Description

【考案の詳細な説明】 〔技術分野〕 この考案は、テニス、バドミントン等のラケツ
トのガツトに関する。
〔背景技術〕
ラケツトのフレーム内側に張設されるガツト
は、その交差部分における接触面が、打球時の衝
撃やガツト同志の擦れ合いのために、第１図にみ
るように、摩耗することがあつた。また、前記交
差部分における外側面においても打球時の衝撃の
ために摩耗することがあつた。
ガツト１のこのような摩擦部分２は、その摩耗
の程度によつてガツト１の使用を継続することを
可能とさせたり、不可能とさせたりする。
しかしながら、従来は、ガツトの摩耗部分を見
ただけでは、ガツトの張り替え時期を正確に知る
ことができなかつた。そのために、プレー中に、
ガツトが切れてしまうというような不都合な事態
が頻繁に生じていた。
〔考案の目的〕
そこで、この考案は、張り替え時期を正確に知
ることができるガツトを提供することを目的とす
る。
〔考案の開示〕
考案者は、上記の目的を達成するために鋭意検
討を重ね、この考案を完成した。
この考案は、ラケツトのフレーム内側に交差状
に張設され打球面を作るガツトにおいて、外層か
ら内層にかけて半径方向にそれぞれ異なる色で３
色以上の色分けがなされていることを特徴とする
ガツトをその要旨とする。以下、これを、その実
施例をあらわす図面に基づいて詳しく説明する。
この考案にかかるガツトは、従来と同様、ラケ
ツトのフレーム内側に交差状に張設され打球面を
作るものである。第２図および第３図にみるよう
に、このガツト３は、外層を作合糸３ａ……の糸
群と中間層を作る糸３ｂ……の糸群と内層たる芯
糸３ｃとから形成されている。糸３ｂ……の糸群
は、各糸３ｂが芯糸３ｃを螺旋状に巻回するよう
にして装着されている。また、糸３ａ……の糸群
は、上記芯糸３ｃに装着された糸３ｂ……の糸群
に対して、各糸３ａがそれを螺旋状に巻回するよ
うにして装着されたものである。そして、芯糸３
ｃ上に巻回された糸３ｂ……の糸群と糸３ａ……
の糸群に対して、樹脂４によるコーテイングがな
されている。このガツト３は、外層たる糸３ａ…
…の糸群から、中間層たる糸３ｂ……の糸群を経
て内層たる芯糸３ｃにかけて色分けがなされてい
る。その色分けは、例えば、外層を青色とし、中
間層を黄色とし、内層を赤色とするものである。
そうすると、ガツト３に第２図にみるような摩耗
部分５が生じたときには、外層の糸３ａ……の色
とは異なる色が露出して来るため、摩耗の程度を
正確に知ることができる。
このように、前記外層の色と異なる色の部分が
ガツト破断の可能性を知らせる信号となるので、
ガツトの張り替え時期を正確に知ることができ
る。例えば、プレーの最中にガツトが破断するこ
とを事前に察知することができるため、予め別の
ラケツトや新しい糸を用意しておくことができ
る。また、前述したように、ガツトが外層から内
層にかけて青→黄→赤と３色に色分けされている
ならば、各層の色の持つイメージが交通信号灯の
青→黄→赤の各色の持つ意味と重なるようにな
り、例えば、ガツトの摩耗部分が青ならまだ大丈
夫で、黄なら張り替え時期が近いという注意を喚
起させることになる結果、赤なら直ぐにも切れそ
うなので張り替えなさいというように、信号の働
きをするようになる。したがつて、プレーヤーに
対してガツト張り替えの必要性を的確な時期に強
くアピールすることになるのである。
この考案にかかるガツトは、あらゆる構成のガ
ツトをも含むものである。例えば、第４図にみる
ように、芯糸５ｃと、芯糸５ｃを螺旋状に巻回す
る糸５ｂの糸群と、前記糸群に対する樹脂コーテ
イング層５ａとからなるガツト５も含む。このガ
ツト５は、前記芯糸５ｃ，糸５ｂ……、樹脂コー
テイング層５ａがそれぞれ異なる色をなすように
色分けされている。このように、色分けにおい
て、糸の部分だけでなく、コーテイング部分が使
用されても構わない。また、この考案にかかるガ
ツトには、第５図にみるように、フイラメントの
縦糸群（マルチフイラメント）からなる芯材８
と、この芯材８をコーテイングする樹脂コーテイ
ング層７とからなるガツト６も含まれる。このガ
ツト６は、芯材８が内部側の糸８ｂと外部側の糸
８ａとを色違いにしており、樹脂コーテイング層
７の色も違えている。
この考案にかかるガツトにおいて色分けに使用
される色に特別の制限はない。しかし、色は、は
つきり見えるようにするために、完全不透明な色
であることが好ましい。色はガツトを構成する糸
の素材たる樹脂に原液着色されているのが普通で
あるが、紡糸後の染着されていても構わない。た
だし、色分けの層数は、外層から内層にかけて半
径方向に３層以上あることが必要である。
この考案にかるガツトにおいて、内層として使
用される芯糸は、ポリアミド繊維からなつている
のが普通である。しかし、ガツトの振動周期を短
くして打球に対する反発力を強めるために前記ポ
リアミド繊維にポリエステル繊維が混入されてな
るものであつても良い。また、ケブラー（デユポ
ン社製）等の芳香族ポリアミドからなつていても
構わない。なお、芯糸の中心部分が中空になつて
おり、あるいはそこにガツトの油切れ防止等の目
的のための油が充填されていても構わない。
中間層や外層として使用される糸は、ポリアミ
ド繊維やポリエステル繊維からなつているのが普
通である。あるいは、ケプラー（デユポン社製）
からなつていても良い。糸は、実施例のように内
側の層に対して巻回されるようにして装着される
ほか、編まれた状態や組まれた状態で内側の層に
装着されていても良い。
実施例では、内層や中間層に巻回された糸群が
樹脂でコーテイングされていた。コーテイング
は、ポリアミド樹脂等を熱融着するようにして行
われる。しかしながら、コーテイングは必ずしも
行われる必要はない。なお、ポリアミド樹脂コー
テイングに際しては、内層や中間層に対して予め
ポリアミド樹脂が混入されたフエノール樹脂を塗
布しておき、そこに糸群を接着させるようにし
て、糸群の接着性を高くするようにしても良い。
〔考案の効果〕
この考案にかるガツトは、ラケツトのフレーム
内側に交差状に張設され打球面を作るガツトにお
いて、外層から内層にかけて半径方向にそれぞれ
異なる色で３色以上の色分けがなされていること
を特徴としているので、張り替え時期を正確に知
ることができ、プレー中に切れることを予測させ
別のラケツトや新しい糸を用意するよう的確な示
唆を与えることができるという効果がもたらされ
るのである。
【図面の簡単な説明】
第１図は従来のガツトの摩耗状態をあらわす斜
視図、第２図および第３図はこの考案にかかるガ
ツトの一実施例をあらわす部分的斜視図および端
面図、第４図および第５図はこの考案にかかるガ
ツトのそれぞれ異なる実施例をあらわす端面図で
ある。 ３，５，６……ガツト、３ａ……外層、３ｂ…
…中間層、３ｃ……内層。

  1. 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 (1) ラケツトのフレーム内側に交差状に張設され
    打球面を作るガツトにおいて、外層から内層に
    かけて半径方向にそれぞれ異なる色で３色以上
    の色分けがなされていることを特徴とするガツ
    ト。 (2) 色分けが、外層を青色とし、中間層を黄色と
    し、内層を赤色とするものである実用新案登録
    請求の範囲第１項記載のガツト。
