Description
図2に示すように、ポケット2によって軸心O回りに自転しながら横置き(軸心Oを水平H方向に向けた状態)に保持された底付円筒体1が、タレット(不図示)の間欠回転により開口部塗装用のスプレー装置3Aに対応する位置まで移動してこの位置に停止すると、開口部塗装用のスプレー装置3Aは、底付円筒体1の開口部10の内面領域に第1塗料を所定時間吹き付ける。そして、底付円筒体1の自転により、底付円筒体1の開口部10の内面領域の全周に亘って第1塗料を塗布する。
開口部塗装工程S1後、底付円筒体1は、ポケット2により横置き状態および軸心O回りの自転状態を維持しつつ、タレットの間欠回転により底部塗装用のスプレー装置3Bに対応する位置まで移動してこの位置に停止する。これを受けて、底部塗装用のスプレー装置3Bは、底付円筒体1の底部11の内面領域に第2塗料を所定時間吹き付ける。これにより、底付円筒体1の底部11の内面領域の全面に第2塗料を塗布する。第2塗料については、後述の胴部塗装工程S3で詳述する。
底部塗装工程S2後、底付円筒体1は、ポケット2により横置き状態および軸心O回りの自転状態を維持しつつ、タレットの間欠回転により胴部塗装用のスプレー装置3Cに対応する位置まで移動してこの位置に停止する。これを受けて、胴部塗装用のスプレー装置3Cは、底付円筒体1の開口部10および底部11の内面領域に一部オーバーラップさせつつ、自転中の底付円筒体1の胴部12の内面領域に第2塗料を所定時間吹き付ける。そして、底付円筒体1の自転により、底付円筒体1の胴部12の内面領域の全周に亘って第2塗料を塗布する。
底部塗装工程S2後、底付円筒体1の胴部12の内面領域に吹き付けられた第2塗料の揮発分が完全に揮発する前のウェットな状態において、底付円筒体1をポケット2から取り出して、底付円筒体1の軸心O回りの自転を停止するとともに、底付円筒体1を横置きから縦置き(軸心Oを垂直V方向に向けた状態)に変更する。例えば、第2塗料がノンボラ値20%のエポキシ系樹脂の塗料である場合、底部塗装工程S2終了から5秒以内に、底付円筒体1の軸心O回りの自転を停止して、底付円筒体1を横置きから縦置きに変更することが好ましい。それから、底付円筒体1を所定時間放置して第2塗料の揮発分を揮発させる。なお、揮発工程S4は、缶内面塗装装置内で実施するようにしてもよいし、あるいは、缶内面塗装装置の下流側に設置される搬送コンベアで実施するようにしてもよい。
Claims (3)
- 缶、ボトル缶の缶胴となる底付円筒体の内面を塗装する缶内面塗装方法であって、
前記底付円筒体を横置きにして前記底付円筒体の軸心回りに回転させながら、前記底付円筒体の開口部の内面領域に、第1塗料を吹き付ける開口部塗装工程と、
前記開口部塗装工程後に、前記底付円筒体の横置き状態および軸心回りの回転状態を維持しつつ、前記底付円筒体の胴部の内面領域に、第2塗料を吹き付ける胴部塗装工程と、
前記胴部塗装工程後、前記底付円筒体の胴部の内面領域に吹き付けられた前記第2塗料の揮発分が揮発する前に、前記底付円筒体の軸心回りの回転を停止して、前記底付円筒体を横置きから縦置きに変更し、前記第2塗料の揮発分を揮発させる揮発工程と、を有し、
前記第1塗料は、前記第2塗料よりも不揮発分が多く、前記第2塗料よりも垂れ難い合成樹脂の塗料である
ことを特徴する缶内面塗装方法。 - 請求項1に記載の缶内面塗装方法であって、
前記第1塗料は、ノンボラ値24%~35%であり、
前記第2塗料は、ノンボラ値15%~23%である
ことを特徴とする缶内面塗装方法。 - 請求項1または2に記載の缶内面塗装方法であって、
前記揮発工程に先立って、前記底付円筒体の底部の内面領域に、前記第2塗料を吹き付ける底部塗装工程をさらに有する
ことを特徴とする缶内面塗装方法。
