Claims (14)
- バルーンカテーテルのバルーンの外表面に、結晶が各々独立した長軸を有する複数の長尺体を含む形態型である水不溶性薬剤を含むコート層を形成するバルーンコーティング方法であって、
前記バルーンを当該バルーンの軸心を中心に回転させつつ、水不溶性薬剤および溶媒を含むコーティング溶液を供給するためのポリオレフィンにより形成される管状のディスペンシングチューブの前記コーティング溶液を吐出する開口部が形成される端部側を、前記バルーンの回転方向と逆方向へ向くように前記バルーンの外表面に接触させ、前記ディスペンシングチューブを前記バルーンの軸心方向へ当該バルーンに対して相対的に移動させて、前記開口部から前記コーティング溶液を吐出させて前記バルーンの外表面に塗布する塗布工程を有し、
前記ディスペンシングチューブが撓まないと仮定した場合に、前記ディスペンシングチューブが前記バルーンの外表面と交わる交点から、前記ディスペンシングチューブの前記開口部が形成される吐出端までの長さを接触長さと定義し、
前記塗布工程において、前記接触長さが1mm以上4mm以下となるように、前記ディスペンシングチューブの前記開口部が形成される端部側の側面の、当該ディスペンシングチューブの延在方向へ連続した長さを前記バルーンの外表面に接触させた状態で、前記コーティング溶液を吐出させるバルーンコーティング方法。 - 前記ディスペンシングチューブは、ポリエチレンまたはポリプロピレンにより形成される請求項1に記載のバルーンコーティング方法。
- 前記ディスペンシングチューブの前記開口部は、鉛直方向下方へ向かって開口している請求項1または2に記載のバルーンコーティング方法。
- 前記ディスペンシングチューブは、鉛直方向下方へ向かって延在している請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載のバルーンコーティング方法。
- 前記ディスペンシングチューブは、前記バルーンの外表面に撓んだ状態で接触し、当該バルーンの外表面に接触する範囲にある前記ディスペンシングチューブの延在方向は前記バルーンの外表面に平行となる請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載のバルーンコーティング方法。
- 前記バルーンは、ポリアミド類により形成される請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載のバルーンコーティング方法。
- バルーンカテーテルのバルーンの外表面に形成される、結晶が各々独立した長軸を有する複数の長尺体を含む形態型である水不溶性薬剤を含むコート層の均一度を制御するコート層制御方法であって、
前記バルーンを当該バルーンの軸心を中心に回転させつつ、水不溶性薬剤および溶媒を含むコーティング溶液を供給するための樹脂により形成される管状のディスペンシングチューブの前記コーティング溶液を吐出する開口部が形成される端部側の部位を、前記バルーンの回転方向と逆方向へ向くように前記バルーンの外表面に接触させ、前記ディスペンシングチューブを前記バルーンの軸心方向へ当該バルーンに対して相対的に移動させて、前記開口部から前記コーティング溶液を吐出させて前記バルーンの外表面に塗布する塗布工程を有し、
前記ディスペンシングチューブが撓まないと仮定した場合に、前記ディスペンシングチューブが前記バルーンの外表面と交わる交点から、前記ディスペンシングチューブの前記開口部が形成される吐出端までの長さを接触長さと定義し、
前記塗布工程において、前記接触長さが1mm以上4mm以下となるように、前記ディスペンシングチューブの前記開口部が形成される端部側の側面の、当該ディスペンシングチューブの延在方向へ連続した長さを前記バルーンの外表面に接触させた状態で、前記コーティング溶液を吐出させるコート層制御方法。 - 前記塗布工程において、樹脂により形成される前記ディスペンシングチューブが、ポリオレフィンまたはフッ素系樹脂により形成され、前記バルーンの外表面に接触する範囲にある前記ディスペンシングチューブの延在方向を前記バルーンの外表面に平行とし、当該ディスペンシングチューブを用いて前記コート層の均一度を制御する請求項7に記載のコート層制御方法。
- 前記塗布工程において、前記ディスペンシングチューブの前記バルーンに対する前記軸心方向への相対的な移動速度、前記ディスペンシングチューブからの前記コーティング溶液の吐出速度、および前記バルーンの回転速度の少なくとも1つを調節して前記コート層の均一度を制御する請求項7または8に記載のコート層制御方法。
- バルーンカテーテルのバルーンの外表面に、結晶が各々独立した長軸を有する複数の長尺体を含む形態型である水不溶性薬剤を含むコート層を形成するバルーンコーティング装置であって、
前記バルーンを当該バルーンの軸心を中心として回転させる回転機構部と、
水不溶性薬剤および溶媒を含むコーティング溶液を供給するためのポリオレフィンにより形成される管状のディスペンシングチューブと、
前記ディスペンシングチューブを前記バルーンに対して当該バルーンの軸心方向へ相対的に移動させる移動構造部と、を有し、
前記ディスペンシングチューブが撓まないと仮定して、前記ディスペンシングチューブが前記バルーンの外表面と交わる交点から、前記ディスペンシングチューブの開口部が形成される吐出端までの長さを接触長さと定義した場合に、前記ディスペンシングチューブは、前記開口部が形成される端部側が前記バルーンの回転方向と逆方向へ向くように前記バルーンの外表面に接触するとともに、前記接触長さが1mm以上4mm以下となるように、前記コーティング溶液を吐出する開口部が形成される端部側の側面の、当該ディスペンシングチューブの延在方向へ連続した長さが前記バルーンの外表面に接触する状態で、前記コーティング溶液を吐出するバルーンコーティング装置。 - 前記ディスペンシングチューブの前記開口部は、鉛直方向下方へ向かって開口している請求項10に記載のバルーンコーティング装置。
- 前記ディスペンシングチューブは、鉛直方向下方へ向かって延在している請求項10または11に記載のバルーンコーティング装置。
- 前記ディスペンシングチューブは、前記バルーンの外表面に撓んだ状態で接触し、当該バルーンの外表面に接触する範囲にある前記ディスペンシングチューブの延在方向は前記バルーンの外表面に平行となる請求項10〜12のいずれか1項に記載のバルーンコーティング装置。
- 前記バルーンは、ポリアミド類により形成される請求項10〜13のいずれか1項に記載のバルーンコーティング装置。
