- Exhaust Gas Treatment By Means Of Catalyst (AREA)
Description
上記課題を解決するために、本発明の他の触媒暖機装置は、エンジンに連通された排気管における、エンジンと浄化触媒との間に設けられるファンで構成され、浄化触媒に向けて送風可能な送風部と、浄化触媒に燃料を保持させる燃料供給部と、エンジンの始動前における所定の開始タイミングで送風部の駆動を開始する送風制御部と、を備え、送風制御部は、エンジンを停止する際に、スロットル弁、吸気ポート、および、排気ポートを開弁させ、燃料供給部は、開始タイミングにおいて、エンジンを構成する燃料噴射部からの燃料の噴射を行う。
図1は、本実施形態にかかるエンジンシステム100を説明する図である。なお、図1中、信号の流れを破線の矢印で示す。
図1に示すように、触媒暖機装置200は、送風部210と、燃料供給部220と、送風制御部230とを含む。
続いて、触媒暖機装置200を用いた触媒暖機方法について説明する。図2は、本実施形態の触媒暖機方法の処理の流れを示すフローチャートである。図2に示すように、触媒暖機方法は、燃料保持処理S110、開始判定処理S120、送風開始処理S130、計時開始処理S140、時間経過判定処理S150、終了判定処理S160、送風停止処理S170を含む。以下、各処理について説明する。
燃料供給部220は、エンジンEを停止する際の1回の燃焼サイクル中において、インジェクタ150を制御して、少なくともポスト噴射を実行させる。ポスト噴射によって噴射された燃料は、未燃のままエンジンEから排気ガスとともに排気管160へと排出され、浄化触媒162に保持される。
送風制御部230は、エンジンEの始動前であって、上記開始タイミングであるか否かを判定する。その結果、送風制御部230は、開始タイミングであると判定した場合(S120におけるYES)、送風開始処理S130に移る。一方、送風制御部230は、開始タイミングではないと判定した場合(開始判定処理S120におけるNO)、当該触媒暖機方法を終了する。
送風制御部230は、送風部210の駆動を開始する。これにより、空気が吸気管140、吸気ポート124、燃焼室118、排気ポート126、排気管160を通じて浄化触媒162に導かれる。
送風制御部230は、計時を開始する。
送風制御部230は、計時開始処理S140において計時を開始してから、所定時間(例えば、10分)が経過したか否かを判定する。その結果、送風制御部230は、所定時間を経過したと判定した場合(S150におけるYES)、送風停止処理S170に移る。一方、送風制御部230は、所定時間を経過していないと判定した場合(時間経過判定処理S150におけるNO)、終了判定処理S160に移る。
送風制御部230は、終了タイミングであるか否かを判定する。その結果、送風制御部230は、終了タイミングであると判定した場合(S160におけるYES)、送風停止処理S170に移る。一方、送風制御部230は、終了タイミングではないと判定した場合(S160におけるNO)、時間経過判定処理S150に戻る。
送風制御部230は、送風部210を停止する。
図3は、第1の変形例にかかる触媒暖機装置300を説明する図である。図3に示すように、触媒暖機装置300は、送風部210と、送風制御部230と、燃料供給部310とを含む。上記触媒暖機装置200と等しい構成要素については、同一の符号を付して説明を省略する。
図4は、第2の変形例にかかる触媒暖機装置400を説明する図である。図4に示すように、触媒暖機装置400は、送風部210と、燃料供給部220と、分岐管410と、開閉弁412と、送風制御部430とを含む。上記触媒暖機装置200と等しい構成要素については、同一の符号を付して説明を省略する。
上記実施形態において、燃料供給部220が、インジェクタ150を制御して、エンジンEを停止する際にポスト噴射を行わせる場合を例に挙げた。しかし、燃料供給部220は、開始タイミングにおいて、インジェクタ150を制御して燃料を噴射させてもよい。この場合、送風制御部230によって送風部210の駆動が開始された後に、燃料供給部220は、インジェクタ150に燃料を噴射させるとよい。これにより、インジェクタ150によって噴射された燃料を効率よく浄化触媒162に保持させることが可能となる。

Claims (4)
- エンジンに連通された排気管における、前記エンジンと浄化触媒との間に設けられ、前記浄化触媒に向けて送風可能な送風部と、
前記エンジンを構成する燃料噴射部を制御して、ポスト噴射を行わせて、前記浄化触媒に燃料を保持させる燃料供給部と、
前記エンジンの始動前における所定の開始タイミングで前記送風部の駆動を開始する送風制御部と、
を備える触媒暖機装置。 - 前記燃料供給部は、前記エンジンを停止する際にポスト噴射を行わせる請求項1に記載の触媒暖機装置。
- エンジンに連通された排気管における、前記エンジンと浄化触媒との間に設けられ、前記浄化触媒に向けて送風可能な送風部と、
前記排気管における前記送風部と前記浄化触媒との間に燃料を供給して、前記浄化触媒に燃料を保持させる燃料供給部と、
前記エンジンの始動前における所定の開始タイミングで前記送風部の駆動を開始する送風制御部と、
を備える触媒暖機装置。 - エンジンに連通された排気管における、前記エンジンと浄化触媒との間に設けられるファンで構成され、前記浄化触媒に向けて送風可能な送風部と、
前記浄化触媒に燃料を保持させる燃料供給部と、
前記エンジンの始動前における所定の開始タイミングで前記送風部の駆動を開始する送風制御部と、
を備え、
前記送風制御部は、前記エンジンを停止する際に、スロットル弁、吸気ポート、および、排気ポートを開弁させ、
前記燃料供給部は、前記開始タイミングにおいて、前記エンジンを構成する燃料噴射部からの燃料の噴射を行う触媒暖機装置。
