Claims (3)
- 光信号と電気信号とを一方から他方に変換可能な光電気変換素子を内蔵するプラグコネクタと、該プラグコネクタが嵌合されるレセプタクルコネクタとを有し、プラグコネクタとレセプタクルコネクタとが互いの端子の接触により電気的に接続されるコネクタ組立体が電子機器内の回路基板の面に配置されているコネクタ組立体配置構造において、
プラグコネクタは、上記光電気変換素子に前端側が接続された光信号の伝送のための光ファイバケーブルが該プラグコネクタから後方へ延出しているとともに、上記光電気変換素子に接続されている端子を有し、上記光ファイバケーブルが単芯の単一光ファイバケーブルをなし、
上記端子は、前後方向に延びる上記プラグコネクタの一対の側縁部のそれぞれに配列される側部端子と、前後方向に対して直角に延びる上記プラグコネクタの前端縁部に配列される端部端子とを有しており、
上記回路基板の両面の少なくとも一方に複数のコネクタ組立体が配置されることを特徴とするコネクタ組立体配置構造。 - 上記コネクタ組立体は、上記回路基板の一方の面に複数配置され、他方の面に1つもしくは複数配置されていることとする請求項1に記載のコネクタ組立体配置構造。
- 上記コネクタ組立体は、上記光ファイバケーブルの延出方向に見たときに、上記回路基板の一方の面と、他方の面とで、千鳥状に配置されていることとする請求項2に記載のコネクタ組立体配置構造。
