Description
ガラス物品: ガラス物品は、任意のサイズのものであってよい。例えばそれは、巻かれた長い超薄ガラスリボン(ガラスロール)、またはガラスロールから切り出された単独のより小さいガラス部材、または別個のガラスシート、または単独の小さいガラス物品(例えばFPSまたはディスプレイのカバーガラス)等であってよい。
本発明の1つの態様によれば、0.4mm以下の厚さ(t)、第1の表面および前記第1の表面に対向する第2の表面、および少なくとも100MPaの圧縮応力(CS)によって定義される圧縮応力領域、および前記第1の表面と前記第2の表面とをつなぐ少なくとも1つの端部を有する、化学強化されたガラス物品において、前記少なくとも1つの端部が、面取り部の幅(A)と面取り部の高さ(B)を有する少なくとも1つの面取り部を有する。前記面取り部は、面取り部の幅/面取り部の高さの比(A/B)1.5~20を有し、且つ前記面取り部は、面取り部の幅/ガラスの厚さの比(A/t)少なくとも0.5を有する。本発明に関して、面取り部は傾斜面または曲がった表面であってよい。
よりも高い場合、前記ガラス物品が大々的に改善された曲げ性能を有することを見出した。
よりも小さい平均破壊曲げ半径を有する場合が、さらに有利である。
より高い。有利なことに、超薄ガラスの平均破壊曲げ半径は、
a) 所望のガラスのための原料の組成物を準備する段階、
b) 前記組成物を溶融する段階、
c) 板ガラス工程においてガラス物品を製造する段階、
d) 特別な面取り部の形状を有するガラス物品をサイズに切断して製造する段階、
e) 前記ガラス物品を化学強化する段階、および
f) 任意に、前記物品の少なくとも1つの表面を被覆層で被覆する段階、
g) 任意に、前記物品の少なくとも1つの表面をポリマー層と貼り合わせる段階
を含み、ここで強化温度および/または強化時間が低減される、前記方法も本発明による。当然、有利または望ましい場合、段階d~gを異なる順で実施してよい。
表1は、化学強化可能である超薄ガラスを直接的に熱間成型するいくつかの典型的な実施態様の組成を示す。
Claims (20)
- 0.05mm以下の厚さ(t)、第1の表面(2)および第2の表面(3)、および少なくとも100MPaの圧縮応力(CS)によって定義される圧縮応力領域、および前記第1の表面(2)と前記第2の表面(3)とをつなぐ少なくとも1つの端部(4)を有する、化学強化されたガラス物品において、前記少なくとも1つの端部(4)が、面取り部の幅(A)と面取り部の高さ(B)とを有する少なくとも1つの面取り部(5)を有し、
・ 前記面取り部(5)が、面取り部の幅/面取り部の高さの比(A/B)1.5~20を有し、且つ、
・ 前記面取り部(5)が、面取り部の幅/ガラスの厚さの比(A/t)少なくとも1.0を有する、前記化学強化されたガラス物品。 - 前記ガラス物品(1)が、厚さ≦0.045mm且つ/または≧0.005mmを有する、請求項1に記載の化学強化されたガラス物品。
- 前記ガラス物品(1)が、厚さ≦0.04mmを有する、請求項1に記載の化学強化されたガラス物品。
- 前記比A/Bが、1.5~15である、請求項1から3までのいずれか1項に記載の化学強化されたガラス物品。
- 前記少なくとも1つの端部(4)が、比A/Bを有する前記第1の表面(2)に向かう第1の面取り部(5)と、比A’/B’を有する第2の表面(3)に向かう第2の面取り部(5’)とを有し、前記第1の面取り部(5)および前記第2の面取り部(5’)がガラス物品(1)の両側上で本質的に対称である、請求項1から4までのいずれか1項に記載の化学強化されたガラス物品。
- A/BとA’/B’との間の差が、30%未満である、請求項5に記載の化学強化されたガラス物品。
- 前記比A/tが、>1.0である、請求項1から6までのいずれか1項に記載の化学強化されたガラス物品。
- 前記比A/tが、>1.1である、請求項1から7までのいずれか1項に記載の化学強化されたガラス物品。
- CSが、>200MPa且つ/または2000MPa未満である、請求項1から8までのいずれか1項に記載の化学強化されたガラス物品。
- DoLが>1μm~<40μmである、請求項1から9までのいずれか1項に記載の化学強化されたガラス物品。
- 前記ガラス物品(1)が、曲げ強さ(BS)>700MPaを有する、請求項1から10までのいずれか1項に記載の化学強化されたガラス物品。
- 前記ガラス物品(1)が、差(BS-CS)少なくとも300MPaを有する、請求項1から11までのいずれか1項に記載の化学強化されたガラス物品。
- 前記端部(4)が、複数の丸められた実質的に半球形の凹み(9)を有する構造化された区域を有する、請求項1から15までのいずれか1項に記載の化学強化されたガラス物品。
- 前記端部(4)が、前記第1の表面(2)および前記第2の表面(3)に対して垂直に向いている面である終端区域(6)を含む、請求項1から16までのいずれか1項に記載の化学強化されたガラス物品。
- 前記ガラス物品(1)が、少なくとも1つの表面で、有機または無機材料の被覆されたまたは貼り合わせられた層を含む、請求項1から17までのいずれか1項に記載の化学強化されたガラス物品。
- フレキシブルおよび折りたたみ可能な電子製品、例えばイメージセンサ、ディスプレイカバー、スクリーンプロテクタのためのカバーおよび基板の分野における、請求項1から18までのいずれか1項に記載の化学強化されたガラス物品の使用。
- ディスプレイの基板およびカバー、壊れやすいセンサ、指紋センサモジュールの基板またはカバー、半導体のパッケージ、薄膜電池の基板およびカバー、折りたたみディスプレイの用途における、請求項1から18までのいずれか1項に記載の化学強化されたガラス物品の使用。
