Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 ［発明の目的］ （産業上の利用分野） 本発明は、例えば自動車等の座席上に保持され、乗車す
る子供を子供用拘束ベルトにより拘束する子供用拘束シ
ートに関する。
（従来の技術） 従来、自動車等の座席には成人用シートベルトが設けら
れており、衝突等の緊急時には乗員を座席に拘束するこ
とにより安全を確保するようにしている。
ところで、上記成人用シートベルトは一定の体格を備え
た成人を拘束対象として想定しているために、特に子供
等の身体の小さい乗員に対する配慮はなされていない。
このような事情を考慮して、上記既設の成人用シートベ
ルトによって保持される子供用シートと、この子供用シ
ートに着座する子供を拘束可能な子供用拘束ベルトとを
備えた子供用拘束シートが従来から普及している。
（発明が解決しようとする課題） ところが、上記子供用拘束シートに拘束されるような子
供は、通常該拘束状態を享受するような分別はなく、拘
束ベルトを外そうとしたり、立ち上ろうとしたりあるい
は泣いたり騒いだりして嫌がる場合が多い。
このため、同乗者は拘束されている子供に話しかけたり
、興味を引きそうな音楽や物語り等を車載されているカ
セットテープ装置等から流したりする必要がある。
例えば運転者が拘束されている子供に話しかける場合等
では該運転者の運転に向けるべき注意力が殺がれ、他方
、カセットテープ装置から上記物語り等を流したりする
場合には同乗者の迷惑となる。ましてや上記事態を放置
する場合には、緊急時において子供の安全を確保できな
いという問題がある。
そこで本発明は、着座した子供だけに音を伝達できる子
供用拘束シートの提供を目的とする。
［発明の構成］ （課題を解決するための手段） 上記目的を達成するための本発明の構成は、前述した子
供用拘束シートにおいて、前記子供用シートに音を発す
る発音手段を設けたものとしている。この場合、着座す
る子供の耳の位置を予め想定し、その近傍に発音手段を
設けることが好ましい。また、上記発音手段として、記
録媒体に記録された音を再生する再生部と、この再生さ
れた音を発音する発音部とを備えたものがよい。
さらに、前記子供用シートに着座する子供の有無を検知
する検知部を設け、この検知部の検出結果により発音手
段からの発音の開始又は停止を行なわせるようにしても
よい。
（作　用） 上記構成を備えた本発明の作用は、子供用シートに発音
手段を設けであるので、着座している子供だけに音を聞
かせることができるようにしている。従って、子供の拘
束ベルトによる拘束状態を維持できるようになる。
（実施例） 以下、本発明について図面を参照して説明する。
第１図（ａ）、（ｂ）は発音手段を取り付けた子供用拘
束シートの一実施例を示すそれぞれ外観斜視図である。
同図に示す子供用拘束シート１は、着座部４と背もたれ
部３とを備え、全体を硬質の合成樹脂材料から一体成型
された座席２と、この座席２を矢印Ａ方向で回動自在に
支持する支持台５とを備えた子供用シート１８と、この
子供用シート１８に着座する子供を拘束可能な子供用拘
束ベルト８゜８とを有している。
このうち座席２は、着座部４と背もたれ部３の両側部分
をそれぞれ起立させた起立部２ａ、２ｂを設けられ、ま
た、着座部４の中央部であって解放端部側は凹部４ａが
形成されている。そして、この凹部４ａには子供用拘束
ベルト８，８の解放部側に設けられているトングを連結
するバックル６が固定されている。
ざらに該着座部４の裏面には、前記子供用拘束ベルト８
，８の他端部を取り付けられ、緊急時に加わる加速度に
より、該子供用拘束ベルト８，８をロックする緊急ロッ
ク機構を備えたベルトリトラクタ７が取付られている（
第１図（ｂ）参照）。
他方、前記背もたれ部３には第１図（ｂ）に示すように
、子供用拘束ベルト８，８を挿通する挿通孔１２，１２
が複数形成されており、ベルトリトラクタ７から引き出
された子供用拘束ベルト８゜８は、該背もたれ部３の裏
面３ｂから該挿通孔１２．１２を介して表面３ａに導出
される。
この導出された子供用拘束ベルト８，８の解放端部には
、前述した着座する子供の腹部及び胸部を保護するほぼ
三角形状のパッド１３が取り付けられ、このパッド１３
には前述したバックル６に連結されるトング（図示しな
い）が取り付けられている。
従って、座席２に着座する子供は子供用拘束ベルト８，
８及びパッド１３により確実に拘束されることになる。
ところで、本実施例に示す座席２には、着座する子供の
耳の位置を予め想定し、その近傍に音を発する発音手段
の一部を設けている。
第２図は上記発音手段の構成を示す構成ブロック図であ
る。
同図に示す発音手段は、スイッチ類からなる操作部１５
と、例えばコンパクトディスク、カセットテープ又はＲ
ＡＭ　（ランダムアクセスメモリ）等の記録媒体に記録
された音を再生する再生部１６と、この再生信号を増幅
する増幅部１７と、この増幅された再生信号を音波に変
換して発音する例えばスピーカ等の発音部１０と、図示
しない電源とを有している。
このうちスピーカ１０．１０は、背もたれ部２ａ、２ｂ
の両側に形成された起立部２ａ、２ｂの上部であって着
座する子供の耳に向かってそれぞれ取り付けられている
。従って、上述したスピーカ１０．１０は子供に聞こえ
る程度の出力を備えたものでよい。尚、上記操作部１５
．再生部１６、増幅部１７は前記着座部４の片側に形成
された起立部２ａ内に配置されている。
また、本実施例では座席２の着座部４に子供が着座した
際の圧力を検知して子供の有無を検知する検知部１４を
備え、発音手段は該検知部１４の検出結果により発音の
開始又は停止を行うようにしている。尚、この検知部１
４は必要に応じて設ければよく、同乗者の手動により起
動させてもよい。
ところで、本実施例における適当な音としては、子供の
興味を引くような音楽であるとか心臓の鼓動の音、ある
いは子供用番組を録音したもの等が考えられる。
以上のように構成された子供用拘束シートの作用、効果
について第３図をも参照して説明する。
第３図に示すように子供Ｍを座席２に着座させると、検
知部１４により圧力の変化が検出されて再生部１６が起
動される。これによりスピーカ１０．１０から予めセツ
ティングされた音楽等が流れ始める。この場合、スピー
カ１０．１０は子供の耳の近傍に配置されるので小出力
でよく、当該子供だけに聞こえるようにすることができ
る。
従って、他の同乗者にその内容は聞こえず、耳障りとな
ることがない。
このようにして、拘束されている子供Ｍはスピーカ１０
．１０から流れる音楽等に注意力を奪われて拘束されて
いる状態をしばし忘却し、拘束ベルトを外そうとしたり
、立ち上ろうとしたりあるいは泣いたり騒いだりするこ
とを減少させることができる。この結果、子供用拘束ベ
ルトにより拘束された状態となっているので、緊急時の
子供の安全を確保することもできるようになる。
尚、本発明は上記一実施例に限定されるものではなく、
その要旨の範囲内において様々に変形実施が可能である
。
例えば前記実施例では、スピーカは背もたれ部２ａ、２
ｂの両側に形成された起立部２ａ、２ｂの上部であって
着座する子供の耳に向かってそれぞれ取り付けられてい
たが、該背もたれ部の中間部分に設けてもよい。ざらに
、発音手段としては、オルゴール、ラジオ等でおっても
よい。このような構成とした場合であっても前記と同様
の効果を得ることができる。
［発明の効果］ 以上詳述した本発明によれば、着座した子供だけに音を
伝達できる子供用拘束シートの提供ができる。

Claims (4)

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. （１）乗物の座席上に載置され、既設の成人用シートベ
    ルトによつて保持される子供用シートと、この子供用シ
    ートに着座する子供を拘束可能な子供用拘束ベルトとを
    備えた子供用拘束シートにおいて、前記子供用シートに
    音を発する発音手段を設けたことを特徴とする子供用拘
    束シート。
  2. （２）前記発音手段は、着座する子供の耳の位置を予め
    想定し、その近傍に設けられたものである請求項１記載
    の子供用拘束シート。
  3. （３）前記発音手段は、記録媒体に記録された音を再生
    する再生部と、この再生された音を発音する発音部とを
    備えたものである請求項１又は２に記載の子供用拘束シ
    ート。
  4. （４）前記子供用拘束シートは、この子供用シートに着
    座する子供の有無を検知する検知部を備え、発音手段は
    検知部の検出結果により発音の開始又は停止を行うもの
    である請求項１乃至３のいづれかに記載の子供用拘束シ
    ート。
