Description
まず、図1を用いて、実施形態に係る放電ランプの構成例について説明する。図1は、実施形態に係る放電ランプの側面図である。図1に示すように、実施形態に係る放電ランプ1は、発光管10と、一対の口金11と、一対の接点12と、一対の電極20と、蛍光体30とを有する。一対の電極20は、発光管10の長さ方向の両端部に設けられており、発光管10を支持する一対の口金11の端部に位置するピン状の一対の接点12にそれぞれ接続されている。
図7は、実施形態に係る液晶パネル製造装置の斜視図である。図7に示す液晶パネル製造装置100は、複数の照射ユニット101A、101B、101C等を具備する。なお、複数の照射ユニット101A~101C等を区別しない場合は、照射ユニット101とする場合がある。液晶パネル製造装置100は、9つの照射ユニット101を有する。すなわち、液晶パネル製造装置100は、並列して照射工程を行うことが可能である。具体的には、液晶パネル製造装置100が、9枚の被処理パネル6に同時に紫外線を照射することが可能である。

Claims (4)
- 光反応性物質を含有する被処理パネルを照射する液晶パネル製造用の放電ランプであって、
発光管と;
前記発光管の両端部に設けられる一対の電極と;
を具備し、
前記発光管を透過して放射される放射光のうち、200[nm]以上400[nm]以下の波長域に対する280[nm]以上340[nm]以下の波長域の強度比が83[%]以上である、放電ランプ。 - 前記発光管には、ストロンチウム、マグネシウムおよびバリウムのうち、一以上を有するアルミン酸塩と、賦活剤としてのセリウムとを含有する蛍光体が封入される、請求項1に記載の放電ランプ。
- 被処理パネルを照射する複数の照射部;
を具備し、
前記複数の照射部は、請求項1または2に記載の放電ランプを有する、液晶パネル製造装置。 - 前記被処理パネルは、液晶層と、前記液晶層を挟んで対向する一対の基板とを有し、
前記照射部は、電圧を印加した前記液晶層に紫外線を照射する、請求項3に記載の液晶パネル製造装置。
