Description
1.本願のハニカム構造体によれば、その表皮層の壁厚及び表皮に近接するハニカム本体の外側多孔質壁の壁厚の増加により、ハニカム構造体の強度を高めることができ、外側多孔質壁の壁厚の増加領域と異なる壁厚との比を制限することにより、ハニカム構造体は、強度を高める効果に対応するだけでなく、優れた耐熱衝撃性能及びより低い背圧を備える。
2.本願のハニカム構造体の作製方法によれば、該ハニカム構造体の作製方法は、ハニカム本体と表皮層とを一体成形することにより、表皮層を再度加工する必要がなく、生産効率が高く、製造コストが低い。
3.本願のハニカム構造フィルターによれば、該フィルターはガソリン粒子捕集装置などの車載フィルターとして用いられる場合、強度が高いだけでなく、優れた耐熱衝撃性及びより低い背圧を有する。
4.本願のハニカム構造体成形金型によれば、環状溝の幅、押出溝の配列の傾斜α角、及び押圧溝の外部セクションの押出溝の幅の増加は、作製されたハニカム構造体の強度を高めることができ、それと同時に、押圧溝の外部セクションの領域と押出溝の幅を制限することにより、成形金型によるハニカム構造体は、高強度、優れた耐熱衝撃性及び低背圧の特性を有する。
5.本願のハニカム構造体成形金型によれば、作製したハニカム構造体は一体成形され、ハニカム構造体の表皮層を再度加工する必要がなく、生産効率が高く、製造コストが低い。
実施例1 ハニカム構造体1#の作製
1)半製品の作製:コージェライトハニカムセラミックに焼成できるセラミック原料100g、バインダー6g、造孔剤15g及び潤滑剤2gをコールターで混合し、混合したバッチ材料を混練又は精製して半製品に作製し、ここで、セラミック半製品の原料は、コージェライトに作製可能なタルク、カオリン、か焼カオリン、アルミナ、水酸化アルミニウム、ベーマイト及びシリカの混合物を用いてもよく、バインダーはヒドロキシプロピルメチルセルロースを用い、造孔材はジャガイモ澱粉を用い、潤滑剤はトール油脂肪酸を用いる。
2)ブランクの作製:半製品をツインスクリュー押出機で押出成形し、第1金型によって円柱状のハニカム構造のブランクボディに作製した後、それを切断し、マイクロ波乾燥して、特定の高さのハニカムセラミックブランクに作製する。
3)目封止:ハニカムセラミックブランクをレーザーで打ち抜き、目封止して、「国際チェス」のように交差して目封止したハニカム構造体クロスプラグハニカム構造体を形成する。
4)焼結:目封止後のハニカムセラミックブランクを脱バインダー、焼成してハニカム構造体1#を作製する。ハニカム構造体1#の表皮層の壁厚は0.80mmであり、外側多孔質壁の壁厚は0.30mmであり、内側多孔質壁の壁厚は0.22mmであり、多孔質壁の内部セクションと、多孔質壁の外部セクション及び多孔質壁の内部セクションの合計との比(L2/L1)は0.8:1である。
実施例2 ハニカム構造体2#~9#、比較ハニカム構造体1#~6#の作製

実施例4 ハニカム構造体1#の作製における金型1′#の使用
1)半製品の作製:コージェライトハニカムセラミックに焼成可能なセラミック原料100g、バインダー6g、造孔剤15g及び潤滑剤2gをコールターで混合し、混合したバッチ材料を混練又は精製して半製品に作製し、セラミック半製品の原料は、コージェライトに作製可能なタルク、カオリン、か焼カオリン、アルミナ、水酸化アルミニウム、ベーマイト及びシリカの混合物を用いてもよく、バインダーはヒドロキシプロピルメチルセルロースを用い、造孔材はジャガイモ澱粉を用い、潤滑剤はトール油脂肪酸を用いる。
2)ブランクの作製:ツインスクリュー押出機で半製品を押出成形し、第1金型1′#によって円柱状のハニカム構造のブランクボディに作製した後、それを切断し、マイクロ波乾燥して、特定の高さのハニカムセラミックブランクに作製し、第1金型1′#の環状溝の幅は0.8mmであり、押圧溝の外部セクションの幅は0.30mmであり、押圧溝の内部セクションの幅は0.22mmであり、押圧溝の内部セクション/(押圧溝の内部セクションと押圧溝の外部セクションとの合計)の比(L2/L1)は0.8:1であり、押出溝の配列の側面と成形金型の軸線とがなす角度αは45°である。
3)目封止:ハニカムセラミックブランクをレーザーで打ち抜き、目封止して、「国際チェス」のように交差して目封止したハニカム構造体を形成する。
4)焼結:目封止後のハニカムセラミックブランクを脱バインダー、焼成してハニカム構造体1#を作製してなる。
実施例5 金型2~11′によるハニカム構造体2#~11#の作製、比較金型1~8′による比較ハニカム構造体1#~8#の作製
実施例6 ハニカム構造体10#、11#、比較ハニカム構造体7#、8#の性能試験
Claims (13)
- ハニカム本体及びハニカム本体を取り囲む表皮層を備え、前記ハニカム本体は、多孔質壁によって画定されて軸方向に延びる通路を含むハニカム構造体において、前記ハニカム本体の径方向断面の中心軸線から表皮層までの径方向経路は順次に多孔質壁の内部セクション及び多孔質壁の外部セクションからなり、前記多孔質壁の内部セクションに設けられる内側多孔質壁の平均壁厚が、多孔質壁の外部セクションに設けられる外側多孔質壁の平均壁厚よりも小さく、前記径方向経路における多孔質壁の内部セクションの長さ比率が80%~90%であり、前記表皮層の壁厚は0.5mm~1.1mmであり、前記内側多孔質壁の平均壁厚と外側多孔質壁の平均壁厚との比は1:1.27~1.8であることを特徴とするハニカム構造体。
- 前記内側多孔質壁及び/又は外側多孔質壁は均一な壁厚を有し、
前記内側多孔質壁の壁厚は0.15~0.40mmであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のハニカム構造体。 - 前記表皮層の壁厚は0.7mm~1mmであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のハニカム構造体。
- 前記ハニカム本体は円柱体であり、前記通路の径方向断面は正方形格子状構造であり、前記通路は吸気流路及び排気流路を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のハニカム構造体。
- 該方法は、原料を押出機によってハニカム本体及び表皮層が一体成形されたハニカム構造体に作製することを特徴とする請求項1~4のいずれか一項に記載のハニカム構造体の作製方法。
- ハニカム構造体により作製され、前記ハニカム構造体は請求項1~4のいずれか一項に記載のハニカム構造体、及び請求項5に記載の方法で作製されたハニカム構造体の中の少なくとも1種から選ばれたものであることを特徴とするハニカム構造フィルター。
- ハニカム構造体の押出成形金型あって、
前記押出成形金型は、上部原料注入部と下部押出部を含み、前記上部原料注入部に複数の原料注入孔が設けられ、前記下部押出部に交差した押出溝の配列及び前記押出溝の配列の周りに配置された金型スリーブが設けられ、前記押出溝の配列及び前記金型スリーブにより環状溝が形成され、前記複数の原料注入孔がそれぞれ前記押出溝及び環状溝に対応して連通するハニカム構造体の押出成形金型において、前記押出溝の配列の断面の中心軸線から環状溝までの金型径方向経路は、順次に押圧溝の内部セクション及び押圧溝の外部セクションからなり、前記押圧溝の内部セクションに設けられる押出溝の幅は、押圧溝の外部セクションに設けられる押出溝の幅よりも小さく、前記金型径方向経路の押圧溝の内部セクションの長さの比率が80%~87%であり、前記下部押出部の押出溝は成形金型の軸方向に延在し、前記押出成形金型の頂部から底部までの方向に沿って前記押出溝の配列の側面が内側へ傾斜して延在し、前記金型スリーブの内面の一部は前記押出溝の配列の側面と平行配置して環状溝を形成し、前記押出溝の配列の側面と前記押出成形金型の軸線とがなす角度は30°~60°であり、前記押圧溝の内部セクションの押出溝の平均幅と押圧溝の外部セクションの押出溝の平均幅との比は、1:1.27~1.8であることを特徴とするハニカム構造体の押出成形金型。 - 前記押圧溝の内部セクションの押出溝の平均幅は0.15mm~0.40mmであることを特徴とする請求項7に記載のハニカム構造体の押出成形金型。
- 前記環状溝の幅は、0.5mm~1.1mmであることを特徴とする請求項7に記載のハニカム構造体の押出成形金型。
- 前記押圧溝の内部セクションの幅が等しいか、及び/又は前記押圧溝の外部セクションの幅は等しいことを特徴とする請求項7に記載のハニカム構造体の押出成形金型。
- 前記押出溝の配列が前記環状溝と連通し、前記押出溝の配列の断面は正方形格子状構造を含むことを特徴とする請求項7に記載のハニカム構造体の押出成形金型。
- 前記原料注入孔は円柱状で、前記原料注入孔が前記押出溝の交差位置と連通することを特徴とする請求項7に記載のハニカム構造体の押出成形金型。
- 前記原料注入孔の深さは5mm~40mmであり、原料注入孔の孔径は0.6mm~3.0mmであることを特徴とする請求項7~12のいずれか一項に記載のハニカム構造体の押出成形金型。
