Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 〔産業上の利用分野〕 樹脂シートを加熱し、加工する装置に関するものである
〔従来の技術〕
第2図に示す様に、電気溶着式管継手■には、樹脂シー
ト上を組込んでいる。この樹脂シート1は、例えば、ポ
リエチレンのベース7に螺線状に、加熱用ワイヤ9が設
けてあり、電気溶着式管継手工を樹脂パイプ25に接合
する際には、ワイヤに通電し、樹脂シート上を加熱、熔
融し、接合するのである。この樹脂シート上の表面には
、複数の突起を設け、裏面は、平面である。この樹脂シ
ート1に成形するために従来は、第7図に示す様に、テ
ーブル13に樹脂シート上裏面を固定し、上方から、ヒ
ータ10を樹脂シート上の突起8に押し圧し、熔融し、
ワイヤ9を固定していた。
テーブル13には、押え板14を設けて樹脂シート上を
固定する。樹脂シート上の材質は、融点140℃程度の
ポリエチレンである。樹脂シート上には、第3図に示す
様に、比較的薄い円盤状のベース7に、ベース7の厚み
の3倍程度の直径で、ベース7厚みの4倍程度の高さの
複数の突起8を設け、突起8にベース7の厚みと同程度
の直径のワイヤ9を引っ掛けながら巻線している。ヒー
タ10には、ヒータ温度を一定に保つ温度調節器11と
加圧器12 (例えばエアシリンダ)を設けている。
この装置で、押え板14を用い樹脂シート上をテーブル
13に固定し、樹脂シート1の融点〜融点+50℃の温
度の間で、一定の温度に調節したヒータ10を加圧器1
2で、突起8に20〜30g / tx ”の圧力で、
20〜30秒間押し圧し、突起8長さの2/3程度を熔
融し、第5図に示す様に、ワイヤ9を覆い、ヒータ10
を樹脂シート1から離し、熔融した突起8を自然冷却し
て、ワイヤ9を固定する。
〔発明が解決しようとする問題点〕
ところが、この様な装置においては、ヒータ10を突起
8に押し圧し、加熱し、突起8長さの273程度を熔融
する際に、熱輻射により、ベース7も加熱する。このた
め、ベース7が軟化し、ヒータ10を離して自然冷却す
る際に、ベース7が収縮し、樹脂シート1は、第6図に
示すように波形、あるいは、凹状に、ベース7厚みの1
0〜20倍程度厚さ方向に変形する。この様に変形した
樹脂シート1を電気溶着式管継手6に組込むと、接合面
である樹脂シート1の裏面と樹脂パイプ25との隙間が
大きく、接合できないという問題があった。また、テー
ブル13上の樹脂シート上を交換する際に、押え板14
を数ケ所説着するため、時間がかかるという問題もあっ
た。
本発明の目的は、突起8を加圧熔融してワイヤ9を固定
する際に、樹脂シート1の変形を、継手として使用でき
る範囲(ベース7厚みの4倍以下の変形)に押え、突起
8のみを安定に且つ確実に熔融させてワイヤ9を固定す
る装置を提供し、また、樹脂シート上の交換もワンタン
チで迅速にできる装置を提供することである。
〔問題点を解決するための手段〕
本発明は、樹脂シートを装着するテーブル裏面に、冷却
媒体で冷却する冷却器を配置し、テーブルの温度によっ
て冷却媒体の流量を調節して、テーブルの温度を制御し
、さらに望ましくは、テーブル表面に、樹脂シートを真
空吸着する手段を設けたことを特徴とする樹脂シート加
熱加工装置である。
〔作用〕
冷却手段で、テーブル13を一定温度に冷却し、樹脂シ
ートiを真空吸着で、テーブル13に固定する。テーブ
ル13は、樹脂シー)1のベース7を冷却する。ヒータ
10を樹脂シート1の突起8に押し圧し、突起8長さの
2/3程度のみを熔融し、ワイヤ9を覆う。ヒータ10
を離し、熔融した突起8を自然冷却して、ワイヤ9を固
定する。
この時、樹脂シートlのベース7を冷却しているために
、ヒータlOの熱輻射があっても、ベース7は熱変形す
る温度に上昇せず、自然冷却の際に変形しない。
〔実施例) 本発明に係わる樹脂シート加熱加工装置を第1図〜第6
図及び、第8図に基づいて説明する。
第1面において、樹脂シート1の下面に、テーブルユを
設け、樹脂シート上の上方に、加熱器1を設ける。テー
ブルユには、冷却手段を設け、さらに望ましくは、樹脂
シート1を固定する面に、真空チャック板4を設ける。
第3図に示す様に、融点140℃程度のポリエチレン製
樹脂シート上は、比較的薄い円盤状のへ一スフと、螺線
状にベース7厚みの3倍程度の直径でベース7厚みの4
倍程度の高さの複数の突起8で構成し、ベース7厚みと
同程度の直径のワイヤ9を引っ掛けながら巻線している
。加熱器2には、ヒータ10にヒータ温度調節器11を
設け、ヒータ10の上面には、加圧器12(例えばエア
シリンダ)を設ける。テーブル3の樹脂シート1を固定
する側には、熱伝導率の高い材質(例えばアルミニウム
、鉄)を用い、裏面には、断熱材で構成した容器17(
例えば発泡樹脂)に入れた冷却液18(例えばエチレン
コール)を接触させている。
冷却液18を冷却器19.ポンプ20.電磁弁21を用
いて循環させる。電磁弁21には、テーブル1の樹脂シ
ート工固定面近くに側面から嵌入して設けた熱電対22
と冷却温度調節器23が付随する。真空チャック板4に
は、樹脂シート1を吸着する面に、同心円状、放射状、
または、格子状に巾2〜311mの溝16を設け、真空
ポンプ5が付随している。溝16の開口部総面積は、吸
着面積の5〜20%程度が良い。
次に作用について説明する。冷却液18を冷却器19で
冷却し、ポンプ20で加圧し、テーブル主に嵌入して設
けた熱電対22で、テーブル主の樹脂シート上付近の温
度を測定し、冷却温度調節器23で、電磁弁21を開閉
し、冷却した冷却液18の量を調節し、テーブル3の温
度を0〜5℃に保つ。樹脂シート上を真空チャック板4
の溝16のある面に静置し、真空ポンプ5を作動させる
次に溝16の内部を真空にすると、樹脂シート上を吸着
して密着し、ベース7を冷却する。ヒータ温度調節器1
1でヒータ10を、樹脂シート上の融点〜融点+50℃
の温度の間で一定に保つ。ヒータ10を加圧器12で、
樹脂シート上の突起8に押し圧し第8図に示す様に、突
起8の長さの上部2/3程度の部分8aのみを熔融し、
ベース7は、冷却しているため、ヒータ10の熱輻射が
あっても熱変形する温度にならない、また、突起下部1
/3程度の部分8bは、ヒータ10の加熱温度とベース
7の冷却温度が、均衡を失した際の余地の部分である。
次に、熔融した突起8で、第5図に示す様にワイヤ9を
覆う。次にヒータ10を上方に離し、熔融した突起8を
冷却し、ワイヤ9を固定する。次に真空ポンプ5を停止
し、真空チャック4の溝16を大気圧にもどし、加工の
終った樹脂シート1を取り出す。
本実施例においては、螺線状に設けた複数の突起を加熱
加工する装置について記載したが、ベースに螺装状の溝
を設け、ワイヤを巻線した樹脂シートでも、本発明装置
が、支障なく適用できる。
〔発明の効果〕
従来、ヒータを突起に押し圧し、加熱し、熔融し、ワイ
ヤを固定する際に、ヒータの熱輻射でベースも加熱し、
軟化し、突起を冷却する際に、ベースが収縮し、波形、
あるいは凹形に変形していたが、本発明によれば、突起
を加熱する際、ベースを均一に冷却しているため、ヒー
タの熱輻射があってもベースは、熱変形する温度まで上
昇せず、変形をベース厚みの4倍以下に押え、樹脂シー
トを継手として使用できる。また、加熱加工後の樹脂シ
ートの交換もワンタッチで迅速にできる。

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. (1)樹脂ベースに複数の突起を設け、ワイヤを引っ掛
    け、上から加熱、熔融し、ワイヤを固定する樹脂シート
    加熱加工装置において、樹脂シートを装着するテーブル
    裏面に、冷却媒体で冷却する冷却器を配置し、テーブル
    の温度によって冷却媒体の流量を調節して、テーブルの
    温度を制御するようにしたことを特徴とする樹脂シート
    加熱加工装置。
  2. (2)テーブル表面に、樹脂シートを真空吸着する手段
    を設けたことを特徴とする、請求項(1)に記載の樹脂
    シート加熱加工装置。
