい
るが、エンジンの日常点検としてラジエータの補水ある
いはエンジンオイルレベル等を点検する必要がある。
従って一般に第３図に示すようにリヤエンジンバスのバ
ックパネル２には、これら点検必要部材の点検を行なう
ために開閉自在の点検扉３が設けられている。
〔考案が解決しようとする課題〕
ところで、近年リヤエンジンバスの高級化が進みバック
パネルには装飾用のガーニッシュが設けられている。こ
のガーニッシュは、一般にバックパネルの主要部分に設
けられるので、点検必要部材の点検を行なうための点検
扉３が設けにくくなる。
そこで、エンジンルーム内の部材のレイアウトを変更し
て点検扉３を移設することが考えられるが、バックパネ
ルに開口部が増えて強度上，外観構成上好ましくない。
本考案は上記観点に立ってなされたもので、その目的と
する処は強度上，外観構成上好ましく、かつ点検必要部
材の点検も行なわれ、エンジンルーム内の換気も行ない
得るリヤエンジンバスの後部構造を提供することであ
る。
〔課題を解決するための手段〕
上記目的を達成するための本考案に係るリヤエンジンバ
スの後部構造は、バックパネルに水平方向に開口部を形
成し、その開口部にガーニッシュをヒンジを介して開閉
自在に設け、前記開口部のエンジンルーム内の位置に点
検必要部材を配設したリヤエンジンバスの後部構造にお
いて、上記ガーニッシュがエンジンルーム換気用ルーバ
を兼ねた構成になっていることを特徴とする。
〔作用〕
バックパネルの開口部にヒンジを介して設けられたガー
ニッシュを開放すれば、開口部のエンジンルーム内の位
置に配設された点検必要部材の点検が行なわれる。
一方、前記ガーニッシュを閉鎖すれば、バックパネルの
ガーニッシュとして作用する。
また、ガーニッシュがエンジンルーム換気用のルーバを
兼ねているので、エンジンルーム内の換気も行なわれ
る。
〔実施例〕
以下、図面により本考案を詳細に説明する。
第１図は、本考案に係るリヤエンジンバスの後部構造の
一実施例を示したものである。
10はリヤエンジンバスで、その後部にはバックパネル11
が設けられている。バックパネル11の上部には後部窓12
が設けられ、下部にはエンジンルーム封止パネル13が設
けられている。後部窓12と封止パネル13間のバックパネ
ル11のほぼ中央部には、第２図に示すように水平方向に
帯状の開口部14が形成されている。この横長開口部14に
は、上部に取り付けられたヒンジ15を介してエンジンル
ーム換気用のルーバを兼ねた帯状のガーニッシュ21が開
放自在に設けられている。
またガーニッシュ21の下部側には、止め金17が設けられ
ている。止め金17の外部側には解除ボタン18が設けら
れ、止め金17は解除ボタン18を押すことによって解除可
能となっている。前記開口部14のエンジンルーム19の位
置には、例えばラジエータの補水口20、エンジンオイル
レベル点検ゲージ等の点検必要部材が配設されている。
このようなリヤエンジンバスの後部構造によれば、必要
に応じバックパネル11の開口部14にヒンジ15を介して設
けられたガーニッシュ21を開放すると、開口部14のエン
ジンルーム19内の位置に配設されたラジエータの補水口
20への補水等の点検必要部材の点検が簡単に行なわれ
る。
一方ガーニッシュ21を閉鎖すると止め金17でロックさ
れ、バックパネル11の本来のガーニッシュとして作用す
る。
この例によれば、開閉自在のガーニッシュ21がエンジン
ルーム換気用のルーバを兼ねているから、開放すること
により点検必要部品の点検は勿論のこと、エンジンルー
ム内の換気も行なわれる。
〔考案の効果〕
以上説明した如く本考案は、バックパネルに水平方向に
開口部を形成し、その開口部にガーニッシュをヒンジを
介して開閉自在に設け、前記開口部のエンジンルーム内
の位置に点検必要部材を配設したリヤエンジンバスの後
部構造において、上記ガーニッシュがエンジンルーム換
気用ルーバを兼ねた構成にしたことで、強度上，外観構
成上好ましく、かつ点検必要部材の点検も簡単に行なわ
れ、エンジンルーム内の換気も行ない得る効果を奏す
る。

  1. 【請求項１】バックパネルに水平方向に開口部を形成
    し、その開口部にガーニッシュをヒンジを介して開閉自
    在に設け、前記開口部のエンジンルーム内の位置に点検
    必要部材を配設したリヤエンジンバスの後部構造におい
    て、上記ガーニッシュがエンジンルーム換気用ルーバを
    兼ねた構成になっていることを特徴とするリヤエンジン
    バスの後部構造。
