Description
上述の実施形態では、リーダライタ・アンテナ6は、トンネル部12の内面の側面に設けられているが、これに限らず、例えばリーダライタ・アンテナ6は、トンネル部12の底面に設けられる形態であってもよい。
例えば突起部111の段差部分112は傾斜して突出する形態であってもよい。例えば図8に示すように、突起部111は対向領域7と重なり(突起部111の底面は対向領域7に包含され)、傾斜した段差部分112が、アンテナ6の電波放射面120と対向する形態であってもよい。この形態であっても、段差部分112のうち高低差を有する複数の領域間で電波の反射タイミングを異ならせることができるので、上述の実施形態と同様にヌルポイントをずらすことができる。
例えば図11に示すように、トンネル部12の入口および出口に、搬送対象の物体の搬送位置に応じて開閉する扉140が設けられる形態であってもよい。この形態によれば、リーダライタ・アンテナ6から放射される電波がトンネル部12の外に漏れることを抑制できるので、読み取り範囲(トンネル部12)外の無線タグ4を読み取ることを抑制しつつ読み取り範囲内の無線タグ4の読み取り精度を向上させることができる。

Claims (4)
- 無線タグが設けられた物体を載せて搬送する搬送部の一部の上部を取り囲むように設置されるトンネル部と、
前記トンネル部の内面に設けられ、電波を放射して前記無線タグの情報を読み取るアンテナ部と、
前記トンネル部の内面のうち前記アンテナ部と対向する領域の少なくとも一部に設けられ、前記領域から突出する突起部と、を備え、
前記トンネル部の内面は、電波を反射する材料を示す電波反射材で構成され、
前記突起部の段差部分は前記アンテナ部の電波を放射する面の中心に対向し、
前記段差部分の高さは、前記アンテナ部から放射された電波と、前記トンネル部の内面で反射した電波とが干渉して弱め合う場所をずらすことが可能な高さに設定される、
無線タグ読み取り装置。 - 前記段差部分の高さは、前記アンテナ部から放射される電波の1/4波長に相当する高さに設定される、
