Abstract

(57)【要約】 【目的】 被覆部材の有利性を保持しながら、従来の不
利益つまり接触腐食と浸食という問題を回避するために
被覆部材を改良保持して利益を得ることにある。 【構成】 個々の金属フィラメント或いは金属電線、若
しくはその外側をらせん状の被覆部材を有する金属素線
から成る金属コードにおいて、予緊張によって、コード
の周面に存在する金属製でない被覆部材を備えているこ
とを特徴とする金属コードで、好ましくは１つの被覆部
材を有し、この被覆部材が温度の影響の下で収縮する材
料から成り、その周面が緊張によって取り囲まれている
金属コードが良い。さらに好ましくはその材質はポリア
ミドとポリエステルが良い。その形式においてはこの被
覆部材は繊維製のコード或いは金属コード用の織物製の
単一糸を使用することもできる。

【発明の詳細な説明】

【産業上の利用分野】 本発明はその外側をらせん状の
被覆部材が緊張によって取り囲まれている個々の金属フ
ィラメント或いは金属電線又は金属素線から成る金属コ
ードに関するものである。

【従来の技術】 従来公知の金属コード用のらせん状の
被覆部材は金属で構成されており、金属電線或いは金属
帯として配設されている。この被覆部材は特に金属コー
ド部材と一緒になってその役目を果しているので、その
場合はこの電線がらせん状にはなっていない。

【解決しようとする課題】金属製の被覆部材を使用する
ときの不利益は動的な曲げが必要な場合の接触腐食と、
金属製の被覆部材とその金属電線の外側の金属コードと
の間の浸食が問題となり、材料力学的な衰弱が早期に示
される結果となる。
【０００４】本願の課題はその上述の現存する不利益を
避けるために被覆部材を改良して保持する利益を得るこ
とにある。

【課題を解決するための手段】本願発明に従った課題は
請求項１に記載の特徴の個々の金属フィラメント或いは
金属電線、若しくはその外側をらせん状の被覆部材を有
する金属素線から成る金属コードにおいて、予緊張によ
って、コードの周面に存在する金属製でない被覆部材を
備えることによって達成できる。好ましくは１つの被覆
部材を有し、この被覆部材が温度の影響の下で収縮する
材料から成り、その周面が緊張によって取り囲まれてい
る金属コードが良い。さらに好ましくはその材質はポリ
アミドとポリエステルが良い。その形式においてはこの
被覆部材は繊維製のコード或いは金属コード用の織物製
の単一糸を使用することもできる。

【実施例】金属製でないらせん状の被覆部材２を有する
金属コード１を示す。この金属コードはその周囲を緊張
によって取り囲まれている。

【発明の効果】被覆部材の有利性を保持しながら、従来
の不利益つまり接触腐食と浸食という問題を回避するた
めに被覆部材を改良保持して利益を得ることにある。

Claims (5)

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 【請求項１】 個々の金属フィラメント或いは金属電
    線、若しくはその外側をらせん状の被覆部材を有する金
    属素線から成る金属コードにおいて、予緊張によって、
    コードの周面に存在する金属製でない被覆部材を備えて
    いることを特徴とする金属コード。
  2. 【請求項２】 被覆部材が温度の影響の下で収縮する材
    料から成ることを特徴とする請求項１の金属コード。
  3. 【請求項３】 被覆部材がポリアミド或いはポリエステ
    ルから成ることを特徴とする請求項１または請求項２の
    金属コード。
  4. 【請求項４】 被覆部材が少なくとも１つの繊維のコー
    ドで形成されることを特徴とする請求項１から請求項３
    までのいずれかの金属コード。
  5. 【請求項５】 被覆部材が少なくとも１つの織物製の単
    一糸で形成されることを特徴とする請求項１から請求項
    ３までのいずれかの金属コード。
