Abstract
Description
Claims (21)
- 1.耐火組成物であり、 少なくとも約50重量パーセントのZrSiO4と、該組成物中にほぼ均一に分 散し少なくとも約1重量パーセントの粒状のジルコニアと、を含む耐火組成物。
- 2.前記ZrSiO4がジルコン粒団の形状である請求項1に記載の耐火組成物 。
- 3.約25重量パーセント以下の粒状のジルコニアを含む請求項1に記載の耐火 組成物。
- 4.約75重量パーセント以上のジルコン粒団を含む請求項1に記載の耐火組成 物。
- 5.約90重量パーセント以上のジルコン粒団と、約10重量パーセント以下の ジルコニア粒子とを含む請求項1に記載の耐火組成物。
- 6.ジルコン粒成長促進組成物をさらに含む請求項1に記載の耐火組成物。
- 7.前記ジルコン粒成長促進組成物が、本質的には、前記耐火組成物の重量の約 2重量パーセント以下を占めるチタニアからなる請求項1に記載の耐火組成物。
- 8.ジルコン粒成長促進組成物をさらに含む請求項2に記載の耐火組成物。
- 9.前記ジルコン粒成長促進組成物が、本質的には、前記耐火組成物の重量の約 2重量パーセント以下を占めるチタニアからなる請求項8に記載の耐火組成物。
- 10.ジルコン粒成長促進組成物をさらに含む請求項5に記載の耐火組成物。
- 11.前記ジルコン粒成長促進組成物が、本質的には、前記耐火組成物の重量の 約2重量パーセント以下を占めるチタニアからなる請求項10に記載の耐火組成 物。
- 12.前記ZrSiO4の半分以上は平均サイズが約10ミクロン以下のジルコ ン粒子として存在する請求項2に記載の耐火組成物。
- 13.本質的にはジルコン粒団と、前記耐火組成物中にほぼ均一に分布するジル コニア粒子と、該耐火組成物中にはぼ均一に分布するジルコン粒成長促進組成物 とからなる請求項2に記載の耐火組成物。
- 14.少なくとも約50重量パーセントの粒状のZrSiO4と、少なくとも約 1重量パーセントの粒状のジルコニアとを含む焼結可能な成分を混合した素地組 成物を一定の形状物に形成する工程と、 該素地組成物形状物を一貫して少なくとも約1400℃の温度に加熱することに より、該組成物を焼結する工程と、を含む、熱衝撃損傷に対する抵抗性の向上し た高密度のジルコン耐火物を調製する方法。
- 15.請求項15に記載した方法により形成される前記焼結耐火物形状物。
- 16.前記焼結可能組成物がさらにジルコン粒成長促進組成物を含み、また前記 ZrSiO4の半分以上が平均粒子サイズが約10ミクロン以下のジルコンによ り提供される請求項14に記載の方法。
- 17.請求項16に記載した方法により形成される前記焼結耐火物形状物。
- 18.前記焼結可能組成物の前記ジルコン粒子が加熱中に成長する請求項17に 記載の焼結耐火物形状物。
- 19.前記焼結可能組成物が、本質的には約75から99重量パーセントのZr SiO4と、1から25重量パーセントの粒状のジルコニアと、必要であれば約 2重量パーセントまでのジルコン粒成長促進組成物とからなる請求項14に記載 の方法。
- 20.請求項19に記載した方法により形成される前記焼結耐火物形状物。
- 21.溶融ガラスまたはアルカリ蒸気との接触のため配置された焼結耐火組成物 形状物を含むガラス溶融炉であり、該形状物の該耐火組成物は少なくとも約50 重量パーセントのZrSiO4と、該組成物中にほぼ均一に分散した粒子形状物 の約1重量パーセントの粒状ジルコニアとを含むガラス溶融炉。
