Description

上述したように、第3の実施形態によるシステム又は方法は、第1の実施形態と同様の構成を有するが、さらに選択的に取り外し可能に構成された器具を含む又は使用して、患者(又は臨床医)が、患者の歯に器具を選択的に設置及び取り外しができる。第3の実施形態による器具は、上述した雄型コネクタ要素の代わりに複数のキャップ(限定はしないが、アライナ、アクリル又はポリマーキャップなど)を含む。しかしながら、第3の実施形態による器具の他の特徴は、第1の実施形態の例に関して上述したように構成され、動作することができる(限定はしないが、図1~図3、図5、図6、図16及び図17に示される例を含む)。
上述したように、第4の実施形態によるシステム又は方法は、第2の実施形態と同様の構成を有する器具を含む又は使用するが、選択的に取り外し可能に構成され、患者(又は臨床医)が、器具を患者の歯に選択的に取り付け及び取り外すことができる。第2の実施形態と同様に、第4の実施形態による器具は、キャップを介して対応する複数の歯に個別に接続するように構成された複数の別個のアームを有し、器具の各アームは、異なる個々の歯を器具の他の各アームに対して接続するように構成されている。他の例では、アライナキャップの1つ以上(又は複数のアライナキャップのそれぞれ)を、個々に2つ以上の隣接する歯に接続して、例えば、一群の歯を一斉に移動させるか、又は追加の固定を提供することができる。
本明細書に記載の実施形態によるシステム及び方法は、1つの器具を使用して歯を移動又は再配置するため、又は例えば歯科的不正咬合の合併症に応じていくつかの器具を漸進的に使用することよって使用することができる。
Claims (19)
- 歯列矯正器具であって、
患者の複数の歯の後ろに、および、患者の複数の歯に沿って配置されるように構成されたアーチ状部材と
前記アーチ状部材から延びる複数のアームと、を含み、
前記複数のアームのそれぞれが、
(i)前記アーチ状部材から延びる第1の端部と、
(ii)自由な第2の端部と、
(iii)前記複数の歯の1本に結合されるように構成されたコネクタ部と、
(iv)付勢力を前記複数の歯の少なくとも1本に加えるように構成され、前記第1の端部と前記コネクタ部との間の前記アームに沿って配置されるばね部材と、を含み、
