Description

(3)約1mg~約5g、例えば、約1mg~約1g、あるいは約5mg~約500mg、あるいは約10mg~約250mg、あるいは約15mg~約125mgの質量。
顆粒は、水溶性担体を含むことができる。水溶性担体は、布地ケア有益剤を洗浄液に運搬する役割を持つ。担体の溶解時に、布地ケア用有益剤は、洗浄液の中に分散される。
本発明の洗濯組成物中の顆粒は、約0.1重量%~約25重量%、任意選択で約0.2重量%~約20重量%、好ましくは約0.5重量%~約15重量%、より好ましくは約1重量%~約10重量%の1つ以上の香料成分、例えば遊離香料、プロ香料、カプセル化香料、香料マイクロカプセルなどを含んでもよい。顆粒は、遊離香料、カプセル化香料、及び/又は香料マイクロカプセルを含むことができる。一実施形態では、顆粒は、遊離香料を含み、カプセル化香料又は香料マイクロカプセルを実質的に又は本質的に含まない。更に別の実施形態では、顆粒は、それぞれ、カプセル化香料(すなわち、デンプン、シクロデキストリン、シリカ、ゼオライト、若しくは粘土などの担体材料によって担持される香料)又は香料マイクロカプセルを含むが、遊離香料を実質的に又は本質的に含まない。更に別の実施形態では、顆粒は、遊離香料及びカプセル化香料又は香料マイクロカプセルの両方を、例えば、約1:5~約5:1、あるいは約1:4~約4:1、更にあるいは約1:3~約3:1の範囲の重量比で含む。
顆粒は、洗浄を通して、特に洗浄及びすすぎサブサイクルを有する洗濯機の洗浄サブサイクル中に、顆粒が洗濯された布地に柔軟化効果をもたらすことができるように、第四級アンモニウム化合物を含むことができる。第四級アンモニウム化合物(クワット)は、エステル第四級アンモニウム化合物であり得る。好適な第四級アンモニウム化合物には、エステル第四級アンモニウム、アミド第四級アンモニウム、イミダゾリン第四級アンモニウム、アルキル第四級アンモニウム、アミドエステル第四級アンモニウム、及びこれらの組み合わせからなる群から選択される材料が含まれるが、これらに限定されない。好適なエステル第四級アンモニウムとしては、モノエステル第四級アンモニウム、ジエステル第四級アンモニウム、トリエステル第四級アンモニウム、及びこれらの組み合わせからなる群から選択される材料が挙げられるが、これらに限定されない。
本発明の洗濯組成物中の顆粒は、カチオン性ポリマーを含むことができる。カチオン性ポリマーは、布地の第四級アンモニウム化合物上に堆積するのに役立つ堆積助剤、及び顆粒に含まれる可能性のある何らかの他の有益剤の効果をもたらすことができる。
本発明の洗濯組成物中の顆粒は、任意選択で、ジフェニルエーテル抗菌剤を含むことができる。好ましくは、顆粒は、顆粒の重量で約0.01%~約3%、好ましくは約0.02%~約2%、より好ましくは約0.05%~約1%、最も好ましくは約0.1%~約0.5%の当該ジフェニルエーテル抗菌剤を含むことができる。

本発明の洗濯組成物中の顆粒は、他の活性成分、例えば界面活性剤、酵素、着色剤、脂肪酸、酸化防止剤等を更に含むことができる。
顆粒は、約1mg~約1gの個々の質量を有し得る。顆粒が小さければ小さいほど、水には速く溶解する傾向にある。複数の顆粒は、約1mg~約1000mg、あるいは約5mg~約500mg、あるいは約5mg~約200mg、あるいは約10mg~約100mg、あるいは約20mg~約50mg、あるいは約35mg~約45mg、あるいは約38mgの、個別又は平均顆粒質量を有してよい。複数の顆粒は、約30mg未満、あるいは約15mg未満、あるいは、約5mg未満、あるいは約3mgの、質量の標準偏差を有してよい。上述の範囲の平均顆粒質量により、顆粒が典型的な洗浄サイクル中に溶解することができる、水への分散時間を提供することができる。理論によって束縛されることはないが、そのような質量の標準偏差を有する顆粒は、より広い質量の標準偏差を有する顆粒と比較して、より均一な水への分散時間を有することができると考えられる。顆粒の質量の標準偏差が小さいほど、分散時間はより均一になる。複数の顆粒を形成する個々の顆粒の質量は、所望の分散時間を提供するように設定され得、それは、洗濯機における典型的な洗浄サイクルの長さの一部であってもよい。約9000の重量平均分子量を有するポリエチレングリコールから形成される顆粒は、約38mgの平均粒子質量及び約3mgの質量の標準偏差を有することができる。
本発明の洗濯組成物は、複数の微粒子を含む。当該微粒子は、約0.1μm~約15μmの平均粒径を有する。好ましくは、微粒子は、約1μm~約10μm、例えば約2μm~約10μm、又は約2μm、又は約3μm、又は約5μmの平均粒径を有する。微粒子は、顆粒の固着を少なくするために洗濯組成物に添加される。複数の微粒子は、本明細書に記載の複数の顆粒を少なくとも部分的にコーティングする。所望の状態は、微粒子によって完全にコーティングされた顆粒であるが、もちろん、連続的で高速な製造プロセスにおいて全ての場合において完全な被覆が可能であるとは限らないことが予想される。平均粒径が15μmを超えると、微粒子が顆粒上に均一で良好なコーティングを形成できない場合がある。コーティング被覆の程度を定量的に示すことは困難だが、微粒子の量をある程度増やすことにより、効果が改善されることが確認される。したがって、本発明の好ましい実施形態では、微粒子は、組成物の約0.1重量%以上の量で存在する。好ましくは、微粒子は、組成物の約0.2重量%の量で存在する。本出願人は同時に、微粒子の量が増えすぎると、望ましくない残留物が観察されることを発見した。流動性の改善と望ましくない残留物の最小化とのバランスにより、微粒子は組成物の約5重量%以下の量で存在し得る。好ましくは、微粒子は、0.1%~5%、又は任意選択で約0.2%~約4%、又は任意選択で約0.3%~3%、より好ましくは0.3%~2%の量である。
本発明の組成物は、洗濯機又は洗濯用洗面器に投入するための投入量を集合的に構成してもよい。一回の投入量は、組成物の約1g~約50gを含むことができる。一回の投入量は、約5g~約50g、あるいは約10g~約45g、あるいは約20g~約40g、あるいはこれらの組み合わせ、及び前述の範囲のいずれかのうちの、任意のグラム整数、又はグラム整数の範囲を含んでよい。投入量を構成することができる複数の顆粒を形成する個々の顆粒は、約1mg~約5000mg、代替的に約1mg~約1000mg、代替的に約5mg~約200mg、代替的に約10mg~約200mg、代替的に約15mg~約50mg、代替的に約20mg~約50mg、代替的に約35mg~約45mg、代替的に約38mg、代替的にこれらの組み合わせ、及び前述のあらゆる範囲の全mg値又は全mg値の範囲の質量を有することができる。複数の顆粒は、異なるサイズ、形状、及び/又は質量を有する顆粒で構成され得る。ある投入量中の顆粒は、約15mm未満の最大寸法を各々有することができる。ある投入量中の顆粒の各々は、約1cm未満の最大寸法を有することができる。
(1)約3mm以上、例えば、約3mm~12mm、好ましくは約3mm~約10mm、より好ましくは約4mm~約8mmの最長寸法;
(2)約5以下、例えば、約1~約5、好ましくは約1.5~約4、より好ましくは約2~約4のアスペクト比;及び
(3)約1mg~5g、例えば、約1mg~約1g、あるいは約5mg~約500mg、あるいは約10mg~約250mg、あるいは約15mg~約125mgの質量。
洗濯組成物中の複数の顆粒は、以下に記載する方法によって製造することができる。好都合に融解物として処理することができる担体の場合、回転成形(rotoforming)プロセスを使用することができる。融解キャリアと顆粒を構成する他の材料との混合物は、例えばバッチプロセス又は連続混合プロセスで調製される。融解混合物は、例えば、幅750mm、長さ10mのベルトを有する、Sandvik ROTOFORM 3000のロートフォーマに圧送することができる。ロトフォーミング装置は、回転シリンダーを有し得る。シリンダーは、機械横方向に10mm間隔、及び機械方向に9.35mm間隔に設定した直径2mmの孔を有し得る。シリンダーは、ベルトの上約3mmに設定され得る。ベルト速度及びシリンダーの回転速度は、約10m/分に設定され得る。融解混合物は、回転シリンダーにおける開口部を通過させ、回転シリンダーの下に設けられた移動コンベアに堆積させることができる。
非球形の顆粒は、ノギスを使用して最長寸法と最短寸法を測定することができる。データのばらつきを抑えるために、典型的には10個の顆粒を測定し、次いで平均結果を使用することができる。ここでの顆粒のアスペクト比は、次の式を使用して算出される:アスペクト比=最長寸法/最短寸法。
溶解速度試験は、粒子状組成物の溶解速度を測定するために用いられる。この試験は、室温(25℃)で400mlの透明ガラスビーカーに400mlの脱イオン水を加え、次いで約1グラムの試験組成物を脱イオン水に分散させることによって実施される。ストップウォッチを使用して、組成物が完全に溶解するまでに必要な合計時間を数える。
複数の顆粒及び複数の微粒子を含有する本発明の組成物(実施例B、C、E、及びF)と、微粒子を含有しない比較組成物(実施例A及びD)との流動性を、下記の表1に列挙されるように、試験して比較する。所望の量の顆粒例(ビーズD:Downy Moonlight Breezeビーズ、ビーズR:REWO 9203ビーズ)をジップロック(登録商標)バッグ中で秤量し、所望の量のゼオライトA(Aluminum Corporation of China Limited Shangdong Branch製)を秤量し、バッグに加える。バッグを振盪することによって顆粒とゼオライトを30秒間手動で混合し、均質化する。
^ビーズR:77%のPEG9000、3%のカチオン性HEC、及び20%の第四級アンモニウム化合物を含有するREWO 9230ビーズ(Evonik製)。
1-流動性良好(+++);
2-流動性遅い(+)(わずかに固着);
3-流動性悪い(-)(非常に固着);
4-流動性なし(---)。
実施例1からの本発明の組成物及び比較組成物を更に試験する。まず、各試験の前に洗浄及び乾燥することによって、パン及び標準試験ふるい(Tyler No.70)を準備する。ふるい及びパンを予め秤量する。300gの顆粒例(ビーズD、又はビーズD:ビーズRの1:1混合物)を、ジップロック(登録商標)バッグ中で秤量する。所望の量のゼオライトA(China Limited Shangdong BranchのAluminum Corporation製)を秤量し、バッグに加えて、実施例A~Fと同じ濃度の実施例A’~F’を構成する。バッグを振盪することによって、顆粒及びゼオライトを30秒間手動で混合し、均質化する。得られた組成物をふるいに移す。Vibrating Sieve Shaker(Retsch AS200)を用いて、振幅1.35mm/「g」でビーズを60秒間ふるいにかけ、残留物を予め秤量したパンで収集する。パンの質量増加分を秤量し、残留レベルを算出する(残留レベル=残留物の質量/添加した微粒子(ゼオライトA)の質量)。試験を2回行い、平均結果を算出して、以下の表3に記録する。
Claims (14)
- 洗濯組成物であって、
複数の顆粒であって、前記顆粒のそれぞれが、3mm以上12mm以下の最長寸法及び5以下のアスペクト比を有し、前記顆粒のそれぞれが、1mg~1gの質量を有し、前記顆粒が、前記顆粒の50重量%~99.9重量%の水溶性担体を含む、複数の顆粒と、
前記洗濯組成物の0.3重量%~5重量%の複数の微粒子であって、前記微粒子が0.05μm~50μmの平均粒径を有する、複数の微粒子と、
を含み、
前記水溶性担体が、2,000~20,000ダルトンの重量平均分子量(Mw)を有するポリエチレングリコールであり、
前記微粒子が、ゼオライト、ヒュームシリカ、沈降シリカ、炭酸カルシウム、二酸化チタン、炭酸マグネシウム、粘土、カオリン、ステアリン酸カルシウム、ステアリン酸マグネシウム、デンプン、及びこれらの組み合わせからなる群から選択される、洗濯組成物。 - 前記顆粒のそれぞれが、球形、半球形、圧縮半球形、円筒形、円盤形、円形、レンズマメ形、楕円形、立方形、長方形、星形、花形、及びこれらの組み合わせからなる群から選択される規則的な形状を有する、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 前記水溶性担体が、3,000~13,000ダルトンの重量平均分子量(Mw)を有するポリエチレングリコールである、請求項1又は2に記載の組成物。
- 前記微粒子が、0.1μm~15μmの平均粒径を有する、請求項1~3のいずれか一項に記載の組成物。
- 前記微粒子が、前記組成物の0.3重量%~2重量%の量で存在する、請求項1~4のいずれか一項に記載の組成物。
- 前記顆粒が、前記顆粒の0.1重量%~25重量%の、遊離香料、プロ香料、カプセル化香料、香料マイクロカプセル、及びこれらの組み合わせから選択される香料成分を更に含む、請求項1~5のいずれか一項に記載の組成物。
- 前記顆粒が、前記顆粒の0.2重量%~45重量%の第四級アンモニウム化合物を更に含む、請求項1~6のいずれか一項に記載の組成物。
- 前記顆粒が、前記顆粒の0.1重量%~10重量%のカチオン性ポリマーを更に含む、請求項1~7のいずれか一項に記載の組成物。
- 前記顆粒が、前記顆粒の0.01重量%~3重量%のジフェニルエーテル抗菌剤を更に含む、請求項1~8のいずれか一項に記載の組成物。
- 前記顆粒が、界面活性剤、酵素、着色剤、脂肪酸、抗菌剤、及びこれらの組み合わせからなる群から選択される他の活性成分を更に含む、請求項1~9のいずれか一項に記載の組成物。
- 洗濯組成物であって、
(i)前記洗濯組成物の25重量%~99.9重量%の複数の顆粒であって、
前記顆粒のそれぞれが、半球形又は圧縮半球形の形状を有し、
前記顆粒のそれぞれが、3mm以上12mm以下の最長寸法及び5以下のアスペクト比を有し、
前記顆粒のそれぞれが、1mg~1gの質量を有し、
前記顆粒が、前記顆粒の50重量%~99.9重量%の、3,000~13,000ダルトンの重量平均分子量を有するポリエチレングリコールを含む、複数の顆粒と、
(ii)前記洗濯組成物の0.3重量%~5重量%の複数の微粒子であって、
前記微粒子が、0.1μm~15μmの平均粒径を有し、
前記微粒子が、ゼオライト、ヒュームシリカ、沈降シリカ、炭酸カルシウム、二酸化チタン、炭酸マグネシウム、粘土、カオリン、ステアリン酸カルシウム、ステアリン酸マグネシウム、デンプン、及びこれらの組み合わせからなる群から選択される、複数の微粒子と、
を含む、洗濯組成物。 - 洗濯組成物であって、
(i)前記洗濯組成物の10重量%~90重量%の複数の第1の顆粒であって、前記第1の顆粒のそれぞれが、半球形又は圧縮半球形の形状を有し、前記第1の顆粒のそれぞれが、3mm以上12mm以下の最長寸法及び5以下のアスペクト比を有し、
前記第1の顆粒が、
前記第1の顆粒の50重量%~99.9重量%の、3,000~13,000ダルトンの重量平均分子量を有するポリエチレングリコール、並びに
前記顆粒の0.1重量%~25重量%の、遊離香料、プロ香料、カプセル化香料、香料マイクロカプセル、及びこれらの組み合わせから選択される香料成分、を含む、複数の第1の顆粒と、
(ii)前記洗濯組成物の10重量%~90重量%の複数の第2の顆粒であって、前記第2の顆粒のそれぞれが、半球形又は圧縮半球形の形状を有し、前記第2の顆粒のそれぞれが、3mm以上12mm以下の最長寸法及び5以下のアスペクト比を有し、
前記第2の顆粒が、
前記第2の顆粒の50重量%~99.9重量%の、3,000~13,000ダルトンの重量平均分子量を有するポリエチレングリコール、
前記第2の顆粒の0.5重量%~40重量%のエステル第四級アンモニウム化合物、並びに
前記第2の顆粒の0.2重量%~5重量%のカチオン性多糖類、を含む、複数の第2の顆粒と、
(iii)前記洗濯組成物の0.3重量%~5重量%の複数の微粒子であって、前記微粒子が、0.1μm~15μmの平均粒径を有し、前記微粒子が、ゼオライト、ヒュームシリカ、沈降シリカ、炭酸カルシウム、二酸化チタン、炭酸マグネシウム、粘土、カオリン、ステアリン酸カルシウム、ステアリン酸マグネシウム、デンプン、及びこれらの組み合わせからなる群から選択される、複数の微粒子と、
を含む、洗濯組成物。 - 請求項1に記載の洗濯組成物を製造する方法であって、
a.前記組成物の40重量%~99重量%の、3,000~13,000ダルトンの重量平均分子量を有するポリエチレングリコールを含む粘性材料を提供する工程と、
b.前記粘性材料を小さな開口部を通して移動コンベア表面上に通過させ、前記移動コンベア表面上で前記粘性材料を冷却して複数の顆粒を形成する工程と、
c.前記複数の顆粒を、0.1μm~15μmの平均粒径を有する複数の微粒子と混合して、前記洗濯組成物を形成する工程と、
を含む、方法。 - 衣料品を処理するための方法であって、
洗濯機内に衣料品を提供する工程と、
前記洗濯機の洗浄サブサイクル中に前記衣料品を、請求項1~12のいずれか一項に記載の組成物と接触させる工程と、
を含む、方法。
