【発明の詳細な説明】 [産業上の利用分野] 本発明は、金モール製エンブレムや、刺繍製ワ
ツペン、アツプリケ等に代る熱可塑性合成樹脂フ
イルム製のエンブレム、ワツペン、アツプリケ、
ステツカー等の装飾片の製造方法と成形型との改
良に関するものである。
[従来の技術] 熱可塑性合成樹脂フイルムを用いて、やや肉厚
に膨隆したアツプリケ、ワツペン、ステツカー等
の装飾片を成形する方法、金型としては、特公昭
49−27421号公報とか、実公昭50−35993号公報等
に開示される技術が知られている。
これらの技術は、第4図に示されるように、周
縁に溶断刃部A、溶断刃部Aで囲まれた領域に押
圧刃部B,C,D……を有する金型Eを高周波誘
電加熱の一方の電極とし、他方の電極たる金型台
Fの上に布帛等の基材と、熱可塑性合成樹脂の発
泡シートと熱可塑性合成樹脂フイルム等とを載置
し、その上面から前記金型Eで押圧し、溶着、溶
断を行ない、肉厚に膨隆した装飾片を成形するも
のである。
[発明が解決しようとする問題点] 上述の従来技術により得られた装飾片を断面と
して示すと第5図のごとき構造であり、その膨隆
は、熱可塑性合成樹脂の発泡シートの有する嵩高
さと、装飾片内に閉じ込められた空気とによつて
行なわれるものであり、既述の溶断刃部A、押圧
刃部B,C,D……等の間の間隔G,Hが広い部
位では前記発泡シートIの力で高く膨隆し、該間
隔G,Hが狭い部位では、発泡シートIが熱可塑
性合成樹脂シートで押圧されて低く膨隆し、押圧
による溶着部で囲まれた広い部位Kには、装飾片
内に閉じ込められた空気の圧力で高く膨隆される
ものである。
しかし、これ等の膨隆は、発泡シートの嵩高さ
内封される空気圧に依存するにすぎないので、膨
隆度合が小であり、例えば、装飾片全体として截
頭錐体状とか欠球状の立体を形成するごとき膨隆
度合の著しく大きな装飾片は形成できず、また保
形性能は特に保有していないので、成形完了時の
偏平形態以外の形態を採らせても、直ちに偏平形
態に戻つてしまう等の店で問題が存する。
[発明の目的] 前述の従来技術の問題点に鑑み、本発明は、従
来と同一の工程に依るにも拘らず、装飾片全体と
して、截頭錐体あるいは欠球状のごとき顕著な立
体を形成し、しかもその立体形状の保形性能が大
きい熱可塑性合成樹脂フイルム製の装飾片を成形
する方法と、その成形に使用する成形型とを提供
することを目的としている。
[問題点を解決するための手段] 前述の目的を達成するため、本発明では、電気
絶縁体で成形され、模様外郭部に相当する周縁基
部と、該周縁基部で囲まれた領域内で、模様の膨
出部に対応して該周縁基部より突出する異なる高
さの複数の突出部とからなり、高周波誘電加熱用
の一方の電極の加工面に載置される受圧型と、模
様外郭部相当位置に溶断刃部を突出させ、該溶断
刃部で囲まれた領域内の模様輪郭線相当位置に複
数の押圧刃部を突出させると共に、前記溶断刃部
は受圧型の周縁基部に対応し、各押圧刃部は受圧
型の異なる高さの突出部のいずれかの少なくとも
一方の輪郭部に対応する突出高さとされ、各溶断
刃部と各押圧刃部との間は、各刃先面から遠ざか
る方向へ、模様の膨出高さより深く凹陥した空所
とされているところの、高周波誘電加熱用の他方
の電極たる成形金型とを使用し、高周波誘電加熱
用の一方の電極の加工面上に前記受圧型を載置
し、該受圧型上に、硬質熱可塑性合成樹脂シート
を重ね、該シート上に伸展性を有する基材シート
を重ね、更に該基材シート上に、少なくとも熱可
塑性合成樹脂フイルムを重ね、該フイルム上か
ら、前記高周波誘電加熱用の他方の電極たる成形
金型で押圧し、受圧型の突出部に概ね沿つた形態
に、硬質熱可塑性合成樹脂シートと伸展性を有す
る基材との伸長、膨出させ、その上面に成形金型
の溶断刃部と押圧刃部とにより最外層の熱可塑性
合成樹脂フイルム模様輪郭線部分で溶着させ、模
様外郭部で溶断する。
冷却後、脱型させると、硬化した硬質熱可塑性
合成樹脂シートの保形性能により異なる高さの複
数の突出部に沿つて形成された膨隆形状が安定し
て保形されるものである。
[作用] 本発明に係る方法では、受圧型上に重ねられた
硬質熱可塑性合成樹脂シートと、伸展性を有する
布帛等の基材シートと、その上に重ねられた熱可
塑性合成樹脂フイルムとは、受圧型に向かつて押
圧される形成金型の溶断刃部と押圧刃部とによる
押圧、加熱によつて受圧型の突出部に沿つて伸
長、変形され、模様輪郭線位置で一体に溶着さ
れ、模様外郭部で基材シートより外層の熱可塑性
合成樹脂フイルム等が溶断される。
この結果、成形金型の溶断刃部と押圧刃部との
間に位置する熱可塑性合成樹脂フイルム、基材シ
ート、硬質熱可塑性合成樹脂シート等は、前記各
刃部間の空所内へ膨出し、受圧型の段差を存して
突出する複数の突出部に概ね沿つた膨隆形状とな
り、冷却によつて硬質熱可塑性合成樹脂シートが
成形形状で硬化すると、半永久的にその形状を維
持できる状態となり、膨隆模様から更に膨隆模様
が突出しているがごとき著しく立体的な模様外形
が安定する。
上述のように冷却完了後に脱型され、模様外郭
部での打ち抜き切断が行なわれる。
また本発明に係る成形型によれば、受圧型に形
成されている周縁基部との複数の高さの異なる突
出部と、成形金型に形成されている前記周縁基部
に対応する溶断刃部と、前記突出部のいずれかの
少なくとも一方の輪郭部に対応する押圧刃部との
作用と、各溶断刃部と各溶断刃部との間に形成さ
れている模様の膨出高さより深く凹陥した空所と
の作用により、膨隆高さに複数種の差の存する立
体的な装飾片を1工程で成形できる。
[実施例] 第1図は第1の実施例の脱型時の状態を模型的
に示す縦断面図であり、第2図は、成形された装
飾片の模型的縦断面図であつて、本発明の製造方
法では、本発明に係る成形型を使用するが、その
成形型は、第1図に示される受圧型1の成形金型
2とが使用される。
前述の受圧型1はベークライトまたはグラスフ
アイアーで強化した熱硬化合成樹脂たる所謂
FRPあるいは耐熱性硬質ゴム等の電気絶縁体で
成形されたもので、第2図に示される装飾片3の
模様外郭部4に相当する周縁基部5と、周縁基部
5で囲まれた領域内で、模様の膨出部6,7,8
に対応して、前記周縁基部5より突出する異なる
高さh1,h2,h3の複数の突出部9,10,11が
形成されている。
この電気絶縁体で形成された受圧型1は、高周
波誘電加熱用の一方の電極12の加工面13に当
接、固定される。
他の成形金型2は、前述の模様外郭部4相当位
置に溶断刃部14を突出させ、該溶断刃部14で
囲まれた領域内において、前記装飾片3の模様輪
郭線15,16相当位置に、複数の押圧刃部1
7,18を突出させられており、前記溶断刃部1
4は受圧型1の周縁基部5に対応し、押圧刃部1
7,18は受圧型1の突出部のうちの突出部9,
10の外方の輪郭部19,20に対応する基準面
21′から突出高さh4,h5,h6とされ、前記溶断
刃部14は受圧型1の周縁基部5との協働で後述
する基材シート21より上外方の熱可塑性合成樹
脂製のシート、フイルム等を溶断でき、また押圧
刃部17,18等は受圧型の突出部9,10と協
働し、前記基材シート21に前記熱可塑性合成樹
脂製のシート、フイルム等を溶着させると共に、
両刃部とも該基材シート21と、後述する硬質熱
可塑性合成樹脂シートとを溶着させうる高さに選
定されている。
また前述の溶断刃部14と押圧刃部17,18
との間は、各刃先面22,23,24から遠ざか
る方向へ、第2図に示される装飾片3の模様の膨
出高さh7,h8,h9より深く凹陥した空所25,2
6,27とされており、高周波誘電加熱の他方の
電極とされている。
以上説明した成形型は、特許請求の範囲第2項
の発明に係るものであるが、この成形型を利用す
る特許請求の範囲第1項の製造方法の発明は、次
に説明するように実施される。
すなわち、電極12の加工面13に固定された
受圧型1の上に、厚さ0.1〜0.3mm程度の硬質塩ビ
等の硬質熱可塑性合成樹脂シート28を重ね、そ
の上に、不織布、メリヤス地等の伸展性を有する
布帛や熱可塑性合成樹脂シート等の基材シート2
1を重ね、更にその上面に、熱可塑性合成樹脂の
発泡シート29を重ね、該シート29の上に、軟
質塩ビ等の熱可塑性合成樹脂フイルム30を重ね
る。
この熱可塑性合成樹脂フイルム30として、裏
面に金属蒸着膜を有し、表面に微細な織目模様状
の凹凸模様を有するフイルムを用いると、得られ
る装飾片3に金または銀モール状の外観を持たせ
ることができる。
前述のように重ねられた資材の上から成形金型
2で押圧し、高周波誘電加熱を行なうと、第1図
に示されるように、溶断刃部14で押圧された部
位の熱可塑性合成樹脂フイルム30と発泡シート
29とは溶断されると共に基材シート21に溶着
され、また硬質熱可塑性合成樹脂シート28も基
材シート21の裏面に溶着される。
また押圧刃部17,18で押圧、加熱された部
位では、前述の重ねられた各資材は、突出部9,
10,11に沿い、前記溶断部位より第1図にお
いて上方位置で各突出部9,10,11に押し付
けられ、互いに溶着される。
第1図に示される受圧型1の場合には、重ねら
れた各資材は、受圧型1の周縁基部5から突出部
9の輪郭部19に至り、更に他の突出部10,1
1の輪郭部20,31に至るように斜行して順次
高くなると共に、発泡シート29の嵩高性によ
り、熱可塑性合成樹脂フイルム30は成形金型2
の各空所25,26,27内へ膨出し、全体とし
て複数段の膨隆形状を呈する。
上述の加工の終了後冷却し、各資材が硬化した
時点で脱型し、模様外郭部4において打ち抜き、
第2図に示されるごとき装飾片3とする。
この装飾片3は、硬質熱可塑性合成樹脂シート
28の保形性能により、第2図に示される膨隆形
状の長期に亘つて保持できる。
第3図は、特許請求の範囲第2項の発明の第2
の実施例であつて、第1の実施例のものと同一材
質の受圧型32の突出部33,34,35が円弧
断面形状の突出部とされており、他方成形金型3
6の溶断刃部37、押圧刃部38,39間の空所
40,41,42が、突出部33,34,35を
間隔を存して内嵌させうる円弧断面形状とされて
おり、受圧型32に向けて成形金型36が押圧さ
れ、両型間に配置された硬質熱可塑性合成樹脂シ
ート、基材シート、熱可塑性合成樹脂フイルムが
突出部33,34,35と空所40,41,42
との間で円弧断面形状に成形されるものである。
この実施例の場合には、発泡シートを使用する
ことなく、成形しても、硬質熱可塑性合成樹脂シ
ート28と基材シート21とは、第2図中鎖線X
で示されるように大きく、深く屈曲した膨出形状
となるものである。
[効果] 本発明は、以上説明した構成、作用のものであ
つて、特許請求の範囲第1項の発明によれば、従
来と同一の工程により、全体として截頭錐体ある
いは欠球状のごとき顕著な立体形状を呈し、しか
も長期に亘つてその立体形状を維持できる装飾片
を容易に成形できる効果を奏する。
また特許請求の範囲第2項の発明によれば、特
許請求の範囲第1項の発明を従来方法と同一の工
程によつて簡単かつ確実に実現でき、任意の立体
的装飾片を形成できる効果を有する。

Claims (1)

  1. 【特許請求の範囲】 1 高周波誘電加熱用の一方の電極の加工面に、
    電気絶縁体よりなり、基部と、該基部から加工面
    と直交する方向に模様の膨出部に対応してそれぞ
    れ段差を存して突出する複数の突出部とを有する
    受圧型を載置し、該受圧型上に、硬質熱可塑性合
    成樹脂シートを重ね、該シート上に伸展性を有す
    る基材シートを重ね、更に該基材シート上に、少
    なくとも熱可塑性合成樹脂フイルムを重ね、該フ
    イルム上から、模様外郭部相当位置に溶断刃部を
    有すると共に、前記受圧型の各突出部の少なくも
    一方の輪郭部に対応する模様輪郭線相当位置に押
    圧刃部を有するところの高周波誘電加熱用の他方
    の電極たる成形金型で押圧し、加熱し、溶着、溶
    断を行ない、冷却後に離型する熱可塑性合成樹脂
    フイルムによる立体的な装飾片の製造方法。 2 電気絶縁体で成形され、模様外郭部に相当す
    る周縁基部と、該周縁基部で囲まれた領域内で、
    模様の膨出部に対応して該周縁基部より突出する
    異なる高さの複数の突出部とからなり、高周波誘
    電加熱用の一方の電極の加工面に載置される受圧
    型と、模様外郭相当位置に溶断刃部を突出させ、
    該溶断刃部で囲まれた領域内の模様輪郭線相当位
    置に複数の押圧刃部を突出させると共に、前記溶
    断刃部は受圧型の周縁基部に対応し、各押圧刃部
    は受圧型の異なる高さの突出部のいずれかの少な
    くとも一方の輪郭部に対応する突出高さとされ、
    各溶断刃部と各押圧刃部との間は、各刃先面から
    遠ざかる方向へ、模様の膨出高さより深く凹陥し
    た空所とされているところの、高周波誘電加熱用
    の他方の電極たる成形金型とよりなる熱可塑性合
    成樹脂フイルムによる立体的な装飾片の成形型。
