Description
正極活物質であるコバルト酸リチウム、アセチレンブラック、ポリフッ化ビニリデン(PVDF)を質量比94:3:3で混合し、N-メチルピロリドン(NMP)を溶媒として添加して固形分含有量が75%のスラリーに調製し、均一に撹拌した。スラリーを厚さが12μmのアルミニウム箔の一方の表面に均一に塗布し、90℃の条件下で乾燥させ、冷間プレス後に正極活物質層の厚さが100μmの正極シートを得た。そして、該正極シートの他方の表面に以上の操作を再度に行い、両面に正極活物質層が塗布された正極シートを得た。正極シートを切断して形を整え、タブを溶接した後に、後続の実験に使用した。
製造されたプロピレン-フッ化ビニリデン共重合体、N-ドデシルジメチルアミン、ポリジメチルシロキサンを質量比90:3:7で混合し、得られた混合物をアセトンに溶解し、固形分含有量が40%の接着剤スラリーを得た。該接着剤スラリーを第1多孔質基材(厚さ9μm、材質がポリエチレン、孔隙率36%)の両面に均一に塗布し、ポリマー接着層を形成し、単層のポリマー接着層の厚さを2μmにした。
負極活物質である人造黒鉛、アセチレンブラック、スチレンブタジエンゴム及びカルボキシメチルセルロースナトリウムを質量比96:1:1.5:1.5で混合し、脱イオン水を溶媒として添加して固形分含有量が70%のスラリーに調製し、均一に撹拌した。スラリーを厚さが8μmの銅箔の一方の表面に均一に塗布し、110℃の条件下で乾燥させ、冷間プレス後に負極活物質層の厚さが150μmの、片面に負極活物質層が塗布された負極シートを得た。そして、該負極シートの他方の表面に以上の塗布操作を再度に行い、両面に負極活物質層が塗布された負極シートを得た。負極シートを切断して形を整え、タブを溶接した後に、後続の実験に使用した。
第2多孔質基材は、厚さが9μm、材質がポリエチレン、孔隙率が36%であった。
含水量が10ppm未満の環境下に、非水有機溶媒である炭酸エチレン(EC)、炭酸ジエチル(DEC)、炭酸プロピレン(PC)、プロピオン酸プロピル(PP)、炭酸ビニレン(VC)を質量比20:30:20:28:2で混合し、得られた非水有機溶媒に六フッ化リン酸リチウム(LiPF6)を添加、溶解し、均一に混合してLiPF6と非水有機溶媒とを質量比8:92で含む電解液を得た。
図1を参照すると、巻回式リチウムイオン電池における電極アセンブリの横断面が示されている。巻回式リチウムイオン電池における電極アセンブリの横断面は、順に積層された第1電極シート1、第1セパレータ3、第2電極シート2、第2セパレータ4、第1電極シート1に設けられた複数の第1タブ5、及び第2電極シート2に設けられた複数の第2タブ6を有する。また、電極アセンブリの各機能層が巻き終わる時に、第2セパレータ4が最外側に位置する。
巻き取った電極アセンブリを外装用アルミラミネートフィルムからなる外装体に置き、注液口を設置した。注液口から電解液を注入し、封止、さらに化成、容量グレード分け等の工程を経てリチウムイオン電池を製造した。

前記第2セパレータは第2多孔質基材を含み、
前記第1電極シート、前記第1セパレータ、前記第2電極シート及び前記第2セパレータは、順に積層設置されて電極アセンブリを形成しており、
前記第1多孔質基材の少なくとも一方の表面にはポリマー接着層が設けられており、
前記第2多孔質基材の両面のいずれにもポリマー接着層が設けられておらず、

- 前記第1多孔質基材と前記ポリマー接着層との間に、無機材料層がさらに設けられている、請求項1~3のいずれか一項に記載の電気化学装置。
- 前記第2多孔質基材の表面には、前記無機材料層が設けられていない、請求項4に記載の電気化学装置。
- 前記第1電極シートは正極シートであり、前記第2電極シートは負極シートであるか、又は前記第1電極シートは負極シートであり、前記第2電極シートは正極シートである、請求項1に記載の電気化学装置。
- 前記ポリマー接着層は、面密度が0.5mg/1540.25mm2~10mg/1540.25mm2である、請求項1~3のいずれか一項に記載の電気化学装置。
- 前記第1多孔質基材及び前記第2多孔質基材は、それぞれ独立して、ポリエチレン、ポリプロピレン、ポリエチレンテレフタレート、ポリ-p-フェニレンテレフタルアミド、ポリブチレンテレフタレート、ポリエステル、ポリアセタール、ポリアミド、ポリカーボネート、ポリイミド、ポリエーテルエーテルケトン、ポリアリールエーテルケトン、ポリエーテルイミド、ポリアミドイミド、ポリベンゾイミダゾール、ポリエーテルスルホン、ポリフェニレンエーテル、シクロオレフィンコポリマー、ポリフェニレンサルファイド、及びポリ(2-ビニルナフタレン)からなる群から選ばれる少なくとも1種のポリマーからなるポリマーフィルム、多層ポリマーフィルム、または不織布である、請求項1~3のいずれか一項に記載の電気化学装置。
- 前記ポリマー接着層は、ポリマーを含み、
前記ポリマーは、フッ化ビニリデン-ヘキサフルオロプロピレン共重合体、フッ化ビニリデン-トリクロロエチレン共重合体、ポリアクリル酸エステル、ポリアクリル酸、ポリアクリル酸塩、ポリアクリロニトリル、ポリビニルピロリドン、ポリ酢酸ビニル、エチレン-酢酸ビニル共重合体、ポリイミド、ポリエチレンオキシド、酢酸セルロース、セルロースアセテートブチレート、セルロースアセテートプロピオネート、シアノエチル化アミロペクチン、シアノエチル化ポリビニルアルコール、シアノエチルセルロース、シアノエチルスクロース、アミロペクチン、カルボキシメチルセルロース、カルボキシメチルセルロースナトリウム、カルボキシメチルセルロースリチウム、アクリロニトリル-スチレン-ブタジエン共重合体、ポリビニルアルコール、スチレン-ブタジエン共重合体及びポリフッ化ビニリデンからなる群から選ばれる少なくとも1つを含む、請求項1~3のいずれか一項に記載の電気化学装置。 - 前記無機材料層は、無機粒子を含み、
前記無機粒子は、二酸化ケイ素、酸化アルミニウム、酸化チタン、酸化亜鉛、酸化マグネシウム、二酸化ハフニウム、酸化スズ、酸化ジルコニウム、酸化イットリウム、炭化ケイ素、ベーマイト、水酸化マグネシウム、水酸化アルミニウム、チタン酸カルシウム、チタン酸バリウム、リン酸リチウム、リン酸チタンリチウム、チタン酸ランタンリチウムからなる群から選ばれる少なくとも1つを含む、請求項4または5に記載の電気化学装置。 - 請求項1~10のいずれか一項に記載の電気化学装置を備える電子装置。
