- 前記カムシャフトは、ぜんまい機構によって回転するように構成されている、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載のマイクロ流体デバイス。
- カムシャフト及びカムローブを含む1つ以上のカムと、
1つ以上のロッカアームと、
1つ以上の流路と、1つ以上の反応チャンバと、流体及び易壊性メンブレン封止材を含む1つ以上のバーストポーチと、を含むマイクロ流体カートリッジと、
前記カムシャフトを回転させるように構成されたカム機構と、を含むマイクロ流体デバイスであって、
前記1つ以上のロッカアームは、第1の端部に配置されたカム接触面と、第2の端部に配置されたポーチ接触面と、を備え、
前記1つ以上のカムは、前記カムシャフトが回転すると前記カムローブが前記1つ以上のロッカアームをアクチュエートするように構成されており、前記1つ以上のロッカアームは、アクチュエーションによって前記ロッカアームが開位置から閉位置に動いて、前記1つ以上のバーストポーチに圧力がかけられて、前記易壊性メンブレンが破れて前記流体が前記1つ以上の反応チャンバに放出されるように構成されており、
前記1つ以上のカムローブ及び前記1つ以上のロッカアームは、前記1つ以上のバーストポーチの前記易壊性メンブレン封止材が破られた後に前記ロッカアームが前記閉位置にとどまるように構成されており、
複数のカムローブ及びロッカアームが、前記カムシャフトが完全に1回転すると、前記ロッカアームが、時間的且つ空間的に制御された様式で複数のバーストポーチに圧力をかけるように構成されており、
試料調製チャンバを更に含み、前記試料調製チャンバはDNAキャプチャ用ビヒクルを含む、
マイクロ流体デバイス。 - 更に、前記カムシャフトの回転速度と、前記複数のカムローブ及び前記複数のロッカアームの前記構成とにより、前記複数のバーストポーチを、時間的に制御された様式で破裂させてDNA精製の洗浄段階を実施することが可能になる、請求項5に記載のマイクロ流体デバイス。
- 前記マイクロ流体カートリッジは更に、増幅チャンバ、ヒートシンク、及びヒータを含み、前記ヒートシンク及び前記ヒータは、前記複数のカムローブ及び前記複数のロッカアームのアクチュエーション後に前記増幅チャンバを断続的に冷却又は加熱するように構成されている、請求項6に記載のマイクロ流体デバイス。
- 更に、前記カムシャフトの回転速度と、前記複数のカムローブ及び前記複数のロッカアームの前記構成とにより、前記ヒートシンク及び前記ヒータが、時間的に制御された様式で前記増幅チャンバを断続的に冷却又は加熱してPCR熱サイクルを実施することが可能になる、請求項7に記載のマイクロ流体デバイス。
- 前記マイクロ流体カートリッジは更に、DNAキャプチャ用ビヒクルを含むDNAハイブリダイゼーションチャンバを含む、請求項6に記載のマイクロ流体デバイス。
- 前記1つ以上の弁は、ダイヤフラム弁、ピンチ弁、又は/及びロータリー弁を含む、請求項1に記載のマイクロ流体デバイス。
