Description
図7(a)は本発明に係る記録ヘッドユニット20を搭載可能な記録装置1000を示す概略斜視図である。図7(a)に示すように、リードスクリュー5004は、駆動モータ5013の正逆回転に連動して駆動力伝達ギア5008,5009を介して回転する。キャリッジHCは記録ヘッドユニット20を載置可能であり、リードスクリュー5004の螺旋溝5005に係合するピン(不図示)を有しており、リードスクリュー5004が回転することによって矢印a,b方向に往復移動される。
図1から図3を参照しながら、本発明に係る記録素子基板(以下、単に「基板」とも称する)に搭載される吐出モジュール(記録モジュール)とメモリモジュールの回路構成を説明する。
図4は、本実施形態における記録素子基板I1の平面図を示す。また、図5は、図4の点線で囲う領域Aの拡大図を示す。
図6(a)は、第2の実施形態における基板I2の部分拡大図であり、図5に対応する図である。上述の実施形態と同様の構成については説明を省略する。
図6(b)は、第3の実施形態における基板I3の部分拡大図であり、図5に対応する図である。上述の実施形態と同様の構成については説明を省略する。
図6(c)は第4の実施形態における基板I3の部分拡大図であり、図5に対応する図である。上述の実施形態と同様の構成については説明を省略する。

Claims (12)
- 信号供給回路と、
複数の記録素子と、前記複数の記録素子のそれぞれに対応する第1の論理回路と、を含む記録モジュールと、
複数のメモリ素子と、前記複数のメモリ素子のそれぞれに対応する第2の論理回路と、を含むメモリモジュールと、
前記信号供給回路と複数の前記第1の論理回路及び複数の前記第2の論理回路と、を共通に接続するための共通配線と、
を有する記録素子基板において、
前記共通配線の延在する方向と前記複数の記録素子が配列された方向とは互いに沿っており、前記メモリモジュールは前記共通配線と前記複数の記録素子との間に配されていることを特徴とする記録素子基板。 - 前記複数の第1の論理回路は前記延在する方向に沿って配列されており、少なくとも一つの前記第2の論理回路は前記延在する方向において隣接する前記第1の論理回路の間に配されている、請求項1に記載の記録素子基板。
- 前記延在する方向において、前記第1の論理回路と前記第2の論理回路とは少なくとも一部が互いに重なるように配されている、請求項2に記載の記録素子基板。
- 前記記録モジュールは、前記記録素子と前記第1の論理回路とをそれぞれ接続する第1の駆動素子を含み、
前記メモリモジュールは、前記メモリ素子と前記第2の論理回路とをそれぞれ接続する第2の駆動素子を含む、請求項1乃至請求項3のいずれか一項に記載の記録素子基板。 - 前記第1の駆動素子の面積は前記第2の駆動素子の面積よりも大きい、請求項4に記載の記録素子基板。
- 前記延在する方向において、前記第1の駆動素子の長さは前記第2の駆動素子の長さよりも長い、請求項4または請求項5に記載の記録素子基板。
- 前記複数の記録素子は、第1の量の記録剤を吐出するための第1の記録素子が配列された第1の記録素子列と、前記第1の量よりも多い第2の量の記録剤を吐出するための第2の記録素子が配列された第2の記録素子列と、を含み、前記メモリモジュールは前記第1の記録素子列と前記共通配線との間に配されている、請求項1乃至請求項6のいずれか一項に記載の記録素子基板。
- 前記第1の記録素子に接続された第1の駆動素子の面積は、前記第2の記録素子に接続された第1の駆動素子の面積よりも小さい、請求項7に記載の記録素子基板。
- 前記メモリ素子はアンチヒューズ素子である、請求項1乃至請求項8のいずれか一項に記載の記録素子基板。
- 前記信号供給回路は前記延在する方向における前記記録素子基板の端部に配されている、請求項1乃至請求項9のいずれか一項に記載の記録素子基板。
- 請求項1乃至請求項10のいずれか一項に記載の記録素子基板と、前記記録素子に対応する吐出口が設けられた吐出口部材と、を有し、前記記録素子が駆動されて前記吐出口から液体を吐出する液体吐出ヘッド。
- 請求項11に記載の液体吐出ヘッドを用いて記録を行う記録装置。
