一度フィルター素子がブロックされた状態になると、吸収層の総限度容量には達していなくても、もはや負圧が傷口に伝えられない。
このようなバッフル素子は、伝達層105および/または吸収層110の領域、あるいは、吸収層110および/または伝達層105が存在しないシーリング領域内に配置または射出され得る。
さらなるオプションとして、活性炭素、シクロデキストリン、ゼオライトなどの消臭素子が吸収層に、または、フィルター層の上のさらなる層として含まれてもよい。
なお、本発明は、以下の実施例を含むことも好適である。
(実施例1)
傷口に局所負圧をかけるための創傷を被覆するための装置であって、当該装置は、
液体および気体透過性の伝達層と、
前記伝達層の上に位置する、創傷滲出液を吸収するための吸収層と、
前記吸収層の上に位置し、第1のオリフィスを備える、気体不透過性のカバー層と、
を備え、前記カバー層は、水蒸気透過性であることを特徴とする装置。
(実施例2)
前記吸収層は、前記伝達層の縁部領域を超えて被覆材の中央領域から外向きに延在することを特徴とする実施例1に記載の装置。
(実施例3)
前記カバー層は、水蒸気透過性のフィルムと、前記フィルム上に広がる接着層パターンと、を備えることを特徴とする実施例1または2に記載の装置。
(実施例4)
前記水蒸気透過性のフィルムが、湿潤時に水の透過速度が高くなる材料から製造されるフィルムを備えることを特徴とする実施例3に記載の装置。
(実施例5)
前記第1のオリフィスの周囲の前記カバー層にシールされたポートをさらに備えることを特徴とする実施例1〜4のいずれかに記載の装置。
(実施例6)
前記第1のオリフィスを覆い、かつ、前記カバー層および/または前記ポートにシールされたフィルター膜をさらに備えることを特徴とする実施例5に記載の装置。
(実施例7)
前記吸収層は、前記第1のオリフィスの下に位置する第2のオリフィスを備えることを特徴とする実施例1〜6のいずれかに記載の装置。
(実施例8)
前記第1のオリフィスは、前記第2のオリフィスを通して伝達層に結合されることを特徴とする実施例7に記載の装置。
(実施例9)
前記伝達層の下に位置する、穿孔した創傷接触層をさらに備えることを特徴とする実施例1〜8のいずれかに記載の装置。
(実施例10)
前記創傷接触層の下面および/または上面に接着層をさらに備えることを特徴とする実施例9に記載の装置。
(実施例11)
前記創傷接触層の下面にリリース可能な保護層をさらに備えることを特徴とする実施例9または10に記載の装置。
(実施例12)
前記カバー層および前記創傷接触層が、前記吸収層の縁部領域を超えて被覆材の中央領域から外向きに延在することで、前記カバー層および前記創傷接触層が、前記周囲領域で一緒にシールされることを特徴とする実施例9〜11のいずれかに記載の装置。
(実施例13)
創傷接触層内および/または前記吸収層内に抗菌剤をさらに備えることを特徴とする実施例1〜12のいずれかに記載の装置。
(実施例14)
痛み止めおよび/または細胞活性強化剤をさらに備えることを特徴とする実施例1〜13のいずれかに記載の装置。
(実施例15)
消臭剤をさらに備えることを特徴とする実施例1〜14のいずれかに記載の装置。
(実施例16)
傷口に局所負圧(TNP)をかける方法であって、
創傷被覆材のカバー層のオリフィスに負圧をかけるステップであって、前記傷口の周囲領域は、前記創傷被覆材でシールされており、これにより、空気および創傷滲出液が前記オリフィスに向けて引き込まれる、ステップと、
前記創傷被覆材の伝達層を通って、前記創傷被覆材の吸収層内に創傷滲出液を収集するステップと、
前記創傷被覆材の前記カバー層を通して前記吸収層に収集された前記創傷滲出液の水分を蒸発させるステップと、
を備える方法。
(実施例17)
前記負圧をかけるステップが、前記オリフィスに配置された液体不透過性、気体透過性のフィルター膜を通して負圧をかけるステップをさらに備えることを特徴とする実施例16に記載の方法。
(実施例18)
前記伝達層を介して前記傷口に亘る前記オリフィスに前記負圧を分配するステップをさらに備えることを特徴とする実施例16または17に記載の方法。
(実施例19)
前記吸収層内のさらなるオリフィスを介して前記オリフィスに前記伝達層を連結するステップをさらに備えることを特徴とする実施例16〜18のいずれかに記載の方法。
(実施例20)
前記蒸発させるステップが、0mmHg〜200mmHgの負圧化で前記カバー層を通って前記吸収層内に収集された前記創傷滲出液の前記水分を蒸発させるステップ備えることを特徴とする実施例16〜18のいずれかに記載の方法。

Claims (14)
- 創傷部位において局所負圧の適用に用いる創傷被覆材であって、前記創傷被覆材は、
流体が可撓性創傷接触層を通って流れることを可能にするための貫通孔またはスリットを内部に有する可撓性創傷接触層を含む下面と、
液体および気体の透過性がある伝達層と、
創傷滲出液を吸収する吸収層であって、超吸収材を含む又は超吸収材である、吸収層と、
前記吸収層を覆うとともに、オリフィスを備える気体不透過性カバー層であって、気体不透過性カバー層は水蒸気透過性がある、気体不透過性カバー層と、
前記オリフィスの周囲の前記気体不透過性カバー層にシールされたポートと、
前記ポートに連結された導管と、
を備え、前記創傷被覆材は、創傷滲出液が前記オリフィスに向かって移動する速度を落とすように構成された少なくとも1つの要素をさらに備え、
前記少なくとも1つの要素は1つまたは複数のバッフル要素を備える創傷被覆材。 - 前記少なくとも1つの要素は、前記オリフィスに達する前の被覆材を通る、より長い経路を、創傷滲出液がたどるように強いるように構成された請求項1に記載の創傷被覆材。
- 前記少なくとも1つの要素は、前記オリフィスに達する前に前記吸収層中に吸収された創傷滲出液の量を増やすように構成された請求項1または2に記載の創傷被覆材。
- 前記吸収層は、その内部に1つ又は複数の貫通孔を備える請求項1に記載の創傷被覆材。
- 前記気体不透過性カバー層は、湿潤時に水の透過速度が高くなる材料から製造されたフィルムを備える請求項4に記載の創傷被覆材。
- フィルター膜をさらに備え、前記フィルター膜は、第1のオリフィスを覆うとともに、前記気体不透過性カバー層および/または前記ポートにシールされた請求項5に記載の創傷被覆材。
- 前記ポートは、前記気体不透過性カバー層に前記ポートをシールするフランジを備える請求項6に記載の創傷被覆材。
- 前記気体不透過性カバー層は、前記創傷被覆材の周囲の境界領域内の創傷接触層にシールされた請求項7に記載の創傷被覆材。
- 前記創傷接触層は、前記伝達層の下に位置する、穴のあいた創傷接触層である請求項8に記載の創傷被覆材。
- 前記創傷接触層の下面および/または上面にある接着層をさらに備える請求項9に記載の創傷被覆材。
- 前記気体不透過性カバー層は、前記創傷被覆材から創傷滲出液の水成分を放出する請求項10に記載の創傷被覆材。
- ポンプをさらに備え、前記ポンプは、前記ポートと流体連通状態にあるととともに前記伝達層に負圧を伝えるように構成された請求項11に記載の創傷被覆材。
- 前記導管の少なくとも一部は、前記ポートにあらかじめ取り付けられており、かつ前記創傷被覆材は、前記導管を介して前記ポンプに連結されるように構成された請求項12に記載の創傷被覆材。
- 前記吸収層は、セルロース、ポリエステル、又はビスコースからつくられた複数の繊維の層を含む請求項13に記載の創傷被覆材。
