Description
(a)銅を含有する1つまたはそれ以上の化合物を炭素含有担体に含浸させる工程と、および
(b)含浸担体を(a)から非還元性雰囲気下で加熱して、銅を含有する化合物を分解する工程と、
(c)場合により、(b)からの担体を、酸素含有流下などの非還元性雰囲気下で処理する工程とおよび
(d)100℃から500℃の温度で担体上の金属を還元する工程と、を含む。
(a)銅を含有する1つまたはそれ以上の化合物と炭素含有担体を含浸すること、および
(b)非還元性雰囲気下で(a)からの含浸担体を加熱して、銅を含む化合物を分解することと、
(c)非還元性雰囲気下で、任意に、(b)からの担体を、酸素含有流下で処理すること、
(d)100℃から500℃の温度で担体上の金属を還元することと、を含む方法である。
N2物理吸着等温線を、Micromeritics,TriStar 3000 V6.08装置で-196℃で測定した。測定の前に、試料を動的真空下で14時間、150℃でガス放出した。特定の表面積は、マルチ-ポイントBrunauer-Emmet‐Teller(BET)解析(0.05<P/P0<0.25)を用いて計算した。総細穴体積は、0.99のP/P0での単一点細穴体積と、吸収枝に適用されたBarrett‐Joyner-Halenda(BJH)解析によって決定された細穴直径分布として計算した。
熱伝導度検出器(TCD)を備えたMicromeritics Autochem II ASAP 2920を用いて、最終Cu/C触媒に関する温度プログラム還元(TPR)測定を行った。測定の前に、試料を、室温に冷却する前に、Ar流下で120℃で0.5時間乾燥した。次に、5%H2/Ar流下で(1mL min-1 mgcat -1)で、温度を2℃ min-1で400℃に上た。この手順の間にH2消費量をTCDを使用して測定し、それぞれの試料のCuの量に正規化した。
Lynxeye検出器を備えたBruker D8粉末X線回折装置でin-situでX線回折を行った。使用した放射はCo-Kα12(λ=0.179026nm)で、30kV,45mA,V20可変スリットで動作させた。回折図は、合成における最終還元工程の直後に最初に採取した。グローブボックス内にX線回折標本ホルダーを装填し、続いて気密透明ドーム状キャップ(A100B33,Bruker AXS)で密閉し、Ar雰囲気下で回折図を収集した。回折図は、典型的には、5~95o20から室温で、0.1o刻みで収集され、30.9o20でのグラファイト炭素の(002)回折の強度に正規化された。バックグラウンド減算または平滑化は行われなかった。ピーク デコンボリューション ソフトウェア(Topas V5,Bruker AXS)を用いて銅結晶子サイズを計算し、シェイプファクタk=0.1のシェラー式をCuo(111)の(50.7o20)回折とCuo(200)の(59.3o20)(Patterson 1939)回折に適用した。
TEM画像はTecnai 20(FEI)顕微鏡で、HAADF-STEMはTalos F200X(FEI)顕微鏡で、いずれも200kVで動作した。電子線誘起粒子成長を避けるために、nm2s-1当たり~5電子の最大電子線量率でTEM画像を取得した。TEM試料は、触媒を微粉末に粉砕することによって調製し、これをホーリー炭素被覆銅TEMグリッド(Agar 300メッシュCu)上に直接堆積した。表面平均粒子径(PS)は、少なくとも250の個々のサイズを異なる範囲で測定することによってTEM分析によって求めた。PSは、PS=√((Σ1 nDi 2)/(Σ1 n))を用いて計算され、ここで、Diはith微粒子の直径である。
排ガス混合ガスの組成をオンラインガスクロマトグラフィーで分析した(GC)。フレームイオン化検出器(Perichrom PR 2100、セバコニトリル25%Chromosorb PAW 80/100 Meshで満たしたカラム)を用いて、15分毎にデータを取得した。GCピーク面積は、予め混合したキャリブレーションガスを用いて、ブタジエン、トランス-2-ブチレン、cis-2-ブチレン、1-ブチレン、n-ブタン、プロプレンおよびプロパンについてキャリブレーションした。気相濃度を測定ピーク範囲で計算した。モノ-オレフィンプロピレンの水素化を正確に定量するために、プロパンの形成に続いてGCを行った。ブタジエン反応ガスはcis-2-ブチレン微量不純物を約0.25%含んでいた。プロピレン反応ガスは約0.025%のプロパン不純物を含んでいた。これらの微量については、反応速度論に対する有意な影響は予想されない。これらの微量化合物の生成物分析については、反応測定下の測定値から初期濃度を差し引く。ブランク測定を行い、ブタジエン流およびGC分析におけるゆらぎを決定した。ここでは、±1.1%ブタジエンの標準偏差が見出された。GC検出限界は、流出ガス中の各分析物について約0.2ppmであり、ブタジエンからのブタン形成<0.01%に相当した。
触媒は、未変性および改質高表面積グラファイトの両方を(HSAG)を担体として使用して調製した。炭素担体は、大部分がグラファイトシートからなり、2~50nmの範囲の孔径分布を有する。表面積約500m2g-1および0.7mLg-1全細孔容積を有するプリスチンHSAG(P-HSAG)は、Timcal Ltd.から入手した。P-HSAG担体を粉砕し、動的真空下、170℃で1.5時間乾燥して、吸収された水を除去し、最後に、さらに使用するまで、Ar充填グローブボックス中に貯蔵した。
0.6nmのCuクラスタを有する炭素含有担体(ここからCu/Cと呼ぶ)上に担持された銅触媒を、2.7重量%のCu負荷で調製した。ここで、実施例1の乾燥Ox-HSAG担体の約2gを、わずかな真空下で、丸底フラスコ中で初期の湿潤に含浸させた。~1pHで0.1M HNO3中のCu(NO3)2の水溶液を用いた。シリンジによって前駆体溶液を添加した。Cu濃度は、所望のCu重量負荷を得るために調整した。含浸物を24時間撹拌して、Cu含有量を均質化した。次に、含浸物を、動的真空下で撹拌しながら、室温で一晩乾燥させた。乾燥した含浸物をプラグフロー反応器に移し、0.5℃min-1で230およびN2流下(100mL min-1g-1)で230℃で1時間保持し、硝酸塩前駆体を分解した。試料を冷却し、空気にゆっくり暴露して、明確で高分散性のCuII種を得た。0.6nmのCu0クラスタを、200℃で触媒反応器内で還元することによってin-situで調製した。触媒試験で使用される実際の触媒のX線回折およびHAADF-STEM分析を可能にするために、同一条件下で試料についてex-situ還元を行った。
6.3重量%のCu装填量で、3nmの粒子サイズを有するCu/C触媒を調製した。ここでは、実施例1の乾燥Ox-HSAG担体約2gを、わずかに真空下、丸底フラスコ中で初期の湿潤に含浸させた。~1pHの0.1MHNO3中のCu(NO3)2の水溶液を使用した。シリンジによって前駆体溶液を添加した。Cu濃度は、所望のCu重量負荷を得るために調整した。含浸物を24時間撹拌して、金属含有量を均質化した。次に、含浸物を、動的真空下で撹拌しながら、室温で一晩乾燥させた。乾燥した含浸物をプラグフロー反応器に移し、0.5℃min-1で230℃に加熱し、N2流下(100mL min-1g) -1)で230℃で1時間保持し、硝酸塩前駆体を分解した。試料を冷却し、室温で20vol%O2/N2で処理して、明確で高分散のCuII種を得た。そして、試料をN2で30分間洗浄した。洗浄後、試料を、5vol%H2/N2流下(~1.5mL min-1mgcat -1)で150℃に加熱することによって還元した。ヒーターランプは、150で2時間保持した状態で2℃min-1であった。次に、同じ条件下で、2℃でmin-1で1時間保持しながら250℃まで昇温た。冷却後、還元した試料を密閉容器中でAr充填グローブボックス(Mbraun Labmaster dp;<lppm H2O;<lppm O2)に移した。
6nm粒径のCu/C触媒を6.3重量%のCu負荷で調製した。ここでは、実施例1の乾燥Ox-HSAG担体約2gを、わずかに真空下、丸底フラスコ中で初期の湿潤に含浸させた。~1pHでの0.1MHNO3中のCu(NO3)2の水解を使用した。シリンジによって前駆体溶液を添加した。所望のCu重量負荷を得るためにCu濃度を調整した。含浸物を24時間撹拌して、金属含有量を均質化した。次に、含浸物を、動的真空下で撹拌しながら、室温で一晩乾燥させた。乾燥した含浸物をプラグフロー反応器に移し、0.5℃min-1で230℃に加熱し、N2流下(100mLming-1)で230℃に1時間保持し、硝酸塩前駆体を分解した。試料を冷却し、室温で20vol%O2/N2で処理して、明確で高分散のCuII種を得た。そして、試料をN2で30分間洗浄した。洗浄後、試料を5vol%H2/N2流量(~1.5mL min-1mgcat -1)で150℃以下に加熱することによって還元した。加熱ランプは、150で2時間保持して、2℃min-1であった。次に、同一の雰囲気下で、2℃min-1で、l時間保持したまま400℃に昇温した。冷却後、還元した試料を密閉容器内で、Ar充填グローブボックス(Mbraun Labmaster dp;<lppm H2O;<lppmO2)に移した。
13nmの粒子サイズを有するCu/C触媒を12.l重量%のCu負荷で調製した。ここでは、実施例1の乾燥したP-HSAG担体約2gを、わずかに真空下で、丸底フラスコ中で初期の湿潤に含浸させた。~1pHで0.1M HNO3中のCu(NO3)2の水溶液を使用した。シリンジによって前駆体溶液を添加した。Cu濃度は、所望のCu重量負荷を得るために調整した。含浸物を24時間撹拌して、金属含有量を均質化した。次に、含浸物を、動的真空下で撹拌しながら、室温で一晩乾燥させた。乾燥含浸物をプラグフロー反応器に移し、2.0℃ min-1で230℃に加熱し、20%H2/N2流下(100mL min-1g-1)で、230℃で1時間保持した。試料を室温まで冷却し、N2(100mL min-1g-1)で洗浄した。次に、5%O2/N2流下(100mL min-1g-1)で、1℃ min-1で200℃で3時間加熱した。、室温まで冷却し、最終触媒を回収する前に、200℃で、気体流を15%O2/N2流下(100mL min-1g-1)で1時間を保持した。
19nm粒径のCu/C触媒を6.3重量%のCu負荷で調製した。ここでは、実施例1の乾燥したOx-HSAG担体約2gを、わずかに真空下で、丸底フラスコ中で初期の湿潤に含浸させた。0.1MHO3の中のCu(NO3)2の水溶液を~lpHで使用した。シリンジによって前駆体溶液を添加した。Cu濃度は、所望のCu重量負荷を得るために調整した。含浸物を24時間撹拌して、金属含有量を均質化した。次に、含浸物を、動的真空下で撹拌しながら、室温で一晩乾燥させた。乾燥した含浸物をプラグフロー反応器に移し、0.5℃ min-1で230℃に加熱し、N2流下(100mL min-1g-1)で230℃で1時間保持し、硝酸プリカーサを分解した。試料を冷却し、室温で20vol%O2/N2で処理して、明確で高分散のCuII種を得た。次いで、試料をN2で30分間洗浄した。洗浄後、試料を、5vol%H2/N2流下(~1.5mL min-1mgcat -1)で150℃に加熱することによって還元した。加熱ランプは、150℃で2時間保持した状態で2℃min-1であった。次に、同じ雰囲気下で2℃min-1で、1時間保持しながら400℃に昇温した。その後、気体流をN2(100mL min-1g-1)に変更し、2℃ min-1で500℃まで温度を上昇させ、500℃で1時間保持した。冷却した後、還元した試料を密閉容器内でAr充填グローブボックス(Mbraun Labmaster20dp;<lppm H2O;<lppm02)に移した。
Cu担持量1.7重量%のチタニア含有担体(ここではCu/TiO2と呼ぶ)上に担持した銅触媒を調製した。ここでは、約2gの市販のP25TiO2(例えば、Degussa)を、わずかな真空下で、丸底フラスコ中で初期湿潤に含浸させた。~1PHで0.1 M HNO3中のCu(NO3)2の水溶液を使用した。シリンジによって前駆体溶液を添加した。Cu濃度は、所望のCu重量負荷を得るために調整した。含浸物を24時間撹拌して、金属含有量を均質化した。次に、含浸物を、動的真空下で撹拌しながら、室温で一晩乾燥させた。乾燥した含浸物をプラグフロー反応器に移し、0.5℃ min-1で250℃に加熱し、N2流下(100mL min-1g-1)で、230℃で1時間保持し、硝酸塩前駆体を分解した。試料を冷却し、室温で20vol%O2/N2と処理して明確で分散性の高いCuII種を得た。次に、試料をN2で30分間洗浄した。洗浄後、5vol%H2N2流下(~1.5mL min-1mgcat -1)で150℃に加熱することによって試料を還元した。加熱ランプは、150℃で2時間保持して、2℃min-1であった。次に、同じ雰囲気下で、1時間保持しながら2℃ min-1で250℃まで昇温した。冷却後、還元した試料を密閉容器内でAr充填グローブボックス(Mbraun Labmaster dp;<lppmH2O;<lppm02)に移した。

Au担持量l重量%の炭素含有担体(ここではAu/Cと呼ぶ)に担持した金触媒を調製した。まず、液相酸化処理により酸化カーボンナノチューブ担体を調製した。本明細書において、約2グラムの市販のカーボンナノチューブ(例えば、Baytubes)を、500mLの丸底フラスコにおいて、400mLのHNO3(aq)(68%)に懸濁した。フラスコに還流冷却器を備え、加熱マントルを用いて加熱した。120℃の最終温度を120分間保持した。冷却後、酸化されたカーボンナノチューブ担体を濾過によって収集し、脱イオン水で十分に洗浄し、120℃で一晩乾燥した。
Au担持量4重量%のAu/C触媒を調製した。まず、Au(en)2Cl3の溶液である金属前駆体を調製した。ここでは、0.125g(0.635mmol)のAuを含有するHAuCl4(17重量%Au)の水溶液0.449mLを、ガラスビーカー中の脱塩H2O中で2.5mLに希釈した。この溶液に、400RPMで撹拌しながら、0.15mL(2.25mmol)の純粋なエチレンジアミンを滴下した。ビーカーは、光への暴露を避けるためにパラフィルムおよびアルミニウム箔で覆った。この過程を400RPMで撹拌しながら30分間反応させた。続いて、この溶液に無水エタノール30mLを加えると、黄色/白色の沈殿物が形成された。懸濁液を一晩放置して固体を沈降させた。翌日、液体をデカントし、黄金色前駆体を一晩放置して暗所で乾燥させた。翌日、金色前駆体を脱塩H2Oに再溶解して総量2.5mLとし、さらに後で使用するまで4℃で保存した。
実施例2~6および比較例A~Dの不活性化Cu/C触媒をペレット状にし、粉砕し、篩にかけて、90~212μmの顆粒サイズを得た。
大気圧下で石英プラグ流反応器(内径4mm)で触媒水素化試験を行った。
実施例8に記載のように、充填および還元された触媒のプロピレン供給組成物中の1%ブタジエン中のブタジエンおよびプロピレンの転換は、、30℃~195℃の反応温度で研究された。ガス供給物のガス毎時空間速度(GHSV)が約90,000h-1であった供給ガスは、総流量50mL min-1で、ブタジエン/プロペレン/H2/He=0.15/15/10/24.85mL min-1の組成物を有していた。
実施例8に記載のように装填および還元された触媒のジ-オレフィンおよびモノ-オレフィンに対する反応物変換を、連続温度上昇実験にわたって温度の関数として研究した。連続温度上昇実験のために、触媒をたH2流下で30℃まで冷却し、in-situで還元の直後、試料を、1気圧で0.15/15/10/24.85mL min-1の比率でl,3-ブタジエン/プロピレン/H2/Heを含有する予め混合された反応ガス供給物に暴露した。実施例2~6からの触媒については、反応器を0.5℃ min-1~195℃まで加熱し、30℃まで冷却し、同じ速度および雰囲気で再度195℃まで加熱し、比較例A~Dからの触媒については、最高加熱温度は195℃以上であった。温度上昇中、データは7.5℃毎に取得された。上昇の後、触媒を冷却し、空気にゆっくり曝すことによって室温で不活性化した。
実施例3および4からの触媒を、等温実験にわたって時間の関数として研究した。等温実験では、実施例3および実施例4で使用したCu/C触媒は、in-situで還元した後、H2流下で80℃に冷却した。次いで、触媒を、0.15/15/10/24.85mL min-1の比率で1,3-ブタジエン/プロピレン/H2/Heを含有する反応供給ガスに暴露した。次いで、触媒を2℃ min-1で110℃、1気圧で加熱した。最終温度110℃に達したら、反応時間をt0と決定した。触媒を、試料を冷却し、空気にゆっくり暴露することによって室温で不活性化する前に、流上で少なくとも100時間、110℃に保持した。結果を以下の表13および14に示す。
Claims (18)
- ポリ不飽和炭化水素化合物の水素化方法であって、前記方法は1つまたはそれ以上のポリ不飽和炭化水素化合物を含む供給材料を水素の存在下で銅および炭素を含む触媒と接触させることからなり、触媒が炭素含有担体材料上に銅を含み、前記炭素含有担体材料がグラファイト、グラフェン、カーボンナノチューブ、カーボンナノファイバーおよびナノプレートレットから選択される方法。
- 炭素含有担体材料がグラファイト、グラフェン、カーボンナノチューブ、カーボンナノファイバーおよびナノプレートレットから選択される炭素系担体材料である請求項1に記載の方法。
- 触媒が、それらの金属形成または酸化物の形成のいずれかで、銀、金、カリウム、ナトリウム、亜鉛、マンガン、クロムまたはそれらの混合物から選択される1つまたはそれ以上の金属促進剤または改質剤をさらに含む請求項1または2に記載の方法。
- 触媒が、担持触媒の総重量に基づいてl~15重量%の量の銅を含む請求項l~3のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 1つまたはそれ以上のポリ不飽和炭化水素化合物を含む供給材料が、少なくとも1つのジ-オレフィンを含む請求項1~4のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 1つまたはそれ以上のポリ不飽和炭化水素化合物を含む供給材料が、少なくとも1つのモノ-オレフィン、および少なくとも1つのジ-オレフィンを含む請求項1~4のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 1つまたはそれ以上のポリ不飽和炭化水素化合物を含む供給材料が、少なくとも1つのアルキンを含む請求項1~6のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 1つまたはそれ以上のポリ不飽和炭化水素化合物を含む供給材料が、ブタン、ブタジエン、および任意にブチンを含む請求項1~6のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- モノ-オレフィンに対する供給材料中のジ-オレフィンの割合が5%v/v未満である請求項6に記載の方法。
- モノ-オレフィンに対する供給材料中のジ-オレフィンの割合が1%v/v未満である請求項6に記載の方法。
- 接触工程が、少なくとも50℃および300℃未満の温度で行われる請求項1~10のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 接触工程が、大気圧またはそれ以上の圧力で行われる請求項1~11のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 炭素含有担体上に銅触媒を製造するための方法であって、炭素含有担体は炭素含有担体材料であってグラファイト、グラフェン、カーボンナノチューブ、カーボンナノファイバーおよびナノプレートレットから選択され、
(a)銅を含有する1つまたはそれ以上の化合物を炭素含有担体に含浸させること、および
(b)非還元性雰囲気下での銅を含む化合物を分解するために、(a)からの含浸担体を加熱することと、
(c)任意に、酸素含有流下などの非還元性雰囲気下で、(b)からの担体を処理することと、および
(d)100℃~500℃の温度で担体上の金属を還元すること、
とを含む方法。 - 炭素含有担体上に銅を含む水素化触媒であって、炭素含有担体は炭素含有担体材料であってグラファイト、グラフェン、カーボンナノチューブ、カーボンナノファイバーおよびナノプレートレットから選択され、担体上の銅粒子の表面平均粒子サイズが0.5~20nmの範囲である炭素含有担体上に銅を含む水素化触媒。
- 担体上の銅粒子の表面平均粒子サイズがlnm~10nmの範囲である請求項14に記載の触媒。
- 担体上の銅粒子の表面平均粒子サイズが2nm~8nmの範囲である請求項14に記載の触媒。
- 1つまたはそれ以上のジ-オレフィンの水素化方法において、炭素含有担体は炭素含有担体材料であってグラファイト、グラフェン、カーボンナノチューブ、カーボンナノファイバーおよびナノプレートレットから選択され、モノ-オレフィン水素化よりもジ-オレフィン水素化に対する選択性を高める炭素含有担体上の銅触媒の使用。
- 1つまたはそれ以上のジ-オレフィンの水素化方法における触媒の安定性を改善する炭素含有担体上の銅触媒の使用であり、炭素含有担体は炭素含有担体材料であってグラファイト、グラフェン、カーボンナノチューブ、カーボンナノファイバーおよびナノプレートレットから選択される使用。
