溶接金属の機械的性質は、JIS Z 3111:2005に規定される「溶着金属の引張及び衝撃試験方法」に準拠した引張試験及び衝撃試験により評価した。その結果、降伏応力(YS)については、460MPa以上であったものを合格とした。引張強度(TS)については570MPa以上850MPa以下の範囲であったものを合格とした。また、低温靭性については、-60℃におけるシャルピー吸収エネルギーが70J以上であって、且つ、-60℃におけるシャルピー脆性破面率が40%以下であったものを合格とした。
溶接金属の拡散水素量の評価は、30℃、80%RH環境下で1週間放置したワイヤについて、JIS Z 3118:2007に準拠した方法により行った。その結果、拡散性水素量が5ml/100g以下のものを合格とした。
溶接作業性は、上記表3に示す母材に対して、立向上進すみ肉溶接を行い、以下により評価した。その結果、滑らかなすみ肉ビードに対して、凸部が2mm未満の場合をA、凸部が2mm以上3mm未満の場合をB、凸部が3mm以上又は溶融金属が垂れ落ち溶接不可の場合をCとした。また、スパッタ量、ヒューム量について、母材への付着量や溶接アークの見づらさの観点で溶接作業性を阻害する場合についてもCとした。評価がAのものを合格とした。

- 鋼製外皮と、該外皮に内包されるフラックスとを有するフラックス入りワイヤであり、
該ワイヤはそのワイヤの全質量中の各成分の含有率が、
Fe:83.0質量%以上93.0質量%以下、
TiO 2 :5.0質量%以上7.0質量%以下、
Si:0.2質量%以上1.0質量%以下、
C:0.02質量%以上0.10質量%以下、
Mn:1.0質量%以上3.0質量%以下、
Mg:0.30質量%以上0.70質量%以下、
Ni:0.70質量%以上3.00質量%以下、
Cr:0.50質量%以下、
F:0.10質量%以上0.50質量%以下、並びに
Na及びKの総量:0.05質量%以上0.30質量%以下
であり、
該外皮はその外皮の全質量あたり、
C:0.010質量%以上0.070質量%以下、
Mn:0.10質量%以上0.40質量%以下、
Si:0.005質量%以上0.10質量%以下、
Ni:0.005質量%以上0.10質量%以下、
Cr:0.005質量%以上0.10質量%以下、
N:0.0010質量%以上0.0050質量%以下、及び
O:0.0010質量%以上0.0075質量%以下を含有し、
残部がFe及び不可避的不純物からなる外皮であり、
前記外皮の酸素含有率[O]に対する前記ワイヤのMg含有率[Mg]の比である[Mg]/[O]が65以上であり、
前記ワイヤの全質量中における、F含有量を[F]、Na含有量を[Na]、K含有量を[K]、Mg含有量を[Mg]、及びTiO2含有量を[TiO2]とするとき、これらの関係が下記式を満たす、フラックス入りワイヤ。
[F]/([Na]+[K]+[Mg]/3+[TiO2]/15)≧0.05 - 前記外皮は、継ぎ目なしに形成されている請求項1に記載のフラックス入りワイヤ。
- 前記ワイヤはその全質量中の各成分の含有率が、さらに
ZrO2:0.50質量%以下
Al2O3:0.50質量%以下
Mo:0.50質量%以下
Cu:0.50質量%以下
金属Ti:0.25質量%以下
金属Al:0.20質量%以下
B:0.0200質量%以下、及び
Li:0.30質量%以下
のうち、いずれか1以上を満たす請求項1又は請求項2に記載のフラックス入りワイヤ。
