Description
ろう付け材料は、ニッケル基またはコバルト基の超合金材料を有するガスタービンエンジン要素の製造および修理において使用することができる。例えば、ろう付け箔、スラリーまたはろう付けテープなどを損傷が生じた要素に適用することができる。この組立品を加熱し、それから冷却すると、ろう付けで修理された要素ができあがる。しかしながら、従来のホウ素またはケイ素でのろう付けによる修理は、本来の要素の構造強度に比べて構造強度が比較的低いと知られている。これは、1つとして、ろう付け合金の組成が原因となっている。それに加え、スラリーを使用する場合、このスラリーが非晶質性であるために、修理される領域の寸法の制御が困難である。結果として、当技術分野において改善の余地がある。
本発明者等は、ニッケル基およびコバルト基の超合金の修理を可能にする組成物を有する構造的ろう付け媒体を開発した。この組成物は、幾つかの実施形態において、ホウ素およびケイ素、ならびにホウ素およびケイ素の弱化作用を有しない。それに加え、この組成物は、ろう付け作業の間に不純物を清浄化するフラックス剤を含有することができ、これにより、不純物およびこれに係る欠点がより少ない修理された部品ができあがる。構造的ろう付け媒体は、ろう付けテープの形を取ることができ、このろう付けテープは、箔より柔軟性があり(これにより要素に対するろう付けテープの一致性をより良好にすることができる)、かつスラリーより粘着性がある(これにより修理の寸法をより良好に制御することが可能になる)。
Claims (12)
- 超合金材料(22)を含有する第一層(14);
ろう付け材料(32)を含有する第二層(16)であり、前記ろう付け材料が、ろう付け合金粉末と超合金粉末の混合物であり、前記ろう付け合金粉末が、ホウ素およびケイ素を含有しておらず、Ni−Cr−Tiからなり;および
ポリテトラフルオロエチレンを含有するフラックス材料を含有する第三層(18)
を有し、
前記第一層の厚さが、0.010インチ〜0.040インチ、前記第二層の厚さが、0.010インチ〜0.040インチであるろう付けテープ(12)。 - 第三層が、第一層と第二層の間に配置されている両面接着フルオロポリマーテープ(46)を含む、請求項1記載のろう付けテープ。
- 前記両面接着フルオロポリマーテープがポリテトラフルオロエチレンを含有する、請求項2記載のろう付けテープ。
- 第一層がさらにポリテトラフルオロエチレン粉末を含有する、請求項1記載のろう付けテープ。
- 合金層;
ろう付け材料層であり、前記ろう付け材料層が、ろう付け合金粉末及び超合金粉末を含有し、前記ろう付け材料層が、ホウ素を含有せず、前記ろう付け材料層の化学組成が、Ni−Cr−Tiであり;および
前記合金層と前記ろう付け材料層との間に配置されたポリテトラフルオロエチレン含有フラックス層
を有し、
前記合金層の厚さが、0.010インチ〜0.040インチ、前記ろう付け材料層の厚さが、0.010インチ〜0.040インチであるろう付けテープ。 - 前記フラックス層と前記合金層との間および前記フラックス層と前記ろう付け材料層との間に接着剤をさらに有する、請求項5記載のろう付けテープ。
- 前記合金層が合金粉末を含有する、請求項5記載のろう付けテープ。
- 前記フラックス層と接着剤とを有する両面接着ポリテトラフルオロエチレンテープをさらに有する、請求項5記載のろう付けテープ。
- 前記合金層がさらにポリテトラフルオロエチレンを含有する、請求項5記載のろう付けテープ。
- 前記合金層が高温ニッケル基超合金を含有する、請求項5記載のろう付けテープ。
- 超合金材料粉末を含有する層の上に配置された、ホウ素およびケイ素を含有しないろう付け材料粉末を含有する層を有し、前記ろう付け材料粉末の化学組成が、Ni−Cr−Tiであり、
前記超合金材料粉末を含有する層の厚さが、0.010インチ〜0.040インチ、前記ろう付け材料粉末を含有する層の厚さが、0.010インチ〜0.040インチであるろう付けテープ。 - 前記ろう付け材料粉末を含有する層と前記超合金材料粉末を含有する層との間に配置され、かつこれらに付着した両面接着フルオロカーボンポリマーテープをさらに有する、請求項11記載のろう付けテープ。
