Description
本出願は、米国仮特許出願番号第62/979,815号、出願日2020年2月21日、の権利を主張し、その全内容は、明白に、本明細書中参照として援用される。
本開示は、概して、高いガラス転移温度及び向上した靭性耐性(toughness resistance)を有する硬化性樹脂組成物に関する。詳細には、本開示は、熱硬化性樹脂と、多段階重合体及び熱可塑性靭性付与剤を含有する靭性付与剤(toughener)成分と、並びに硬化剤とを含有する硬化性樹脂組成物に関する。本開示は、強化繊維の存在下で硬化させて繊維強化複合体を形成することが可能である硬化性樹脂組成物の使用、及び繊維強化複合体から作られた航空宇宙構造部品にも関する。
各Rは、独立して、水素、C1-C20アルキル基、アリル基、又はC6-C14アリール基であり;及びR1は、上記のとおり定義される。
Claims (11)
- (a)熱硬化性樹脂、(b)第一段階ではコアを形成し第二段階又はその後のすべての段階でそれぞれシェルを形成するその重合体組成が異なる段階を少なくとも2つ有する多段階重合体と、熱可塑性靭性付与剤とを含む、靭性付与剤成分、並びに(c)硬化剤を含む、硬化性樹脂組成物であって、前記多段階重合体は、重合体粒子の形状をしており、前記重合体粒子は、ガラス転移温度が10℃未満である重合体(A1)を含む少なくとも1つの層(又は段階)(A)、及び(メタ)アクリル重合体である重合体(B1)を含む少なくとも別の層(又は段階)(B)を備える複層構造を有し、
前記靭性付与剤成分は、5重量%~15重量%の前記多段階重合体及び0.1重量%~10重量%の前記熱可塑性靭性付与剤を含む、
硬化性樹脂組成物。 - 前記熱硬化性樹脂は、エポキシ樹脂である、請求項1に記載の硬化性樹脂組成物。
- 前記エポキシ樹脂は、二官能性エポキシ樹脂、三官能性エポキシ樹脂、四官能性エポキシ樹脂、及びそれらの混合物から選択される、請求項2に記載の硬化性樹脂組成物。
- 前記熱可塑性靭性付与剤は、ポリエーテルスルホンである、請求項1に記載の硬化性樹脂組成物。
- 前記硬化剤は、4,4’-メチレン-ビス-(3-クロロ-2,6-ジエチル-アニリン)を含む、請求項1に記載の硬化性樹脂組成物。
- 強化繊維及び請求項1に記載の硬化性樹脂組成物を含む、繊維強化樹脂組成物。
- 前記強化繊維は、グラファイト繊維、ガラス繊維、炭化ケイ素で形成された繊維、アルミナで形成された繊維、ホウ素で形成された繊維、石英で形成された繊維、有機重合体で形成された繊維、及びそれらの混合物から選択される、請求項6に記載の繊維強化樹脂組成物。
- 前記強化繊維は、前記繊維強化樹脂組成物の合計重量を基準にして、5重量%~35重量%の量で存在する、請求項7に記載の繊維強化樹脂組成物。
- 繊維強化複合体の製造法であって、以下:(i)強化繊維を請求項1に記載の硬化性樹脂組成物と接触させて、前記強化繊維を被覆及び/又は含浸させる工程;並びに(ii)前記被覆及び/又は含浸させた強化繊維を、少なくとも60℃の温度で硬化させる工程、
を含む、前記方法。 - RIMシステムで繊維強化複合体を製造する方法であって、以下の工程:a)強化繊維を含むファイバ母材を型に導入する工程;b)請求項1に記載の硬化性樹脂組成物を前記型に注入する工程;c)前記硬化性樹脂組成物を前記ファイバ母材に含浸させる工程;及びd)少なくとも60℃の温度で、少なくとも部分硬化した繊維強化複合体が生成する長さの期間、前記含浸されたファイバ母材を加熱する工程;並びにe)任意選択で、前記部分硬化した繊維強化複合体を、100℃~350℃の温度で後硬化操作に供する工程、
を含む、前記方法。 - VaRTMシステムで繊維強化複合体を製造する方法であって、以下の工程:a)強化繊維を含むファイバ母材を型に導入する工程;b)請求項1に記載の硬化性樹脂組成物を前記型に注入する工程;c)前記型内を減圧する工程;d)前記型をおよそ前記減圧に維持する工程;e)前記硬化性樹脂組成物を前記ファイバ母材に含浸させる工程;f)少なくとも60℃の温度で、少なくとも部分硬化した繊維強化複合体が生成する長さの期間、前記含浸されたファイバ母材を加熱する工程;及びe)任意選択で、前記少なくとも部分硬化した繊維強化複合体を、100℃~350℃の温度で後硬化操作に供する工程、
を含む、前記方法。
