Abstract
Description
Claims (5)
- 1.(a)(i)シリコン粉末、および(ii)水 の混合物を含むスラリーを粉砕すること、(b)前記の粉砕は、シリコン粉末に ついて新しい、酸化されていない表面を形成するようにかつシリコンと水との間 で実質的な化学反応が可能となるように行なうことを特徴とする、窒化可能なシ リコン−含有材料の製造方法。
- 2.粉砕されたスラリーを、化学反応が実質的に完了に達しうるのに十分な期間 の間、粉砕せずに熱成し、続いて反応したスラリーの含水量を、噴霧乾燥および スリップ注型よりなる群から選択された方法により、その後に窒化しうるところ の乾燥物を生成するのに十分な程度に、減少することをさらに特徴とする請求項 1記載の方法。
- 3.(a)(i)シリコン粉末、 (ii)水、および (iii)酸化鉄、酸化鉛、ニッケルカルボエル、酸化ニッケル、炭化珪素,グ ラファイト、カーボン、酸化アルミニウム、Fe2O3、NiO、CoO、Ca F、PbO、Li2O、Na2O、K2O、BaO、BN、曹長石(NaAlS i3O8)、正長石(KAlSi3O8)、灰長石(CaA12Si2O8)、 霞石閃長岩、滑石、ホウ砂、ソーダ灰、Pb、O4、α−相Si3N4およびこ れらの混合物よりなる群から選択された少なくとも一種の窒化剤の混合物を含む スラリーを粉砕し、 該少なくとも一種の窒化剤は、結果生じる乾燥物の体積に基づいて全体で約0. 1ないし7体種パーセントの少なくとも一種の窒化剤に達する量で用いられ、該 スラリー成分は、該スラリーが約10ないし60体積パーセントの固形物と約9 0ないし40体積パーセントの水を含有し、そして該固形物は、シリコン粉末と 該少なくとも一種の窒化剤より成り、前記の粉砕は、シリコン粉末について新し い、酸化されていない表面を形成するようにかつシリコンと水との間で実質的な 化学反応が可能となるように行なうこと、 (b)該粉砕されたスラリーを、化学反応が実質的に完了に達しうるのに十分な 期間の間、粉砕せずに熱成すること、および (c)該反応したスラリーの含水量を、その後に窒化しうるところの乾燥物を生 成するのに十分な程度に減少することを特徴とする、窒化可能なシリコン−含有 材料の製造方法。
- 4.請求項1記載の方法により製造された窒化可能なシリコン−含有材料。
- 5.請求項3記載の方法により製造された窒化可能なシリコン−含有材料。
