Description
図1及び2に示されるように、磁石構造体10は、複数の永久磁石部材2と、永久磁石部材2を互いに接着する接着層4と、を備える。接着層4は、接着剤及び複数のギャップ材を含む。各ギャップ材は、絶縁性を有している。各ギャップ材は粒子であってよい。各ギャップ材の形状は、例えば、球、柱、錐、又は多面体であってよい。
図7に示されるように、本実施形態に係る磁石構造体10は、モータ100に用いられてよい。図7に示されるモータ100は、IPMモータ(Interior Permanent Magnet Motor)である。モータ100は、円筒状のロータ20(回転子)と、ロータ20を囲むようにロータ20の外側に配置されるステータ30(固定子)とを備えている。図7は、ロータ20の回転軸方向(Z軸方向)におけるモータ100の内部構造を示している。ロータ20は、円筒状のロータコア22と複数の磁石構造体10とを有する。ロータコア22の外周面に沿って、所定の間隔で複数の収容穴24が形成されており、磁石構造体10は各収容穴24に収容されている。つまり、各磁石構造体10が、ロータコア22の周面に沿って配置されている。磁石構造体10は、樹脂モールドによって、収容穴24内に固定される。樹脂モールドでは、高い圧力が磁石構造体10へ加えられる。接着層4が扁平なギャップ材8を含むことにより、樹脂モールドに伴う接着層4の破断が抑制され易い。
