Description
以下に、本実施の形態に係るブレーキ液圧制御装置を備えた鞍乗型車両用のブレーキシステムを説明する。
本実施の形態に係るブレーキシステムの構成及び動作について説明する。
図1は、本発明の実施の形態に係るブレーキシステムが搭載される鞍乗型車両の構成を示す図である。図2は、本発明の実施の形態に係るブレーキシステムの構成を示す図である。
第1液圧回路12は、ピストン(図示省略)を内蔵しているマスタシリンダ21と、マスタシリンダ21に付設されているリザーバ22と、胴体1に保持され、ブレーキパッド(図示省略)を有しているブレーキキャリパ23と、ブレーキキャリパ23のブレーキパッド(図示略)を動作させるホイールシリンダ24と、を含む。
ブレーキ液圧制御装置70は、基体80、モータ40、及び制御基板76がユニット化されている。なお、本実施の形態においては、基体80に設けられているモータ40以外の各部品(インレットバルブ28、アウトレットバルブ29、アキュムレータ30、ポンプ装置31、切換バルブ32、増圧バルブ33、マスタシリンダ液圧センサ34、ホイールシリンダ液圧センサ35等)も、基体80及び制御基板76とユニット化している。以下では、ブレーキ液圧制御装置70のユニット化されている部分の構成について説明していく。
上述の基体80は、例えばアルミ等の金属で形成されており、例えば略直方体の形状をしている。この基体80は、第1面80a及び第2面80bを備えている。第1面80aには、ハウジング85が接続されている。また、ハウジングには、制御基板76が収納されている。第2面80bは、第1面80aの反対面である。なお、基体80の各面は、段差部を含んでいてもよく、また、曲面部を含んでいてもよい。
本実施の形態に係るブレーキ液圧制御装置70の効果について説明する。
