Claims (5)
- 荷電粒子ビームを生成するシンクロトロンと、
前記シンクロトロンから取り出された荷電粒子ビームを照射対象へ照射して照射野を形成する照射野形成装置と、
前記照射野形成装置が設けられ、前記照射対象の周囲を回転可能な回転ガントリーと、
前記照射対象の位置における前記荷電粒子ビームのディスパージョンを前記回転ガント
リーの複数の回転角度において測定するディスパージョン測定装置と、
を備え、
前記シンクロトロンから取り出された前記荷電粒子ビームの軌道中心と前記回転ガントリーの回転軸とが略同一直線上であり、
複数のガントリー回転角における水平及び垂直のディスパージョンが同時に0に補正されることを特徴とする粒子線治療システム。 - 請求項1に記載の粒子線治療システムであって、
前記複数のガントリー回転角は、0度と90度であることを特徴とする粒子線治療システム。 - 請求項1または2いずれか1項に記載の粒子線治療システムであって、
前記回転ガントリーの回転軸の延長線上に、前記シンクロトロンから前記回転ガントリーまで前記荷電粒子ビームを直線的に輸送する高エネルギービーム輸送系が設けられることを特徴とする粒子線治療システム。 - 請求項1乃至3いずれか1項に記載の粒子線治療システムであって、
前記照射対象の位置におけるディスパージョンを、四極磁場発生装置を用いて調整することを特徴とする粒子線治療システム。 - 請求項4に記載の粒子線治療システムであって、
前記照射対象の位置におけるディスパージョンを前記ビームの運動量が0.01%変化した場合の前記照射対象の位置における前記荷電粒子ビームの位置の変化量が0.5mm以下となる様な範囲に調整することを特徴とする粒子線治療システム。
