Description
可変容量型の過給機では、タービンハウジング内に設けられた可変ノズルの複数のノズルベーンの角度を変えることにより、排気流路面積を変化させ、それによりタービンホイールに向かう排ガスの流速を変化させることで、過給圧を制御する。

Claims (3)
- 内燃機関に設けられ、可変ノズルの開度を閉じ側に変化させることによって、過給圧を上昇させるように構成された過給機と、
前記過給圧を取得する過給圧取得手段と、
前記過給機のタービン側の圧力に基づき、前記可変ノズルの閉じ側の開度を制限する制限値を設定する制限値設定手段と、
目標過給圧に向かって前記過給圧を上昇させる際、前記可変ノズルの開度を前記制限値に設定し、次いで、前記可変ノズルの開度を徐々に開き側に設定する開度設定手段と、
を備え、
前記開度設定手段は、前記可変ノズルの開度を前記制限値に設定した後、所定時間が経過するまでの間、前記可変ノズルの開度を、前記目標過給圧に対応する開度に近づけるように、所定の増加量ずつ増加させることを特徴とする、内燃機関の過給圧制御装置。 - 前記可変ノズルの開度の前記制限値は、前記目標過給圧に対応する開度よりも小さく、全閉開度よりも大きい値であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の内燃機関の過給圧制御装置。
- 前記タービン側の圧力は、前記タービンの上流側の圧力と前記タービンの下流側の圧力との比である膨張比である、請求項1又は2に記載の内燃機関の過給圧制御装置。
