Description
Claims (2)
- 複数の圧電体層を積層することによって形成されると共に、長方形状を呈し且つ互いに対向する一対の主面と、一対の前記主面の長辺方向で互いに対向する一対の端面と、一対の前記主面の短辺方向で互いに対向する一対の側面と、を有し、印加される電圧によって縦振動モードと屈曲振動モードとが合成された振動モードを発生させる圧電素子と、
前記圧電素子において一方の前記主面に配置されると共に、被駆動体に接触して該被駆動体との間に摩擦力を生じさせる第1摩擦部及び第2摩擦部と、を備え、
前記圧電素子は、
一方の前記主面において、一対の前記端面の対向方向において所定の間隔をあけて配置される少なくとも2つの外部電極と、
一対の前記側面の対向方向から見て、前記圧電素子の長手方向の中心を通り且つ一対の前記主面の対向方向に沿った直線に対して非対称となる位置に、前記屈曲振動モードにより最大振幅を生じる腹と、を有し、
前記第1摩擦部は、前記圧電素子の前記腹以外の位置で、且つ、前記圧電素子の前記長手方向の長さをLとした場合に、一方の前記端面からの距離が1/3L未満となる位置であって、一方の前記主面において、一方の前記外部電極よりも一方の前記端面側の位置に配置されており、
前記第2摩擦部は、前記圧電素子の前記腹以外の位置で、且つ、他方の前記端面からの距離が1/3L未満となる位置であって、一方の前記主面において、他方の前記外部電極よりも他方の前記端面側の位置に配置されている、圧電アクチュエータ。 - 前記圧電素子は、同一の前記圧電体層上に配置される4つの第1内部電極と、4つの前記第1内部電極と前記圧電体層を挟んで対向して配置され、前記第1内部電極との間に電圧が印加される第2内部電極と、を有し、
4つの前記第1内部電極のうち、2つの前記第1内部電極が第1の対角に位置し、他の2つの前記第1内部電極が前記第1の対角に交差する第2の対角に位置しており、
前記第1の対角又は前記第2の対角に位置する2つの前記第1内部電極が接続部材によって電気的に接続されている、請求項1に記載の圧電アクチュエータ。
