Description
そこで本発明は、安全性と安心感に優れ、配管等の設備へのダメージが少なく、かつ簡単な操作でレジオネラ属菌の殺菌・消毒ができる一連の技術を提供することを目的とする。
本発明の消毒剤の形状としては特に限定はなく、例えば、水溶液、分散液等の液体状;粉末、顆粒等の固体状;等の形状とすることができる。その他、半固体状、ペースト状、ゲル状、等の形状とすることができる。
水泳用プールの水を処理する場合は、例えば、鉄塩そのものを水泳用プールに投入し、所定時間保持すればよい。土壌に含まれる水を処理する場合は、例えば、本発明の消毒剤を土壌に散布すればよい。
一方、非特許文献2には、淡水アメーバには過剰のFeが致死的となる旨や、アメーバには鉄イオンが致命的である旨の記載がある(第92頁、第104頁)。しかし、いずれも実験データ等の根拠が示されておらず、この事象がどのアメーバで起こるものなのかも明確でない。また、これらの記載は、前述のPYG培地(ATCC712)に硫酸アンモニウム鉄(II)が含まれていることと矛盾している。さらに、他の文献で、鉄イオンがアメーバに致死的である旨の記載は見当たらない。これらのことから、少なくとも、全てのアメーバが鉄イオンで致死的となるわけではないといえる。
よって、非特許文献2の各記載は、少なくとも、レジオネラ属菌の宿主となるアメーバや、レジオネラ属菌を包含するアメーバに対する鉄イオンの影響について、何らの示唆を与えるものではない。

Claims (13)
- 硫酸鉄(II)、硫酸アンモニウム鉄(II)、及び塩化鉄(II)からなる群より選ばれた少なくとも1つの鉄塩を有効成分として含有することを特徴とするレジオネラ属菌に対する消毒剤。
- 前記鉄塩が硫酸鉄(II)である、請求項1に記載の消毒剤。
- 前記鉄塩が硫酸アンモニウム鉄(II)である、請求項1に記載の消毒剤。
- 前記鉄塩が塩化鉄(II)である、請求項1に記載の消毒剤。
- 請求項1に記載の消毒剤を処理対象の水に添加して、前記水に含まれるレジオネラ属菌の増殖を抑制又は阻止することを特徴とする水の処理方法。
- 前記鉄塩が硫酸鉄(II)である、請求項5に記載の水の処理方法。
- 前記鉄塩が硫酸アンモニウム鉄(II)である、請求項5に記載の水の処理方法。
- 前記鉄塩が塩化鉄(II)である、請求項5に記載の水の処理方法。
- 前記処理対象の水が浴槽水又は空調冷却塔水である、請求項5〜8のいずれかに記載の水の処理方法。
- 前記処理対象の水に、前記鉄塩の濃度が0.1mM以上となるように前記鉄塩を含有させる、請求項5〜9のいずれかに記載の水の処理方法。
