Description
Claims (2)
- 内部に配線が設けられた素体と、該素体の表面に設けられるとともに前記配線と電気的に接続された端子電極と、前記端子電極を覆う絶縁被覆層とを備える電子部品であって、
前記素体が、金属磁性粉含有樹脂で構成されており、実装基板に対向される実装面と、該実装面に対して交差する方向に延びる矩形状かつ平坦な端面とを有し、
前記端子電極が、導電性樹脂で構成されており、前記素体の前記実装面と前記端面とを連続的に覆い、
前記端面において、前記端子電極は前記実装面に対応する辺以外の3辺全てから離間し、前記端面が前記端子電極から露出するU字状の露出領域が形成されており、
前記絶縁被覆層が、樹脂材料で構成されており、前記端面において前記端子電極と前記露出領域とを一体的に覆っており、
前記絶縁被覆層の厚さは、前記実装面を基準にした前記素体の高さ位置の中間位置における前記端子電極上の厚さが該中間位置に対して上側および下側の位置における前記端子電極上の厚さより薄く、かつ、前記中間位置に対して上側および下側の位置における前記端子電極上の厚さが前記端面の露出領域を覆う部分の厚さより薄い、電子部品。 - 前記素体の端面の表面粗さが前記端子電極の表面粗さより大きい、請求項1に記載の電子部品。
