【目的】 フルキーボード付のプリンタにおいて、その
占有面積を小さくする。 【構成】 キーボード付きプリンタ１０は、横長の三角
柱形状をなすプリンタ本体１２の一角柱面がキーボード
面１４を、また他の一つの角柱面が印字面１６を構成す
る。この場合キーボード面１４と印字面１６とは略直角
の交わりをなす。キーボード面１４には、各種の操作キ
ー１８、１８、…がそのキーボード面に開設された各角
穴２０、２０、…から出没自在に配列されている。そし
て前記印字面１６を下側にして本プリンタ１０を用紙上
に置くと、他の一角柱面に設けられたのぞき窓より、印
字位置を視認できる。

【産業上の利用分野】本発明は、キーボード付きプリン
タに関し、更に詳細には、キーボード面と印字面とがコ
ンパクトに配置されているキーボード付きコンパクトプ
リンタに関するものである。

【従来の技術】図４に示すように印字媒体上に裁置され
て使用され、下面には印字部５４が設けられ、上側より
印字部分を視認可能とした構成が出願されている。この
プリンタは、キー入力操作後に印字部５４の下に紙を置
いてプリンタキーを操作すると、その紙面に入力情報が
プリントアウトされていくというものである。その印字
状態は上から透かして見えるようになっている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】この様なプリンタをタ
イプライタとして使用する場合、フルキーボードを備え
ることが望ましい。しかし、この場合フルキーボードを
有するものはスペースをとる大きな装置となり易く、印
字機構をキーボードの下へ配置させると透かして印字状
態を見る事が出来ない等の欠点が有った。またキー入力
中に印字部を駆動することはなく、又、印字中には、印
字スタートキー以外の入力キーは必要がなかった。

ることが望ましい。しかし、この場合フルキーボードを

題点を解決するためになされたものであり、キーボード
付きプリンタのコンパクト化を図ることを目的としてい
る。

【課題を解決するための手段】この目的を達成するため
に本発明のキーボード付きプリンタは、横長三角柱形状
のプリンタ本体の第１角柱面にキーボード部が設けられ
ると共に第２角柱面には印字部が設けられ第３角柱面に
は、印字面を視認するための視認部を設けてなることを

【作用】上記の構成を有する本発明のキーボード付きコ
ンパクトプリンタによれば、キー入力操作時にはプリン
タ本体のキーボード部が前面にくるようにプリンタ本体
の向きを変えて使用し、印刷時にはプリンタ本体の印字
部が下面にき、且つ視認部が前面にくるようにやはりプ
リンタ本体の向きを変えて使用する。このように本発明
のプリンタは使っている面が常に機能するようにプリン
タ本体の向きを変えて使用されるものである。

【実施例】以下、本発明を具体化した一実施例を図面を
参照して説明する。図１に示すように本実施例のキーボ
ード付きプリンタ１０は、横長の三角柱形状をなすプリ
ンタ本体１２の一角柱面がキーボード面１４を、また他
の一つの角柱面が印字面１６を構成する。この場合キー
ボード面１４と印字面１６とは略直角の交わりをなす。

リンタ本体１２内には各操作キー１８、１８、…の操作
に基づいて機能する制御基板２２が設けられる。また前
記キーボード面１４には操作キー１８により入力した文
字を表示確認できる液晶ディスプレイ２４も設けられて
いる。

に基づいて機能する制御基板２２が設けられる。また前
記キーボード面１４には操作キー１８により入力した文
字を表示確認できる液晶ディスプレイ２４も設けられて
いる。
【０００９】一方前記印字面１６は、図２に示すよう
に、そこに設けられた横長溝状の開口２６に熱転写リボ
ンカセット２８のサーマルヘッド３０が臨設されてい
る。これを図３に基づいて説明すれば、プリンタ本体１
２内のフレーム３２に架設されたガイド軸３４に熱転写
リボンカセット２８が前記開口２６に沿って移動自在に
設けられ、そして該リボンカセット２８は前記フレーム
３２に固設されたステッピングモータ３６により駆動さ
れるように構成されている。

れるように構成されている。
【００１０】前記プリンタ本体１２の前記キーボード面
１４と印字面１６とを除いた他の一角柱面（傾斜面４
０）は、丁度キーボード面１４を前面にもってきたとき
に底面となる面であるが、この面には、図３に示すよう
に、周囲の枠部分を除いて大きなのぞき窓３８が設けら
れ、該のぞき窓３８より前記印字面１６の開口２６を透
視できるようになっている。またこののぞき窓３８を介
して前記リボンカセット２８の交換もできるようになっ
ている。

０）は、丁度キーボード面１４を前面にもってきたとき
に底面となる面であるが、この面には、図３に示すよう
に、周囲の枠部分を除いて大きなのぞき窓３８が設けら
れ、該のぞき窓３８より前記印字面１６の開口２６を透
視できるようになっている。またこののぞき窓３８を介
して前記リボンカセット２８の交換もできるようになっ
ている。
【００１１】しかしてこのように構成されたプリンタ１
０は次のように使用される。初めにキーボード入力をす
る為図１に示す様にプリンタ本体１２の底面４０を下に
してキーボード面１４を前面にし、キー入力を液晶ディ
スプレイ２４を見ながら行なう。そして印字時は図３に
示す様にプリンタ本体１２の向きを変えて次の印字面１
６を下向きにする。

【００１２】そして印字用紙Ｐに１行印字を行なうに
は、サーマルヘッド３０が左端に有る時、キーボード面
１４の印字スタートキー４２を押すとサーマルヘッド３
０とリボンカセット２８は右端へ移行する。その際、底
面４０にはのぞき窓３８が設けられているので印字位置
を確認出来る。又、その窓によりリボンカセット２８の
交換も行える。

体１２の各面１４、１６、４０はそれぞれ特徴が有り、
１４はキー入力面、１６は用紙押え面、４０は印字確認
の窓及び、リボン交換等を行なう面として機能すること
ができる。

【発明の効果】以上説明したことから明かなように、本
発明のキーボード付きコンパクトプリンタによれば、三
角柱体をなすプリンタ本体の向きを変えることでキーボ
ード面を前面にもってきたり、或いは印字面を下に向け
て印字出来るものである。したがって非常にコンパクト
な形状をなし、スペースを取らないという利点がある。

Claims (1)
- 【請求項１】 横長三角柱形状のプリンタ本体の第１角
柱面にキーボード部が設けられると共に第２角柱面には
印字部が設けられ第３角柱面には、印字面を視認するた
めの視認部を設けてなることを特徴とするキーボード付
きコンパクトプリンタ。
