Description
基油となるエーテル油1860gと、上記修飾パルプ140gとを計量し、ラボミキサーを用いて均一な修飾パルプ懸濁液を作製した。この修飾パルプ懸濁液を、グラインドミルに通し、該懸濁液中のパルプの解繊を行なった。これにより、基油であるエーテル油中に、増ちょう剤である疎水性セルロースナノファイバーが分散した状態のグリース組成物を得た。なお、基油としたエーテル油はアルキルジフェニルエーテル油であり、基油の動粘度は表2に示すとおりである。このグリース組成物について、混和ちょう度(JIS K 2220:60回混和ちょう度)を測定した。結果を表2に併記する。 また、このグリース組成物を6204転がり軸受(深溝玉軸受)の軸受内空間に静止空間体積比で100体積%(1.6g)封入し、シールド板で封止して試験軸受とした。この試験軸受を下記のトルク測定試験に供し、回転トルクの経時変化を調べた。結果を図2に示す。また、下記のグリース漏れ試験に供した。
実施例と同種の基油を用い、脂肪族ウレア化合物を増ちょう剤とするグリース組成物を得た。増ちょう剤の含有量は表2のとおりである。なお、脂肪族ウレア化合物としては、ジイソシアネートである4,4'−ジフェニルメタンジイソシアネートと、この2倍当量となるモノアミンであるオクチルアミンとを基油中で反応させて得られたものを用いた。このグリース組成物について、混和ちょう度(JIS K 2220:60回混和ちょう度)を測定した。結果を表2に併記する。 また、このグリース組成物を6204転がり軸受(深溝玉軸受)の軸受内空間に静止空間体積比で100体積%(1.6g)封入し、シールド板で封止して試験軸受とした。この試験軸受を実施例と同じ下記のトルク測定試験に供し、回転トルクの経時変化を調べた。結果を図2に示す。また、実施例と同じ下記のグリース漏れ試験に供した。
試験軸受を固定し、回転数3600rpm、室温(25℃)雰囲気、外輪にアキシャル荷重20Nを負荷してロードセルで拘束し、内輪回転として、軸受で発生するトルク(Nmm)を算出した。
試験軸受を固定し、回転数10000rpm、室温(25℃)雰囲気、外輪にアキシャル荷重67N、ラジアル荷重67Nを負荷してロードセルで拘束し、内輪回転として、試験前に対する100時間運転後のグリース残存率を測定した。なお、試験前は、軸受内空間に静止空間体積比で100体積%相当の1.6gを封入している。

Claims (8)
- 基油と増ちょう剤とを含むグリース組成物であって、
前記増ちょう剤が、疎水性セルロース繊維であり、前記基油と前記増ちょう剤の合計質量に対して0.1〜15質量%含まれ、
前記疎水性セルロース繊維は、該繊維でシートを作製し、該シート表面に水を滴下した際のシートと水との接触角が120度以上であり、
前記グリース組成物の混和ちょう度が、350〜430であることを特徴とするグリース組成物。 - 前記疎水性セルロース繊維が、平均繊維径4〜500nmであるセルロースナノファイバーであることを特徴とする請求項1記載のグリース組成物。
- 前記基油が、植物油およびエステル油から選ばれる少なくとも1つを含むことを特徴とする請求項1または請求項2記載のグリース組成物。
- 前記基油が、パラフィン系鉱油およびエーテル油から選ばれる少なくとも1つを含むことを特徴とする請求項1または請求項2記載のグリース組成物。
- 前記基油の40℃における動粘度が20〜80mm 2 /sであることを特徴とする請求項1から請求項4までのいずれか1項記載のグリース組成物。
- 請求項1から請求項5までのいずれか1項記載のグリース組成物の製造方法であって、
前記基油と前記疎水性セルロース繊維とを混合して懸濁液とし、該懸濁液中の前記疎水性セルロース繊維の凝集体を機械的に解繊してグリース化することを特徴とするグリース組成物の製造方法。 - 転がり接触する2つの部材を含み、その転がり接触部をグリース組成物で潤滑してなる転動装置であって、
前記グリース組成物が請求項1から請求項5までのいずれか1項記載のグリース組成物であることを特徴とする転動装置。 - 前記転動装置は、外周に内輪軌道面を有する内輪と、内周に外輪軌道面を有する外輪と、前記内輪軌道面と前記外輪軌道面との間を転動する複数の転動体とを有する転がり軸受であることを特徴とする請求項7記載の転動装置。
