  1. 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 前輪の操舵状態に応じてモータを制御し、ウオ
    ーム減速機を介して後輪を操舵駆動するようにし
    た電動式後輪操舵装置において、 制御システムの異常を検出するシステム異常検
    出手段と、 後輪の操舵方向を検出する操舵方向検出手段と
    、 後輪の中立位置を検出する中立位置検出手段と
    、 前記システム異常検出手段によりシステム異常
    が検出されたとき、前記操舵方向検出手段の検出
    結果に対応して前記モータを後輪中立方向に駆動
    させ、前記中立位置検出手段による中立位置検出
    信号に基づき前記モータを停止させる駆動回路と
    、 を備えたことを特徴とする電動式後輪操舵装置。
