カルボキシル基を有する多官能(メタ)アクリレート(A)(本開示において、「(A)成分」ともいう。)は、カルボキシル基と2個以上の(メタ)アクリロイル基を有するものを指す。(A)成分は、ヒドロキシル基を有する多官能(メタ)アクリレートのヒドロキシ基に対して二塩基酸無水物基を有する化合物を反応させてカルボキシル基を導入する等の方法で得ることが可能である。
本開示の活性エネルギー線硬化型コーティング剤に中空粒子(B)(本開示において、「(B)成分」ともいう。)を含むことにより、得られる硬化物の屈折率を低下させることができる。中空粒子は、内部に空孔を有していれば特に制限されない。
本開示の活性エネルギー線硬化型コーティング剤にエチレン性不飽和基含有ポリシロキサン(C)(本開示において、「(C)成分」ともいう。)を含むことで、耐擦傷性に優れる。本開示においてポリシロキサンとは、−ケイ素(Si)−酸素(O)−[−ケイ素(Si)−酸素(O)−]L−ケイ素(Si)−(Lは1以上の整数である。)で表される構造である。(C)成分として、一般式(1)で示されるものが例示される。
χ1〜χ2、χ5〜χ6は、それぞれ独立に、炭素数1以上4以下のアルキル基又は炭素数1以上4以下のアルキレン基を有していてもよいエチレン性不飽和基であり、
χ3〜χ4は、それぞれ独立に、炭素数1以上4以下のアルキル基又は炭素数1以上4以下のアルキレン基を有していてもよいエチレン性不飽和基であり、繰返し単位毎に同一であっても異なっていてもよく、

本開示の活性エネルギー線硬化型コーティング剤に(メタ)アクリレート変性パーフルオロポリエーテル(D)(本開示において、「(D)成分」ともいう。)を含むことで、滑り性及び耐擦傷性に優れる。すなわち、(D)成分を含むことで、本開示の活性エネルギー線硬化型コーティング剤の硬化物表面に撥水撥油性、滑り性、耐指紋付着性、耐擦傷性を付与することができる。(メタ)アクリレート変性パーフルオロポリエーテルとは、パーフルオロポリエーテルに(メタ)アクリロイル基が1つ以上結合したものである。
本開示の活性エネルギー線硬化型コーティング剤には、水酸基と反応可能な基及び少なくとも1個のエチレン性不飽和基を含有する化合物(E−1)(本開示において、「(E−1)成分」ともいう。)と水酸基含有フッ素重合体(E−2)(本開示において、「(E−2)成分」ともいう。)とを反応させて得られるエチレン性不飽和基含有フッ素重合体(E)(本開示において、「(E)成分」ともいう。)を含んでもよい。(E)成分は、フッ素系オレフィンの重合物である。(E)成分を含むことで、本開示の積層体の滑り性を調節することが可能である。そのことにより、例えばタッチパネル等の用途で本開示の積層体を用いる場合、タッチペン等による書き心地を良好にすることが可能である。
(E−1)成分の水酸基と反応可能な基として、カルボキシル基、イソシアネート基、酸クロリド基等が例示される。(E−1)成分のエチレン性不飽和基として、炭素−炭素二重結合が例示され、具体的には、ビニル基、(メタ)アクリロイル基等が例示される。
(E−2)成分は、水酸基を含有するフッ素重合体であれば特に限定されない。(E−2)成分として、例えば、エチレン性不飽和基を有する有機フッ素化合物であるモノマー(E−2−1)(本開示において、「(E−2−1)成分」ともいう。)とエチレン性不飽和基及び水酸基を有するモノマー(E−2−2)(本開示において、「(E−2−2)成分」ともいう。)の重合体等が例示される。
本開示の活性エネルギー線硬化型コーティング剤には光重合開始剤(F)(本開示において、「(F)成分」ともいう。)を含んでもよい。光重合開始剤として、ラジカル系光重合開始剤、カチオン系光重合開始剤、アニオン系光重合開始剤等が例示される。
本開示の活性エネルギー線硬化型コーティング剤には、さらに、必要に応じて上記例示した成分以外のバインダー樹脂(アクリル樹脂、ウレタン樹脂、ポリエステル樹脂、エポキシ樹脂、アルキド樹脂等)、防滑剤、スリップ剤、防腐剤、防錆剤、pH調整剤、顔料、染料、滑剤、レベリング剤、触媒、消泡剤、光増感剤(アミン類、キノン類等)等の各種添加剤を配合することもできる。
本開示の活性エネルギー線硬化型コーティング剤は、(A)成分、(B)成分、(C)成分、(D)成分、さらに必要に応じて、(E)成分、(F)成分、(G)成分を混合することで得られる。
基材と本開示の活性エネルギー線硬化型コーティング剤の硬化物とを含む積層体も、本開示では提供する。また、本開示において、基材の少なくとも片面に塗工した本開示の活性エネルギー線硬化型コーティング剤を、活性エネルギー線で硬化する工程を含む、積層体の製造方法も、本開示では提供する。本開示の活性エネルギー線硬化型コーティング剤の硬化物は、低屈折率層として好ましい効果を奏する。
なお、静摩擦係数はJIS K7125に規定された方法により、テンシロン万能試験機RTC−1250A((株)エー・アンド・デイ製)を用いて測定される静摩擦係数である。

(A)成分として多塩基酸変性多官能アクリレート(製品名「アロニックスM510」、東亞合成(株)製)を51質量部、(B)成分として中空シリカ粒子(製品名「スルーリア4320」、日揮触媒化成工業(株)製)を39質量部、(C)成分としてポリシロキサン側鎖に(メタ)アクリロイル基を含む成分(製品名「KP−420」、信越化学工業(株)製)を2質量部、(D)成分として片末端(メタ)アクリレート変性パーフルオロポリエーテル(製品名「KY−1203」(信越化学工業(株)製))を4質量部、開始剤として2−ヒロドキシ−1−{4−[4−(2−ヒドロキシ−2−メチル−プロピオニル)−ベンジル]フェニル}−2−メチル−プロパン−1−オン(製品名「オムニラッド 127」、IGM Resins社製)を4質量部混合するとともに、メチルイソブチルケトンにて希釈し、固形分2質量%の活性エネルギー線硬化型コーティング剤を調製した。
実施例2〜3及び比較例1〜10は、表1及び表2に記載の組成に変更したことを除き、実施例1と同様の手法により行い、活性エネルギー線硬化型コーティング剤(2)〜(3)及び(C1)〜(C10)を得た。
高硬度ハードコート剤(製品名「OPSTAR Z7537」)を乾燥後の膜厚が4.0μmとなるように、ポリエチレンテレフタレートフィルム(製品名「ルミラー 50U483」、東レ(株)製、膜厚:50μm)に塗布し、80℃で1分乾燥後、空気雰囲気下で活性エネルギー線を照射し(紫外線照射:550mW/cm2、100mJ/cm2)、硬化させた。当該ハードコート面に活性エネルギー線硬化型コーティング剤(1)を乾燥後の膜厚が0.1μmとなるように塗布し、80℃で1分乾燥後、空気雰囲気下で活性エネルギー線を照射し(紫外線照射:550mW/cm2、100mJ/cm2)、硬化させ、積層体(1)を得た。
評価例2〜3及び比較評価例1〜10は、活性エネルギー線硬化型コーティング剤(1)をそれぞれ活性エネルギー線硬化型コーティング剤(2)〜(3)又は(C1)〜(C10)に変更したことを除き、評価例1と同様の手法により行い、積層体(2)〜(3)及び(C1)〜(C10)を得た。
得られた各積層体の低屈折率層に対して、JIS K7142:2014に準拠し、アッベ屈折計(製品名「NAR−1T SOLID」、(株)アタゴ製)を用いてナトリウムのD線の波長に対する屈折率を測定した。
JIS K 7125:1999に準じ、得られた各積層体の低屈折率層の静摩擦係数を測定した。
得られた各積層体の低屈折率層が上方を向くようにしてスチールウール試験機に設置し、#0000のスチールウールを1cm×1cmの面に固定し、1kg/cm2の荷重で50往復擦ることで試験を実施した。外観変化を、目視にて確認し、下記基準に沿って評価した。

M510:多塩基酸変性多官能アクリレート(製品名「アロニックスM510」、東亞合成(株)製)
A−DPH:ジペンタエリスリトールポリアクリレート(製品名「NKエステルA−DPH」、新中村化学工業(株)製)
A−TMMT:ペンタエリスリトールポリアクリレート(製品名「NKエステルA−TMMT」、新中村化学工業(株)製)
MT−3548:ペンタエリスリトールポリアクリレート(製品名「アロニックスMT−3548」、東亞合成(株)製)
PU610:脂肪族ウレタンアクリレート(製品名「Miramer PU610」、MIWON社製)
4320:中空シリカ粒子(製品名「スルーリア4320」、日揮触媒化成工業(株)製)
KP−418:ポリシロキサンの片末端に(メタ)アクリロイル基を含む成分(製品名「KP−418」、信越化学工業(株)製)
KP−420:ポリシロキサン側鎖に(メタ)アクリロイル基を含む成分(製品名「KP−420」、信越化学工業(株)製)
KY−1203:片末端(メタ)アクリレート変性パーフルオロポリエーテル(製品名「KY−1203」(信越化学工業(株)製))
KY−1207:片末端(メタ)アクリレート変性パーフルオロポリエーテル(製品名「KY−1207」(信越化学工業(株)製))
F Polymer:下記製造例1により得た重合体を使用した。
Omni127D:2−ヒロドキシ−1−{4−[4−(2−ヒドロキシ−2−メチル−プロピオニル)−ベンジル]フェニル}−2−メチル−プロパン−1−オン(製品名「オムニラッド 127」、IGM Resins社製)
内容積2.0リットルの電磁攪拌機付きステンレス製オートクレーブを窒素ガスで十分置換した後、酢酸エチル11544g、パーフルオロ(プロピルビニルエーテル)3464g、エチルビニルエーテル938g、ヒドロキシエチルビニルエーテル1145g、過酸化ラウロイル37.5g、アゾ基含有ポリジメチルシロキサン(VPS1001(商品名)、和光純薬工業(株)製)225g及びノニオン性反応性乳化剤(ER−30(商品名)、旭電化工業(株)製を予め溶媒をすべて留去した固体組成としたもの)1125gを仕込み、ドライアイス−メタノールで−50℃まで冷却した後、再度窒素ガスで系内の酸素を除去した。次いでヘキサフルオロプロピレン1953gを仕込み、昇温を開始した。オートクレーブ内の温度が60℃に達した時点での圧力は5.3×105Paを示した。その後、70℃で20時間攪拌下に反応を継続し、圧力が1.7×105Paに低下した時点でオートクレーブを水冷し、反応を停止させた。室温に達した後、オートクレーブを開放し、固形分濃度26.4%のポリマー溶液を得た。得られたポリマー溶液をメタノールに投入しポリマーを析出させた後、メタノールにて洗浄し、50℃にて真空乾燥を行い約5kgの水酸基含有フッ素重合体を得た。電磁攪拌機、ガラス製冷却管及び温度計を備えた容量1リットルのセパラブルフラスコに、水酸基含有フッ素重合体を120g、重合禁止剤として2,6−ジ−t−ブチルメチルフェノール0.02g及びメチルイソブチルケトン(MIBK)862gを仕込み、20℃で水酸基含有フッ素重合体がMIBKに溶解して、溶液が透明、均一になるまで攪拌を行った。次いで、この系に、2−メタクリロイルオキシエチルイソシアネート32.1gを添加し、溶液が均一になるまで攪拌した後、ジブチルチンジラウレート0.3gを添加して反応を開始し、系の温度を55〜65℃に保持し5時間攪拌を継続することにより、(F)成分のMIBK溶液を得た。固形分含量は、15.0質量%であった。

- カルボキシル基を有する多官能(メタ)アクリレート(A)、
中空粒子(B)、
エチレン性不飽和基含有ポリシロキサン(C)及び
(メタ)アクリレート変性パーフルオロポリエーテル(D)
を含む活性エネルギー線硬化型コーティング剤。 - 水酸基と反応可能な基及び少なくとも1個のエチレン性不飽和基を含有する化合物と水酸基含有フッ素重合体とを反応させて得られるエチレン性不飽和基含有フッ素重合体(E)を含む請求項1に記載の活性エネルギー線硬化型コーティング剤。
- 請求項1又は2に記載の活性エネルギー線硬化型コーティング剤の硬化物。
- 基材と請求項3に記載の硬化物を有する積層体。
