Description
第1フィラメントとして255℃の融点のポリエチレンテレフタレート(PET)と、第2フィラメントとして210℃の融点の共重合ポリエステル(CoPET)を、それぞれ、紡糸温度285℃にて連続押出機を利用して溶融させた。
前記実施例1で前記第1フィラメントを下記表1のように形成したことを除いては、実施例1と同様の方法を用いて不織布を製造した。
走査電子顕微鏡(SEM)断面イメージを通じて、異形(Y型)フィラメントの幅と腕の長さを計算して、異形度および比率を測定する。
ASTM F316法を利用して測定する。
TOPAS AFC-131(エアフィルタ(Air Filter)ろ過性能装置)を用いて不織布のろ過性能を評価する。
フィルタ濾材に3.0~5.0μmの粉塵粒子を通過させた際に、フィルタ濾材に捕集される比率を測定する。
75.6m3/hの風速でフィルタ濾材の通過の前後の初期圧力損失を測定する(RS K 0011)。
同一のサンプル規格及び風速で、粉塵粒子の濃度を70mg/m3とし、最終圧力が100Paになった時、フィルタに捕集された粉塵粒子の重量を測定する(RSK K 0011)。
同一のサンプル規格及び風速で、粉塵粒子の濃度を70mg/m3とし、最終圧力が100Paに到達するときまでの時間を測定する。

Claims (11)
- 融点が250℃以上でY型断面を有するポリエステルの第1フィラメント、および、融点が150~220℃で円形断面を有するポリエステルの第2フィラメントを含んでなる混繊糸長繊維不織布において、
前記Y型断面の異形度(外接円の半径(B)/内接円の半径(A))が2.0~3.2であり、かつ断面積が0.11~0.20mm2であることを特徴とする、ろ過性能が向上した不織布。 - 前記第1フィラメントの繊度は、3~7デニールであることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のろ過性能が向上した不織布。
- 前記不織布の比表面積が0.2~0.3m2/gであることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のろ過性能が向上した不織布。
- 前記融点が250℃以上でY型断面を有するポリエステルの第1フィラメント80~95重量%、および、融点が150~220℃で円形断面を有するポリエステルの第2フィラメント5~20重量%を含む、請求項1に記載のろ過性能が向上した不織布。
- 前記第2フィラメントは、繊度が1~5デニールである、請求項1に記載のろ過性能が向上した不織布。
- 前記第1フィラメントの融点は、前記第2フィラメントの融点よりも40℃以上高い、請求項1に記載のろ過性能が向上した不織布。
- 融点が250℃以上であるポリエステルの第1フィラメント80~95重量%、および、融点が150~220℃であるポリエステルの第2フィラメント5~20重量%を含んで混繊紡糸するのであって、
前記第1フィラメントは、Y型断面で異形度(外接円の半径(B)/内接円の半径(A))が2.0~3.2になり、かつ断面積が0.11~0.20mm2になるようにして、混繊糸を製造する段階;
前記混繊糸を積層してウェブを形成する段階;および
前記ウェブについてカレンダローラを通過させて熱接着するカレンダリング工程を行って不織布を製造する段階;を含む、ろ過性能が向上した不織布の製造方法。 - 前記第1フィラメントは、繊度が3~7デニールであることを特徴とする、請求項7に記載のろ過性能が向上した不織布の製造方法。
- 前記第2フィラメントは、繊度が1~5デニールであり、円形断面であることを特徴とする、請求項7に記載のろ過性能が向上した不織布の製造方法。
- 前記第1フィラメントの融点は、前記第2フィラメントの融点よりも40℃以上高い、請求項7に記載のろ過性能が向上した不織布の製造方法。
- 前記カレンダローラは、前記第2フィラメントを溶融させて接着機能を示し得る温度に加熱したことを特徴とする、請求項7に記載のろ過性能が向上した不織布の製造方法。
