【発明の詳細な説明】

【産業上の利用分野】この発明は、身体の排泄物を受止
するための使い捨て着用物品に関し、更に詳しくは、物
品の対向側の縦方向へ並列し、弾性収縮力で身体側へ起
き上がる性向を有する複数のフラップを備えた使い捨て
着用物品に関する。
【０００２】
【従来の技術】従来、使い捨てオムツなどの着用物品に
関する特開昭６２ー２５０２０１号公報（第１従来技術
という）において、透液性内面シートと不透液性外面シ
ートとの間に介在した吸液性コアの対向側縁から外側へ
延出し弾性部材が取り付けられたベースフラップ（ガス
ケットカフス）と、それぞれ弾性部材の内側におけるベ
ースフラップの上面から分岐しその自由縁に取り付けら
れた弾性部材の収縮力でその分岐縁から起き上がる性向
を有する第２のフラップ（バリヤカフス）とを備えてい
るものが開示されている。前記ベースフラップは着用者
の大腿に圧接する。前記第２のフラップは、内側へ倒さ
れた状態で縦方向対向端において固定されていて、その
中央部がその収縮力で起き上がる性向を有し、その中央
部の自由縁が着用者の大腿付根に圧接する。
【０００３】また、使い捨てオムツに関する特開昭６２
ー２２３３３号公報（第２従来技術という）において、
透液性内面シートと不透液性外面シートとの間に介在し
た吸液性コアの対向側縁から外側へ延出したベースフラ
ップと、そのベースフラップの上面から分岐しその自由
縁に取り付けられた弾性部材の収縮力でその分岐縁から
起き上がる性向を有する第２のフラップとを備えたもの
が開示されている。前記第２のフラップは、外側へ倒さ
れた状態で縦方向対向端において固定されていて、その
中央部が起き上がる性向を有し、その中央部の自由縁が
着用者の大腿に圧接する。
【０００４】
【発明が解決しようとする課題】前記第１従来技術につ
いて。
【０００５】前記ベースフラップは、平面的に形成され
ていて、周知の使い捨てオムツのフラップのように、そ
の収縮力で大腿側へ緩やかに湾曲してそれに平面的に圧
接するにすぎないので、排泄物の漏れ防止に優れている
とはいえない。
【０００６】大腿付根に圧接する前記第２のフラップは
、これで形成されるポケットが十分に開口して排泄物を
確実に受止することができるように、第２のフラップの
自由縁が大腿付根に常に安定圧接していることが必要で
ある。しかし、第２のフラップは、そのように圧接する
ように、第２のフラップの幅寸法及び剛性に関して配慮
されていない。
【０００７】第２のフラップの自由縁が大腿付根に常に
安定圧接していることが必要であるとしても、その圧接
力が強くてその圧接が比較的長時間に及ぶと、その圧接
部に圧接マークが付いたり、痛みを与えたりするなどの
問題がある。
【０００８】前記第２従来技術について。
【０００９】前記ベースフラップは、弾性収縮性を有し
ておらず、大腿に弾性的に圧接して排泄物の漏れを積極
的に防止する機能を有していない。また、第２のフラッ
プは、そうした機能を有してはいるが、着用者の身体に
対する圧接位置関係から考察すると、第１従来技術のベ
ースフラップに相当する。つまり、第２従来技術は、第
１従来技術の第２のフラップに相当する部材を備えてい
ない。
【００１０】この発明の目的は、第１及び第２従来技術
の第２のフラップに相当する部材を共に設けるとともに
、第１従来技術の第２のフラップに相当する部材に対し
て然るべき前記引張応力、前記幅寸法及び前記剛性を付
与することにより、第１及び第２従来技術が有する前記
問題を解決することができる使い捨て着用物品を提供す
ることにある。

【課題を解決するための手段】前記目的を達成するため
の、この発明に係る着用物品では、吸液性コアの対向側
に第１フラップと、第１フラップよりも内側に第２フラ
ップとを設けるとともに、第１及び第２フラップに弾性
収縮性を付与し、これらがこれらの弾性収縮力で起き上
がるようにする。更に、第２フラップの引張応力を第１
フラップの引張応力よりも弱くし、第２フラップの幅寸
法を第１フラップの幅寸法よりも大きくし、かつ、第２
フラップの剛性を第１フラップの剛性よりも低くする。
【００１２】好ましい実施例では、第１及び第２フラッ
プは、吸液性コアの対向側にこれらの縁から外側へ延出
するベースフラップを設け、これらのベースフラップか
ら分岐させる。この場合、第１及び第２フラップは、互
いに独立させて設けても、互いに連ならせて設けてもよ
い。

【作用】前記構成を有するこの発明に係る着用物品は、
着用状態では、第１フラップの自由縁が着用者の大腿に
弾性的に比較的強く圧接し、かつ、第２フラップの自由
縁が着用者の大腿付根に弾性的に比較的弱く圧接する。 着用者が脚を動かしたとき、第１フラップの自由縁は大
腿の皮膚上を摺動するが、通常、第２フラップの自由縁
は大腿付根に固定された状態を維持する。

【実施例】図面を参照して、この発明に係る着用物品の
実施例を、使い捨てオムツを例にとって説明すると、以
下のとおりである。
【００１５】図１ないし図３に示すように、オムツ１０
は、透液性内面シート１１と、不透液性外面シート１２
と、吸液性コア１３と、両側にそれぞれ位置する、ベー
スフラップ１４、第１フラップ１５及び第２フラップ１
６とを有している。ベースフラップ１４は、コア１３の
外側縁から外側方向へ延出し互いに接着剤又は溶着（超
音波溶着を含む）で接合する内外面シート部分１７，１
８から成っている。
【００１６】第１及び第２フラップ１５，１６は、通気
不透液性シート１９から成り、シート１９のほぼ中央部
がベースフラップ１４の上面に接着剤又は溶着（超音波
溶着を含む）で接合している。更に、第１フラップ１５
は、シート１９の一部から形成されたスリーブ部２０の
自由縁内に、その長さ方向への伸長下に取り付けられた
弾性部材２１で弾性伸縮化され、その弾性伸縮力でベー
スフラップ１４上における分岐縁２２を支点として上方
向へ起き上がる性向を有している。第２フラップ１６は
、自由縁に形成されたスリーブ部２３内に、その長さ方
向への伸長下に取り付けられたもう一つの弾性部材２４
で弾性伸縮化され、その弾性伸縮力でベースフラップ１
４上の、分岐縁２２と内側へ適宜離れたもう一つの分岐
縁２５を支点として起き上がる性向を有している。第１
フラップ１５は、起き上がり状態で、かつ、内側へ倒さ
れた状態で、その長さ方向対向端部２６において接着剤
又は溶着（超音波溶着を含む）でベースフラップ１４上
に接合固定されている。ただし、第１フラップ１５は、
起き上がり状態で、かつ、外側へ倒された状態で、その
長さ方向対向端部２６においてベースフラップ１４上に
接合固定されてもよい。一方、第２フラップ１６は、起
き上がり状態で、かつ、内側へ倒された状態で、その長
さ方向対向端部２７において接着剤又は溶着（超音波溶
着を含む）でベースフラップ１４及びコア１３上に接合
固定され、これによって比較的深いポケット３３が形成
されている。第１及び２フラップ１５，１６は、それぞ
れの長さ方向対向端部２６，２７の間の中央部が前記起
き上がり性向を有しているが、その長さ方向へほぼ引張
限界まで引っ張られると、内側へ倒れる。もとより、第
１フラップ１５が、起き上がり状態で、かつ、外側へ倒
された状態で、その長さ方向対向端部２６においてベー
スフラップ１４上に接合固定されている場合には、その
長さ方向へほぼ引張限界まで引っ張られと、外側へ倒れ
る。
【００１７】第２フラップ１６の引張応力は、第２フラ
ップ１６の着用者の皮膚に対する収縮圧接が比較的長時
間に及んでも、その圧接局部に圧接マークが付いたり、
痛みを与えたりすることがないように、第１フラップ１
５の引張応力よりも弱くされている。一般に、弾性部材
２１の引張応力は１００〜３００ｇ　にされる。オムツ
１０又は胴体もしくは大腿が動いても、大腿付根に圧接
する第２フラップ１６の自由縁２９にこれが移動するよ
うな動きが伝わらず、その動きが吸収又は減殺されるよ
うに、第２フラップ１６の分岐縁２５と自由縁２９との
間の幅（高さ）寸法Ｗ２　は、第１フラップ１５の分岐
縁２２と自由縁２８との間の幅（高さ）寸法Ｗ１　より
も大きくされ、かつ、第２フラップ１６の剛性は、第１
フラップ１５のそれよりも低くされている。例えば、第
１フラップ１５の幅寸法Ｗ１　は２０〜３５ｍｍ、第２
フラップ１６の幅寸法Ｗ２　は３０〜１００ｍｍの範囲
で選ばれ、かつ、第２フラップ１６の長さ方向、幅方向
におけるＪＩＳーＰ８１４３による測定値はそれぞれ１
００ｍｍ以下、６０ｍｍ以下にされる。第１フラップ１
５における同測定値は、従来一般に実施されている使い
捨てオムツのサイドフラップのそれとほぼ同じである。 両分岐縁２２，２５間の幅寸法Ｗ３　は第１フラップ１
５の幅寸法Ｗ１　よりも大きくないことが好ましい。分
岐縁２５はコア１３の外側縁に近接又は接触していても
よい。
【００１８】図４に示す実施例のベースフラップ１４に
おいては、内面シート部分１７が外面シート部分１８よ
りも幅狭く形成され、換言すると、外面シート部分１８
が内面シート部分１７の外側縁から延出するようにベー
スフラップ１４が形成されている。内面シート部分１７
が位置していない外面シート部分１８に第１及び第２フ
ラップ１５，１６を形成するシート１９の一部が接合し
ている。この実施例においては、内面シート１１の幅が
外面シート１２のそれよりも狭くてすむので、内面シー
ト１１を節減できるうえ、不透液性である外面シート部
分１８に不透液性である第１及び第２フラップ１５，１
６の素材シート１９が、それらの間に透液性である内面
シート部分１７が介在することなく接合しているので、
体液が内面シート部分１７に浸透拡散したとしても、ベ
ースフラップ１４の外側縁から漏れることがない。
【００１９】図５及び図６に示す実施例の第１及び第２
フラップ１５，１６は、互いに異なるシート１９ａ，１
９ｂから形成されている。第１及び第２フラップ１５，
１６の耐水圧値（不透液性）は、前者が高く後者が低く
されている。第１及び第２フラップ１５，１６並びにベ
ースフラップ１４の他の構成は、図３及び図４の実施例
と実質的に同じである。
【００２０】図７に示す実施例においては、コア１３の
外側縁と第１フラップ１５の分岐縁２２との間における
内外面シート部分１７，１８間に比較的薄くて可撓性の
高い吸収層３０が介在している。図８に示す実施例にお
いては、第１及び第２フラップ１５，１６の分岐縁２２
，２５間における内面シート部分１７とシート１９ｂの
間に比較的薄くて可撓性の高い吸収層３１が介在してい
る。これらの実施例においては、少なくとも両分岐縁２
２，２５間に吸液性を付与し、第１及び第２フラップ１
５，１６間に、一時的ではあっても、滞留することがあ
る体液を吸収層３０，３１に吸収させるようにしてある
。
【００２１】図１に示すように、オムツ１０は、背側に
おけるベースフラップ１４には感圧性粘着剤が塗布され
たテープファスナー３２が６取り付けられている。オム
ツ１０は、テープファスナー３２の自由端を前側におけ
る外面シート１２に接着して組み立てて着用することが
できる。
【００２２】内面シート１１には、繊維不織布・多孔性
プラスチックフィルムなど、外面シート１２には、プラ
スチックフィルム・該フィルムと不織布とのラミネート
シートなどが用いられる。このラミネートシートの場合
には不織布が外面に位置するように用いられる。また、
外面シート１２としてのプラスチックフィルムは、通気
不透液性を有するものが好ましい。コア１３には、フラ
ッフパルプに高吸収性ポリマー粒子を混合又は混合しな
いマット状体の少なくとも上下面を透水性シートで被覆
したものが用いられ、そして、このような素材から作ら
れた形態を有するがゆえにいわば半剛性である。もとよ
り、コア１３は、内面シート１１及び／又は外面シート
１２に接着剤で比較的不動に接合される。弾性部材２１
，２４には、糸状又はテープ状のゴム、テープ状のプラ
スチックフォーム、熱処理で弾性伸縮性を示すプラスチ
ックフィルムなどが用いられる。第１及び第２フラップ
１５，１６には、撥水剤で処理された不織布が用いられ
る。ただし、場合によっては、第２フラップ１６には、
特にその内面には界面活性剤処理で親水性を付与される
こともあり、第２フラップ１９は、固形排泄物の流出を
阻止できる機能を有しておればよく、必ずしも不透液性
材料から形成されている必要がない。吸収層３０，３１
には、フラッフパルプに高吸収性ポリマー粒子を混合又

【００２３】前記構成を有するオムツ１０の組み立て状
態においては、図１，２，３に示すように、第１及び第
２フラップ１５，１６は、それぞれの自由縁２８，２９
に位置する弾性部材２１，２４の弾性収縮力によりそれ
ぞれの分岐縁２２，２５を支点ラインとして上方向（着
用者の身体側）へ起き上がる。このとき、第１及び第２
フラップ１５，１６が、それぞれの分岐縁２２，２５の
部位で倒Ｔ字状に、ベースフラップ１４に交差又はベー
スフラップ１４に対して屈折していることから、弾性部
材２１，２４の弾性収縮力が、そのままの強い力で、分
岐縁２２，２５からベースフラップ１４の外側方向へ伝
達することが少ない。従って、分岐縁２２，２５が存在
しない場合に比較して弾性部材２１，２４の弾性収縮力
がベースフラップ１４の外側部に強く伝達して該外側部
に皺を派生することが少ない。
【００２４】
【発明の効果】請求項１及び３に記載の発明によれば、
第２フラップの引張応力が第１フラップのそれよりも弱
くされているので、第２フラップの着用者の皮膚に対す
る圧接が比較的長時間に及んでも、その圧接部に圧接マ
ークが付いたり、痛みを与えたりすることがない。
【００２５】また、第２フラップの分岐縁と自由縁との
間の幅（高さ）寸法が第１フラップの分岐縁と自由縁と
の間のそれよりも大きくされ、かつ、第２フラップの剛
性が第１フラップのそれよりも低くされているので、物
品又は胴体もしくは大腿が動いても、大腿付根に圧接す
る第２フラップの自由縁にこれが移動するような動きが
伝わらず、その動きが吸収又は減殺される。従って、第
２フラップの自由縁が大腿付根に安定圧接する状態が保
たれ、その結果、第２フラップで形成されたポケットが
常に開口状態を保たれ、排泄物、特に固形排泄物がその
ポケットに十分に受止される。何らかの原因で第２フラ
ップを外側へ越えた排泄物は、第１フラップで外部への
流動を防止され、漏れることがない。
【００２６】請求項２に記載の発明によれば、第１及び
第２フラップの分岐縁間のベースフラップ上に吸収層が
設けられているので、第１及び第２フラップ間に介在す
ることがある排泄液がその吸収層に吸収され、前記漏れ
防止が一層有効になる。

Claims (3)

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 【請求項１】　　透液性内面シートと不透液性外面シー
    トとの間に位置した吸液性コアの対向側に、これらの縦
    方向へ並列し、弾性収縮性を有する第１及び第２フラッ
    プを備えた使い捨て着用物品において、前記第１フラッ
    プが前記コアの対向側で分岐しその弾性収縮力でその分
    岐縁から起き上がる性向を有し、前記第２フラップが第
    １フラップの分岐縁よりも内側で分岐しその収縮力でそ
    の分岐縁から起き上がる性向を有し、前記第２フラップ
    の引張応力が前記第１フラップの引張応力よりも弱く、
    前記第２フラップの前記分岐縁とその自由縁との間の幅
    寸法が第１フラップの前記分岐縁とその自由縁との間の
    幅寸法よりも大きく、かつ、前記第２フラップの剛性が
    前記第１フラップの剛性よりも低いことを特徴とする前
    記着用物品。
  2. 【請求項２】　　前記コアの側縁から外側へ延出したベ
    ースフラップを有し、前記ベースフラップから前記第１
    フラップ及び前記第２フラップがそれぞれ分岐し、これ
    ら分岐縁間における前記ベースフラップの上面を前記第
    ２フラップの一部が被覆し、その一部とその一部の下面
    に位置した前記ベースフラップの一部との間に吸液性層
    が介在している請求項１記載の着用物品。
  3. 【請求項３】前記第１フラップが内外側のいずれかへ倒
    され、かつ、前記第２フラップが内側へ倒され、それぞ
    れ倒された状態で縦方向対向端において固定されている
    請求項１記載の着用物品。
