また、例えば、従来の二酸化炭素吸着材としては、下記一般式で表されるアミン化合物からなる群より選ばれる少なくとも一種のアミン化合物と担体を含む組成物を用いるものもある(以下の式中、R1及びR2は、各々独立して、水素原子、又は炭素数1~4のアルキル基を表す。nは、0又は1を表す。R9は、水素原子、炭素数1~4のアルキル基、炭素数3~4のアミノアルキル基、又は炭素数1~4のヒドロキシアルキル基を表す。R10及びR11は、各々独立して、炭素数1~4のアルキレンを表す。)(特許文献4参照)。

第1の実施形態に係る二酸化炭素吸着材は、第1級アミノ基からなる第1アミノ基と、第1級アミノ基、第2級アミノ基又は第3級アミノ基からなる第2アミノ基と、前記第1アミノ基と前記第2アミノ基とを連結する、炭素数1~3の直鎖状のアルキル基又は炭素数3~4の分岐状のアルキル基で置換された、炭素数2~6の直鎖アルキレンと、を含むアミン化合物から構成される。
第2の実施形態に係る二酸化炭素吸着装置10は、第1の実施形態と同様に、前記二酸化炭素吸着材1と、前記基材21と、前記吸着部2とを備え、さらに、図4に示すように、前記吸着部2が固定されたフィルタからなるフィルタ部3を備える構成である。
第3の実施形態に係る二酸化炭素吸着装置10を用いた二酸化炭素吸着方法は、第1及び第2の実施形態と同様に、前記吸着工程(S1)を含み、さらに、図7に示すように、前記吸着工程(S1)により二酸化炭素を吸着した前記二酸化炭素吸着材1を加熱又は減圧し、二酸化炭素を放出させる再生工程(S2)を含むものである。
実施例1に係る二酸化炭素吸着材として、上述した以下の構造(2-4)を有するアミン化合物の市場から入手した。
上記実施例1と同様に、上記実施例1に係るアミン化合物と、従来品のアミン化合物の各々について、シリカに担持させ、このシリカを上述のハニカム構造を有するフィルタ部3に担持させて、上述の実施形態3の二酸化炭素吸着装置10を構築した。このハニカム構造を有する二酸化炭素吸着装置を用いて二酸化炭素吸着の動的性能を確認するための動的性能試験を以下の条件下で実施した。
・吸着ゾーン入口温度TP1=23.5℃, 吸着ゾーン入口絶対湿度XP1=12g/kg', 吸着ゾーン入口二酸化炭素濃度400ppm
・脱離ゾーン入口温度TR1=45℃, 脱離ゾーン入口絶対湿度XR1=18.5g/kg', 脱離ゾーン入口二酸化炭素濃度550ppm
実施例3に係る二酸化炭素吸着材として、以下の構造を有するアミン化合物を市場から入手した(上から順に、エチレンジアミン、2-メチル-1, 3-プロパンジアミン、1, 4-ジアミノブタン)。これらのアミン化合物は、各々、炭素鎖長の違いや、炭素鎖の分岐の有無に違いがある。これらのアミン化合物の各々について、上記実施例1と同様に、シリカに担持させ、吸着材を作製した。

前記アミン化合物が、
炭素数1~6のアルコキシ基により置換されたケイ素原子と、
前記ケイ素原子と、前記第2アミノ基中の窒素原子と、を連結する、炭素数1~6の直鎖アルキレンと、を含み、
二酸化炭素の吸着処理の際に、前記直鎖アルキレンの一部を置換する前記アルキル基によって、前記第1アミノ基と前記第2アミノ基のアミノ基間で、二酸化炭素分子が立体的に接近し難い最適な立体障害を形成することにより、酸素共存下において経年劣化の発生を抑制し、二酸化炭素吸着処理の繰り返し使用に対して高い耐久性を持つことを特徴とする
二酸化炭素吸着材。 - 請求項1に記載の二酸化炭素吸着材において、
前記アミン化合物が、以下の一般式(1)で表されるアミン化合物であることを特徴とする

前記アミン化合物に二酸化炭素含有ガスを接触させて、二酸化炭素含有ガスから二酸化炭素を分離させることを特徴とする

前記吸着部が、二酸化炭素吸着材をシランカップリング反応、含浸、蒸発乾固その他の接着により前記基材に担持されてなることを特徴とする
二酸化炭素吸着装置。 - 請求項4に記載の二酸化炭素吸着装置において、
前記吸着部が固定されたフィルタからなるフィルタ部を備えることを特徴とする
二酸化炭素吸着装置。 - 請求項3の二酸化炭素吸着装置を製造する製造方法であって、
前記二酸化炭素吸着材を、噴霧、浸漬、塗布、又はシランカップリング反応、含浸、蒸発乾固その他の接着を用いて前記基材に担持させる担持工程を含むことを特徴とする
二酸化炭素吸着装置の製造方法。 - 請求項3の二酸化炭素吸着装置に、二酸化炭素含有ガスを流通させて、二酸化炭素を吸着させる吸着工程を含むことを特徴とする
二酸化炭素吸着方法。 - 請求項7に記載の二酸化炭素吸着方法において、
前記吸着工程により二酸化炭素を吸着した前記二酸化炭素吸着材を加熱又は減圧し、二酸化炭素を放出させる再生工程を含むことを特徴とする
二酸化炭素吸着方法。
