Description

図1は、本発明の一実施形態による、操作可能なバルーンカテーテル40を備えるバルーンカテーテル法システム20の概略描写図である。システム20は、連結部材がカテーテルのシャフト(以下の図2に示される)の遠位縁に装着されている、カテーテル21を備える。バルーンカテーテル40は、医師30によって、テーブル29上に横たわる患者28の、挿入図25に見られる心臓26の腔45内にシース23を通して挿入される。心臓26の左心房45であることが示されている、腔45内の標的位置に到達するために、医師30は、シース23からの偏向によってバルーンカテーテル40の遠位端をナビゲートする。
図2Aは、本発明の一実施形態による、プローブ操作アセンブリ(PMA)を備える、操作可能なバルーンカテーテル40Aの概略的な詳細描写図である。図2Aに見られるように、カテーテル40Aは、畳み込まれた状態で見られ、その近位端で連結部材22に、及びその遠位端でPMA55Aのノーズ51に連結されている、拡張可能な膜44を更に備える。
(1) 医療用プローブであって、
患者の器官の腔内に挿入するためのシャフトと、
拡張可能な膜と、
前記拡張可能な膜の内側に位置するプローブ操作アセンブリ(PMA)であって、
第1の弾性要素であって、前記PMAの長手方向軸に沿って適合されており、前記PMAを短縮することによって前記膜を拡張させ、かつ前記PMAを伸長することによって前記膜を畳み込むように構成されている、第1の弾性要素と、
第2の弾性要素であって、前記第1の弾性要素の少なくとも一部分を包囲し、前記長手方向軸に対して前記膜を偏向させるように構成されている、第2の弾性要素と、を備える、プローブ操作アセンブリ(PMA)と、を備える、医療用プローブ。
(2) 前記第2の弾性要素の長さが、前記PMAの上の屈曲位置を決定するように構成されている、実施態様1に記載の医療用プローブ。
(3) 前記シャフト内部に延びる中空管を備え、前記PMAを短縮又は伸長するために、前記中空管の遠位縁が、前記PMAの遠位端に連結されている、実施態様1に記載の医療用プローブ。
(4) 前記膜を偏向させるために前記第2の弾性要素に接続されている1つ又は2つ以上の牽引ワイヤを備える、実施態様1に記載の医療用プローブ。
(5) 前記1つ又は2つ以上の牽引ワイヤがそれぞれ、糸を備える、実施態様4に記載の医療用プローブ。
(7) 前記1つ又は2つ以上の牽引ワイヤ上の張力の量を制御するために回転するように構成されたラチェッティング機構を備える、カテーテルハンドルを備える、実施態様4に記載の医療用プローブ。
(8) 前記カテーテルハンドルが、前記1つ又は2つ以上の牽引ワイヤを使用して前記PMAを偏向させるように構成されたロッカーを備え、前記ロッカーの中心が、前記中空管を通過させるための開口部を有する、実施態様7に記載の医療用プローブ。
(9) 前記第1の弾性要素及び前記第2の弾性要素が、それぞれ、第1のバネ及び第2のバネを備える、実施態様1に記載の医療用プローブ。
(10) 前記第1のバネ及び前記第2のバネが、螺旋状であり、前記第1のバネが、第1の巻き方を有し、前記第2のバネが、前記第1の巻き方と反対の第2の巻き方を有する、実施態様9に記載の医療用プローブ。
(12) 前記可撓性管の上で摺動し、前記1つ又は2つ以上の牽引ワイヤに接続されているリングを備える、実施態様11に記載の医療用プローブ。
(13) 前記可撓性管の一部分が、前記シャフトの遠位縁で連結部材を包んでおり、前記連結部材は、前記PMAを前記シャフトに連結する、実施態様11に記載の医療用プローブ。
(14) 前記拡張可能な膜の近位縁が、前記可撓性管に連結されている、実施態様11に記載の医療用プローブ。
(15) 製造方法であって、
拡張可能な膜の内側にプローブ操作アセンブリ(PMA)を装着することであって、前記プローブ操作アセンブリ(PMA)が、
第1の弾性要素であって、前記PMAの長手方向軸に沿って適合されており、前記PMAを短縮することによって前記膜を拡張させ、かつ前記PMAを伸長することによって前記膜を畳み込むように構成されている、第1の弾性要素と、
第2の弾性要素であって、前記第1の弾性要素の少なくとも一部分を包囲し、前記長手方向軸に対して前記膜を偏向させるように構成されている、第2の弾性要素と、を備える、装着することと、
連結部材を使用して、患者の器官の腔内に挿入するためのシャフトの遠位縁で、前記PMA及び前記膜を接続することと、を含む、製造方法。
(17) 前記シャフト内部に中空管を延ばすことを含み、前記PMAを短縮又は伸長するために、前記中空管の遠位縁が、前記PMAの遠位端に連結されている、実施態様15に記載の方法。
(18) 前記膜を偏向させるために1つ又は2つ以上の牽引ワイヤを前記第2の弾性要素に接続することを含む、実施態様15に記載の方法。
(19) 前記1つ又は2つ以上の牽引ワイヤがそれぞれ、糸を備える、実施態様18に記載の方法。
(20) 前記糸が、超高分子量ポリエチレン(UHMWPE)材料から作られている、実施態様19に記載の方法。
(22) 前記第1のバネ及び前記第2のバネが、螺旋状であり、前記第1のバネが、第1の巻き方を有し、前記第2のバネが、前記第1の巻き方と反対の第2の巻き方を有する、実施態様21に記載の方法。
(23) 前記第2の弾性要素が、可撓性管である、実施態様15に記載の方法。

(25) 方法であって、

Claims (11)
- 医療用プローブであって、
患者の器官の腔内に挿入するためのシャフトと、
拡張可能な膜と、
前記拡張可能な膜の内側に位置するプローブ操作アセンブリ(PMA)であって、
第1の弾性要素であって、前記PMAの長手方向軸に沿って適合されており、前記PMAを短縮することによって前記膜を拡張させ、かつ前記PMAを伸長することによって前記膜を畳み込むように構成されている、第1の弾性要素と、
第2の弾性要素であって、前記第1の弾性要素の少なくとも一部分を包囲し、前記長手方向軸に対して前記膜を偏向させるように構成されている、第2の弾性要素と、を備える、プローブ操作アセンブリ(PMA)と、を備え、
前記シャフトの内部に延びる中空管を備え、前記PMAを短縮又は伸長するために、前記中空管の遠位縁が、前記PMAの遠位端に連結されており、
前記中空管が近位方向に移動した場合に、前記第1の弾性要素が短縮して前記PMAが短縮し、それによって前記膜が拡張し、前記中空管が遠位方向に移動した場合に、前記第1の弾性要素が伸長して前記PMAが伸長し、それによって前記膜が畳み込まれ、
前記膜を偏向させるために前記第2の弾性要素に接続されている1つ又は2つ以上の牽引ワイヤを備え、

- 前記第1のバネ及び前記第2のバネが、螺旋状であり、前記第1のバネが、第1の巻き方を有し、前記第2のバネが、前記第1の巻き方と反対の第2の巻き方を有する、請求項6に記載の医療用プローブ。
