次に、蓄電モジュール4の電極板15及び金属板20に形成される突起31の粗化メッキ量Xと平均高さYとの関係が上記式(1)〜(3)を満たしている場合に、電極板15(金属板20)と第1封止部21との間の結合強度の確保ができる点について、実施例1〜6及び比較例1〜2に基づいて説明する。なお、本発明の一側面は、以下に示す実施例1〜6に限定されるものではない。
Claims (7)
- 金属製の電極板を有し、一方向に沿って積層して配置される複数の電極と、
隣接する前記電極間のそれぞれに配置されるセパレータと、
複数の前記電極のそれぞれの電極板の縁部に結合されている樹脂部材と、を備え、
前記電極板の少なくとも前記縁部には、前記電極板の表面を覆うメッキ層が形成されており、
前記メッキ層は、ニッケルを析出させることにより形成されるニッケルメッキ層であり、前記電極板の表面に形成される凸部を起点として複数の析出ニッケルが積み重なることで形成された前記一方向に突出する突起を複数有し、
前記突起は、前記複数の電極の積層方向に交差する方向の寸法が基端よりも大きい拡大部を有し、前記拡大部は前記基端よりも先端側に位置しており、
前記突起を形成する前記金属の単位面積あたりの重量である粗化メッキ量(g/m2)をXとし、前記突起の平均高さ(μm)をYとしたとき、粗化メッキ量Xと平均高さYとが下記式(1)〜(3)を満たし、

前記内部空間に収容されたアルカリ溶液を含む電解液と、を更に備え、
前記封止体と前記負極終端電極の電極板とによって囲まれる空間が形成されている、請求項1又は2記載の蓄電モジュール。 - 金属製の電極板を有し、一方向に沿って積層して配置される複数の電極と、
隣接する前記電極間のそれぞれに配置されるセパレータと、
複数の前記電極のそれぞれの電極板の縁部に結合されている樹脂部材と、
前記セパレータを介して前記電極が積層された電極群の前記一方向における一端にセパレータを介して配置され、前記電極群と対向する面に負極層が形成された電極板からなる負極終端電極と、
前記樹脂部材と前記電極とセパレータと前記負極終端電極とを含む積層体の前記一方向に延在する側面を覆うように設けられ、隣り合う前記電極間に内部空間を形成すると共に前記内部空間を封止する封止体と、
前記内部空間に収容されたアルカリ溶液を含む電解液と、を備え、
前記電極板の少なくとも前記縁部には、前記電極板の表面を覆うメッキ層が形成されており、
前記メッキ層は、前記表面から前記一方向に突出すると共に金属からなる複数の突起を有し、
前記突起を形成する前記金属の単位面積あたりの重量である粗化メッキ量(g/m2)をXとし、前記突起の平均高さ(μm)をYとしたとき、粗化メッキ量Xと平均高さYとが下記式(1)〜(3)を満たし、

隣接する前記突起の間には、前記樹脂部材の一部が介在されおり、

前記封止体と前記負極終端電極の電極板と前記金属板とによって囲まれる空間が形成されている、請求項3又は4記載の蓄電モジュール。 - 前記メッキ層は、前記電極板の中央部において前記電極板の前記表面を更に覆う、請求項1〜5の何れか一項記載の蓄電モジュール。
- 前記電極は、前記電極板の一方の面に設けられた正極層と、前記電極板の他方の面に設けられた負極層とが形成されている、請求項1〜6の何れか一項記載の蓄電モジュール。
