- 一対のプーリおよび前記一対のプーリの間に巻き掛けられた伝動ベルトを有するベルト式無段変速機と、駆動力源から前記ベルト式無段変速機を介して一対の主駆動輪に出力される駆動力の一部を一対の副駆動輪に伝達する動力伝達経路に設けられた第1噛合クラッチと、を備える車両用動力伝達装置に関して、前記第1噛合クラッチを係合または解放して2輪駆動と4輪駆動とを切り替える車両用動力伝達装置の制御装置であって、
前記第1噛合クラッチは、前記動力伝達経路のうち前記駆動力源側の動力伝達部材に連結された駆動力源側噛合部材、および前記動力伝達経路のうち前記副駆動輪側の動力伝達部材に連結された副駆動輪側噛合部材と、前記駆動力源側噛合部材および前記副駆動輪側噛合部材を相互に係合させ或いは解放させるアクチュエータとを有し、
前記第1噛合クラッチを解放させる2輪駆動走行モードから前記第1噛合クラッチを係合させる4輪駆動走行モードへの切り替えが判定されてから前記第1噛合クラッチが係合するまでの間において、前記駆動力源側噛合部材の回転速度と前記副駆動輪側噛合部材の回転速度との回転速度差が予め定められた値より大きい場合には、前記ベルト式無段変速機の前記一対のプーリに巻き掛けられた前記伝動ベルトに対する挟圧力を、前記回転速度差が前記予め定められた値以下の場合に比べて上昇させる
ことを特徴とする車両用動力伝達装置の制御装置。 - 前記駆動力源側噛合部材の回転速度と前記副駆動輪側噛合部材の回転速度との回転速度差が予め定められた値より大きいことは、前記一対の主駆動輪の平均車輪速と前記一対の副駆動輪の平均車輪速との車輪速度差が予め定められた車輪速度差より大きいことに基づいて判定される
ことを特徴とする請求項1の車両用動力伝達装置の制御装置。 - 前記駆動力源側噛合部材の回転速度と前記副駆動輪側噛合部材の回転速度との回転速度差が前記予め定められた値より大きい場合において上昇させられる前記伝動ベルトに対する挟圧力の上昇量は、前記第1噛合クラッチを係合させるときの前記ベルト式無段変速機の変速比が小さいほど大きくなるように設定されている

ことを特徴とする請求項1から3のいずれか1の車両用動力伝達装置の制御装置。 - 前記クラッチ機構により前記第2伝達経路が選択されている場合には、前記2輪駆動走行モードから前記4輪駆動走行モードへの切り替えが判定されてから前記第1噛合クラッチが係合するまでの間において、前記第1噛合クラッチにおける前記駆動力源側噛合部材の回転速度と前記副駆動輪側噛合部材の回転速度との回転速度差が前記予め定められた値より大きい場合に、前記伝動ベルトに対する挟圧力を上昇させる
ことを特徴とする請求項4の車両用動力伝達装置の制御装置。 - 前記駆動力源から前記ベルト式無段変速機を介して一対の主駆動輪に出力される駆動力の一部を一対の副駆動輪に伝達する動力伝達経路の、前記第1噛合クラッチと前記副駆動輪との間には、プロペラシャフトおよび第2噛合クラッチが直列に配置されており、
前記2輪駆動では前記第1噛合クラッチおよび前記第2噛合クラッチが共に解放され、
前記2輪駆動から前記4輪駆動へ切り替える場合には、前記第2噛合クラッチが係合させられた後に前記第1噛合クラッチが係合させられる
ことを特徴とする請求項1から5のいずれか1の車両用動力伝達装置の制御装置。
