Claims (20)
- 近位部分と、遠位部分と、長手方向軸とを備える、患者の体管腔内に位置決めされる可撓性細長部材と、
前記可撓性細長部材の前記遠位部分に配設され、前記体管腔内に位置決めされている間、撮像データを取得する超音波撮像アセンブリと、
を備える、腔内超音波撮像装置であって、
前記超音波撮像アセンブリは、
複数の基板アイランドと、
前記複数の基板アイランド上の各々に形成され、複数の容量性マイクロマシン超音波トランスデューサ(CMUT)素子を含む複数の音響素子であって、前記複数のCMUT素子の各々は、前記複数の基板アイランドに対して移動可能な膜を含む、複数の音響素子と、
前記膜に直接接するように、かつ前記可撓性細長部材の前記長手方向軸の周りに前記複数の基板アイランドが配置されるように、前記複数の基板アイランドに結合され、前記複数の音響素子の各々にオーバーラップする複数の孔を含む可撓性相互接続部と、
前記複数の音響素子の上に配設された音響透過性の窓であって、前記音響透過性の窓は、積み重なって形成された複数の層を含む、音響透過性の窓と、
を備え、
前記複数の層は、
前記膜に直接接触する最内層と、
前記最内層の反対側の最外層と、
前記最外層を前記複数の層のうちの別の層に結合する接着剤層と、
を含み、
前記音響透過性の窓は、前記可撓性相互接続部の上に配置されている、
腔内超音波撮像装置。 - 前記可撓性細長部材はカテーテルを備える、請求項1に記載の腔内超音波撮像装置。
- 前記超音波撮像アセンブリは血管内超音波撮像アセンブリを備える、請求項1に記載の腔内超音波撮像装置。
- チュービングは収縮包装チュービングを含む、請求項1に記載の腔内超音波撮像装置。
- 前記最内層はポリブタジエンゴムを含む、請求項1に記載の腔内超音波撮像装置。
- 前記最外層はポリエチレンテレフタレートを含む、請求項1に記載の腔内超音波撮像装置。
- 前記接着剤層はポリウレタンを含む、請求項1に記載の腔内超音波撮像装置。
- 前記音響透過性の窓の厚みはその範囲で変動する、請求項1から7のいずれか一項に記載の腔内超音波撮像装置。
- 前記複数の音響素子は、1つ又は複数のラインの素子の構成を含み、前記音響透過性の窓の厚みは前記1つ又は複数のラインの方向に沿って変動する、請求項8に記載の腔内超音波撮像装置。
- 前記音響透過性の窓の厚みは、前記可撓性細長部材の前記長手方向軸の方向に沿って変動する、請求項8又は9に記載の腔内超音波撮像装置。
- 前記音響透過性の窓の厚みは、前記窓の最上面が前記窓にわたって1つ又は複数のレートで平滑に上向き又は下向きに傾斜するように、その範囲で平滑に変動する、請求項1から10のいずれか一項に記載の腔内超音波撮像装置。
- 前記音響透過性の窓の厚みは、前記窓の最上面が、上面レベルと下面レベルと間の前記窓にわたって前記窓の最上面が上向き及び下向きに傾斜するように、下の厚みレベルと上の厚みレベルとの間で平滑に上下する、請求項1から11のいずれか一項に記載の腔内超音波撮像装置。
- 前記音響透過性の窓の前記変動する厚みは、前記窓が楔形状を有するようになっている、請求項1から12のいずれか一項に記載の腔内超音波撮像装置。
- 患者の体管腔内に位置決めされている間に撮像データを取得する、近位部分と遠位部分と長手方向軸とを備える超音波撮像カテーテルと、
前記超音波撮像カテーテルと通信し、取得された前記撮像データに基づいて超音波画像をディスプレイに出力するプロセッサと
を備える、腔内超音波撮像システムであって、
前記超音波撮像カテーテルは、
複数の基板アイランドと、
前記複数の基板アイランド上の各々に形成され、複数の容量性マイクロマシン超音波トランスデューサ(CMUT)素子を含む複数の音響素子であって、前記複数のCMUT素子の各々は、前記複数の基板アイランドに対して移動可能な膜を含む、複数の音響素子と、
前記膜に直接接するように、かつ前記可撓性細長部材の前記長手方向軸の周りに前記複数の基板アイランドが配置されるように、前記複数の基板アイランドに結合され、前記複数の音響素子の各々にオーバーラップする複数の孔を含む可撓性相互接続部と、
前記複数の音響素子の上に配設された音響透過性の窓と、
を更に備え、
前記音響透過性の窓は、
前記膜の上に位置決めされ、前記膜と直接接触する第1の材料層と、
前記第1の材料層の上に位置決めされ、前記第1の材料層と直接接触する第2の材料層と、
前記第2の材料層の上に位置決めされ、前記第2の材料層と直接接触する第3の材料層と、を備え、
前記第2の材料層は前記第1の材料層及び前記第3の材料層を結合し、
前記音響透過性の窓は、前記可撓性相互接続部の上に配置されている、
腔内超音波撮像システム。 - 前記超音波撮像カテーテルは血管内超音波カテーテルを含む、請求項14に記載の腔内超音波撮像システム。
- 前記チュービングは収縮包装チュービングを含む、請求項14に記載の腔内超音波撮像システム。
- 前記第1の材料層は、前記膜の移動時に変形可能な弾性材料を含む、請求項14に記載の腔内超音波撮像システム。
- 前記第1の材料層はポリブタジエンゴムを含む、請求項14に記載の腔内超音波撮像システム。
- 前記第3の材料層はポリエチレンテレフタレートを含む、請求項14に記載の腔内超音波撮像システム。
