Description
本発明のスパンボンド不織布は、エチレン/(メタ)アクリル酸コポリマーのアイオノマーがシースを形成し、ポリアミドがコアを形成する、シース/コア構造を有する、ある純度の二成分連続繊維を含む。
本明細書では、上記のスパンボンド不織布を含むか、またはそれから製造された不織複合材料がさらに開示される。
I-1:エチレン/メタクリル酸コポリマーのアイオノマー;MFR:23g/10分;モノマー中の酸含有量:15重量%;中和レベル:14.8%;Surlyn(登録商標)AD8545の商品名でDuPontから入手した。
I-2:エチレン/メタクリル酸コポリマーのアイオノマー;MFR:14g/10分;モノマー中の酸含有量:15重量%;中和レベル:22%;Surlyn(登録商標)1702の商品名でDuPontから入手した。
PA:ポリアミド6、Wuxi Chang’an Polymer Companyから入手した、セミダル繊維1800-1のグレードを有する。
PE:高密度ポリエチレン、Petro China Fushun Companyから入手した、グレード2911FSを。
基材:約40重量%のガラス繊維および60重量%のポリプロピレンを含む自己拡張ガラス繊維強化熱可塑性シートであって、自己拡張ガラス繊維強化熱可塑性シートの全重量に基づいて、約1000g/m2の坪量を有する。
CE1~CE4およびE1~E6のそれぞれで、2つの押し出し機(1つはシース用、1つはコア用)および同心円設計の紡糸口金を備えたスパンボンドラインでスパンボンド不織布を調製した。E1~E6の不織布は、220℃に設定したシース押し出し機にアイオノマーを充填し、265℃に設定したコア押し出し機にPAを充填した。アイオノマーおよびPAは、各押し出し機で溶融され、次に275℃に設定されたスピンパックに押し出され、最後に同心円設計の紡糸口金から排出された。得られた二成分繊維は、続いてスロットジェットを通過し、そこで強い空気流によってさらに減衰され、約30μmの直径のシース-コア構造の繊維がもたらされた。これらの二成分繊維は、その後、コンベヤベルト上に置かれ、ドットパターンを備えた一対のニップロール(70℃に設定)で熱間圧延され、最終的なスパンボンド不織布を得た。CE1~CE4の不織布の場合、ポリエチレンの軟化点(120℃)はアイオノマーの軟化点(60~70℃)より高いため、ニップロール温度を120℃に設定した以外は、プロセスは基本的に上記と同じであった。
CE5~CE6およびE7~E12のそれぞれにおいて、不織複合材料は、比較例CE2~CE3および実施例E1~E6のスパンボンド不織布をそれぞれ前駆体として、ホットプレスプロセスを使用して調製した。ホットプレスにはプラテンプレス機を使用した。これらの不織布の各層は縦方向に優勢な配向を有していたため、バランスの取れた構造を得るために、これらの積層体の繊維配向は、優勢な配向に対して各層を単に回転させ、前の層の上に配置することによって構成した。方法は3つの工程で行った:1)2つの剥離紙に挟まれたクロスレイヤ不織布を、上部プレートと下部プレート(どちらも140℃に設定)との間に配置し、形状を保持するために非常に低い圧力を適用して5分間予熱し、その後、試料を脱気できるように上部プレートおよび下部プレートを開いた、2)続いて、40バールの圧力を加えて、積み重ねた不織布を約10分間プレスし、その間、シース層は、溶融して、マトリックスを形成するはずであり、一方で、PAコア繊維は、補強を提供するように、そのままであり、3)最後に、ホットシート試料を、約2分間冷却するために、2つのコールドプレート間で移動させ、不織複合シートが得られ得る。
E13では、E6の不織布の1つの層を、基材である自己拡張ガラス繊維強化熱可塑性シート上に熱ラミネートすることにより、不織複合材料を調製した。不織布を基材の最上部上に配置して、アセンブリを形成した。そして、このアセンブリを約140℃で一対のニップロールに通して、シース内のアイオノマーを溶融させ、基材の表面に結合させて、不織複合材料を得た。
穿刺試験:穿刺力は、修正されたASTM 3480に準拠して、Spencer振り子穿刺試験機を使用して測定した。鋭い先端の穿刺振り子を6400gの負荷で使用した。振り子を解放して、空圧式Oリング式クランプで固定された不織布を叩いて振る。不織布が破裂し、穿刺力が記録された。様々な坪量の不織布の穿刺力を比較するために、次式を使用して穿刺力を正規化した。
そして、正規化された穿刺力は「gf/(g/m2)」の単位で報告される。
が、シース成分が異なる場合、シース/コアとしてアイオノマー/PAを使用した不織布(E4)は、シース/コアとしてPE/PAを使用した不織布(CE4)よりも高い穿刺力を提供し、E4の不織布は、CE3の不織布よりも高い正規化された穿刺力を提供する。アイオノマー/PA不織布は、PE/PA不織布よりも改善された耐穿刺性を提供する。
シースとコアとの間の重量比は同じであるが、シース/コアとしてアイオノマー/PAを使用した、異なるシース成分の不織複合材料(E10)は、23℃でシース/コアとしてPE/PAを使用した不織複合材料(CE6)よりも高い衝撃エネルギーを提供し、E10の不織複合材料もまた、-40℃でCE6よりも高い衝撃エネルギーを提供する。アイオノマー/PA不織布は、PE/PA不織布よりも改善された耐衝撃性を提供する。
Claims (10)
- シース/コア構造の、連続二成分繊維を含むスパンボンド不織布であって、エチレン/(メタ)アクリル酸コポリマーのアイオノマーが、前記シースを形成し、ポリアミドが、前記コアを形成している、スパンボンド不織布。
- 前記エチレン/(メタ)アクリル酸コポリマーのアイオノマーが、ASTM D1238に準拠して、190℃において、2160gの負荷で、12~60g/10分のメルトフローレートを有する、請求項1に記載のスパンボンド不織布。
- 前記エチレン/(メタ)アクリル酸コポリマーのアイオノマーが、0.1%~60%の範囲の中和レベルのナトリウムカチオンまたは亜鉛カチオンで中和される、請求項1に記載のスパンボンド不織布。
- 前記エチレン/(メタ)アクリル酸コポリマーの前記アイオノマーのモノマー中の酸含有量が、1重量%~20重量%の範囲である、請求項1に記載のスパンボンド不織布。
