Claims (13)

前記下地ニッケルメッキ層上に設けられ、前記鋼板における前記表面の延在方向に交差する方向に沿って突出する複数の突起を含む本ニッケルメッキ層と、を有し、
前記複数の突起の少なくとも一部は、基端側から先端側に向かって先太りとなる先太り形状を呈する、蓄電装置。 - 前記電極の周縁部に沿って配置され、前記メッキ層に接する樹脂スペーサをさらに備え、
前記複数の突起において隣り合う二つの突起であって、少なくとも一方が前記先太り形状を呈する当該二つの突起間には、前記先端側から前記基端側にわたって前記樹脂スペーサの一部が介在されている、請求項1記載の蓄電装置。 - 前記複数の突起の平均高さは、15μm以上30μm以下である、請求項1又は2記載の蓄電装置。
- 前記複数の突起の少なくとも一部には、複数の析出金属が重畳している、請求項1〜3の何れか一項に記載の蓄電装置。
- 前記析出金属は球形である、請求項4に記載の蓄電装置。
- 前記蓄電装置は、ニッケル水素二次電池である、請求項1〜5の何れか一項記載の蓄電装置。

前記本ニッケルメッキ層を形成する工程では、前記複数の突起の少なくとも一部を、基端側から先端側に向かって先太りとなる先太り形状とする、蓄電装置の製造方法。 - 前記下地ニッケルメッキ層が設けられた前記鋼板を、電流密度が30A/dm2以上50A/dm2以下の条件下にて、ニッケル濃度が0.15mol/L以上0.30mol/L未満に設定されたワット浴に浸漬することによって、前記本ニッケルメッキ層を前記下地ニッケルメッキ層上に形成する、請求項9に記載の蓄電装置の製造方法。

- 前記本ニッケルメッキ層を形成する工程において、前記下地ニッケルメッキ層と前記ワット浴との相対速度は、1.0m/s以下である、請求項10又は11に記載の蓄電装置の製造方法。
- 前記本ニッケルメッキ層を形成する工程では、前記下地ニッケルメッキ層に形成された複数の凸部の上に、複数のニッケル結晶を重畳させることで前記複数の突起を形成する、請求項9〜12の何れか一項に記載の蓄電装置の製造方法。
