Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 〔産業上の利用分野〕 本発明はプリンタに関し、特に用紙のミシン目を検出す
る機構に関する。
〔従来の技術〕
従来、この種のプリンタには用紙のミシン目を検出する
装置は付いていなかった。
〔発明が解決しようとする課題〕
上述した従来のプリンタは用紙のミシン目にも印字して
しまうので、プログラムを印字した用紙などをミシン目
で切り取ってしまうと、用紙と用紙にまたがった文字が
読み取れなくなってしまうという欠点がある。
本発明の目的は前記課題を解決したプリンタを提供する
ことにある。
〔課題を解決するための手段〕
上記目的を達成するため、本発明のプリンタにおいては
、印字ヘッドの前段に、用紙に付されたミシン目を検出
する発光部と受光部とを装備したものである。
〔実施例〕
次に、本発明について図面を参照して説明する。
第１図は本発明の一実施例の側面図である。用紙２は発
光部５と受光部４との間を通りプラテン１と印字ヘッド
３との間を通る。本発明は、用紙２のミシン目６を通し
て光の授受を行う発光部５と受光部４を印字ヘッド３の
前段位置に配設したものである。通常、発光部５より発
した光は用紙２でさえぎられ受光部４に検出されないが
、用紙２のミシン目６が来たとき、発光部５から発した
光はミシン目６を通過して受光部４で検出される。
受光部４での検出信号に基づいてヘッド３と、発光部５
及び受光部４との距離を考慮して、ミシン目６をさけて
印字ヘッド３により用紙２に印字を行わせる。
〔発明の効果〕
以上説明したように本発明はプリンタ用紙のミシン目の
位置を検出することにより、その検出信号に基づいてミ
シン目上への印字を回避することができる効果を有する
ものである。
