Description
Claims (12)
- ターボ分子ポンプの油潤滑式ロータ軸受のための軸受ケージであって、
該軸受ケージは、複数の軸受ポケットを備え、該軸受ポケットの各々は、使用時に軸受球が前記ロータ軸受の内輪及び外輪に動作可能に係合できるように前記軸受球を収容し、各軸受ポケットは、前記軸受球を収容するための一次チャンバを有し、各軸受ポケットは、油溜めを有し、
前記油溜めは、前記ポケットの第1の端部とは反対側の第2の端部に位置し、前記各軸受ポケットは前記第1の端部に開口を備え、
前記一次チャンバは、内部に収容された軸受球の一部を包囲する実質的に円弧状の表面によって少なくとも部分的に定められ、前記油溜めは、前記実質的に円弧状の表面から半径方向に外向きに延びる二次チャンバの形態であり、
前記油溜めは、単一の実質的に円弧状の表面によって定められ、前記油溜めを定める前記実質的に円弧状の表面は、前記一次チャンバを定める前記実質的に円弧状の表面の半径よりも小さな均一な半径を有し、前記油溜めは側方が開放している、
ことを特徴とする軸受ケージ。 - 前記第1の端部はロータ側端部であり、前記第2の端部はポンプ出口側端部である、
請求項1に記載の軸受ケージ。 - 前記油溜めは、前記軸受ケージの外輪側表面に延びている、
請求項1または2に記載の軸受ケージ。 - 前記油溜めは、前記軸受ケージの内輪側表面に延びている、
請求項1から3のいずれか1項に記載の軸受ケージ。 - 前記油溜めは、内輪側又は外輪側のみにおいて開口する、
請求項1から4のいずれか1項に記載の軸受ケージ。 - 前記油溜めは、その基部から長手方向に延びる壁によって内輪側又は外輪側が定められ、前記長手方向に延びる壁は、前記一次チャンバを定める前記実質的に円弧状の表面の一部を形成する軸受球側表面を含む、
請求項1から5のいずれか1項に記載の軸受ケージ。 - 前記油溜めを定める前記実質的に円弧状の表面と、前記一次チャンバを定める前記実質的に円弧状の表面とは連続する、
請求項1から6のいずれか1項に記載の軸受ケージ。 - 軸受球の一部が前記軸受ポケットの開口部を通り及び/又は前記油溜め内に入り込むことができる、
請求項1から7のいずれか1項に記載の軸受ケージ。 - ターボ分子ポンプのための油潤滑式転がり軸受であって、内輪と、外輪と、複数の軸受球と、請求項1から8のいずれか1項に記載の軸受ケージとを備える、ことを特徴とする油潤滑式転がり軸受。
- 請求項9に記載の油潤滑式転がり軸受を備える、ことを特徴とするターボ分子ポンプ。
- 油潤滑式ころ軸受を備えたターボ分子ポンプを垂直反転配向又は非垂直配向で使用できるように変換する方法であって、
a.前記油潤滑式ころ軸受を除去するステップと、
b.前記油潤滑式ころ軸受を、それぞれが軸受球を収容する複数の軸受ポケットを含む請求項1ないし8のいずれか1項に記載の軸受ケージを含む代替軸受に置き換えるステップと、を含み、
前記代替軸受の各軸受ポケットは、油溜めを含む、ことを特徴とする方法。 - 内輪と、外輪と、複数の軸受球と、請求項1から8のいずれか1項に記載の軸受ケージとを備えたターボ分子ポンプのための転がり軸受を含む油転がり軸受のターボ分子ポンプの使用。
