Description
本発明の第1実施形態に係るブロワは、燃料電池を含む発電システム、例えば固体酸化物型燃料電池(Solid Oxide Fuel Cell;以下、SOFCという)とマイクロガスタービン(以下、MGTという)を組み合わせた複合発電システム(例えば、特開2019-145394号公報、特開2014-107071号公報等参照)中に、いわゆる再循環ブロワとして設けられている。

Claims (10)
- 対象ガスを導入するガス通路と該ガス通路に連通する軸穴とが形成された第1ケーシングと、
前記第1ケーシングの前記軸穴に回転自在に挿通された回転軸と、
前記回転軸の先端側で前記第1ケーシング内に収納された、前記回転軸と一体回転可能なインペラと、
前記回転軸を後端側から駆動するモータと、
前記軸穴に連通する内部空間を有するとともに軸受を介して前記回転軸を支持する第2ケーシングと、
前記第1ケーシングの前記軸穴内よりも高圧のパージガスを前記第2ケーシングの前記内部空間に導入するパージガス導入手段と、を備え、
前記パージガス導入手段は、前記軸穴の後端側であって前記軸受より前記軸穴側に前記パージガスを導入するパージガス通路を有しており、
前記第1ケーシングに、前記インペラの背面側に位置する略板状体で前記回転軸が貫通する断熱部が設けられて、該断熱部が、前記軸穴と前記軸受との間で前記回転軸を取り囲むことで前記軸穴の後端側に前記軸受の露出する環状のガス貯留室を画成しており、
前記軸穴の後端側であって前記パージガスを前記内部空間中の前記環状のガス貯留室に導入する前記パージガス通路の一部が、前記軸穴より前記軸受側で前記断熱部あるいは前記回転軸に形成されて前記環状のガス貯留室に開口しており、
前記パージガス通路により前記内部空間のうち前記軸受より前記軸穴側の前記環状のガス貯留室に前記パージガスが導入されることで、前記第1ケーシングの前記ガス通路側から前記軸穴内への前記対象ガスの流入が抑止されるようにしたことを特徴とするブロワ。 - 前記パージガス導入手段によって前記第2ケーシングの前記内部空間に前記パージガスが導入されるとき、前記パージガスが前記内部空間内で少なくとも前記軸受より前記軸穴側に充満しつつ、該パージガスの圧力が前記軸穴内より高圧に維持されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のブロワ。

前記第2ケーシングの前記内部空間に前記パージガスが導入されるとき、前記パージガスが、前記軸穴内の前記回転軸の周囲の環状隙間を通して前記第1ケーシングの前記ガス通路側に流入することを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載のブロワ。 - 前記第1ケーシングは、前記軸穴の後方側で前記軸受の外輪が突き当て支持された略円環状の支持部を有しており、前記パージガス通路の一部が、前記断熱部に形成されて前記支持部の近傍で前記環状のガス貯留室に開口していることを特徴とする請求項1ないし3のいずれか一項に記載のブロワ。
- 前記断熱部が、少なくとも前記軸穴の近傍に前記第2ケーシングより熱伝導率が小さい気密性壁面を有し、該気密性壁面が、前記インペラの背面に所定隙間を隔てて対向する高温側壁面部分と、前記軸穴を形成する円筒壁面部分と、前記パージガス通路の開口の近傍に位置する低温側壁面部分とを有していることを特徴とする請求項4に記載のブロワ。
- 前記軸穴の後端側に、少なくとも前記断熱部、前記回転軸および前記軸受を含む複数の部材によって前記パージガス通路の一部が開口する前記環状のガス貯留室が画成され、
前記断熱部の前記気密性壁面の円筒壁面部分と前記回転軸との間に、前記環状のガス貯留室より径方向の隙間寸法が小さい隙間通路が形成されていることを特徴とする請求項5に記載のブロワ。 - 前記軸穴の後端側であって前記軸受より前記軸穴側で、前記パージガス通路の一部が、前記回転軸の先端側の外周面上に開口するとともに、前記パージガス通路の他の部分が、前記回転軸の径方向および軸方向後方側に延びていることを特徴とする請求項1ないし3のいずれか一項に記載のブロワ。
- 前記パージガス通路の他の部分が、前記軸受より前記回転軸の後端側であって前記回転軸の先端側の外周面より径方向内方側で、前記回転軸の径方向に広がる端面上に開口していることを特徴とする請求項7に記載のブロワ。
- 前記パージガスを前記内部空間中の前記軸受より前記軸穴側に導入するパージガス通路の一部が、前記軸受の内周面に向かって放射外方向に開口していることを特徴とする請求項7または8に記載のブロワ。
- 前記パージガス通路の一部が、前記軸受の内輪に向かって放射外方向に開口する第1の溝部分と、該第1の溝部分から前記軸穴側に延びて前記断熱部と前記軸受の間で前記回転軸の外周面上に開口する複数の第2の溝部分と、を有していることを特徴とする請求項9に記載のブロワ。
